"Recon." Kes said after a short pause, voice just as gritty and cold as ever. He probably could of said more, but most of his words remained as silent thoughts.
'I wish to know my hunting grounds.'
Staring out at the landscape Kes could see the cliffs would be a good area to survey the battle, but the distance would put him at a distinct disadvantage if he planned on really lowering the numbers of the invading force; which he did. The only other option that Kes could see as viable would be taking up a position either along the city walls, or in the small rolling hillocks of rubble and rock off to his right outside the gates.
