Techno grunted as the burning pain of being shot struck him. Thankfully, his leg hadn't been crippled, bit it still hurt like a mother bucker. He stuck his head out of the trench to see another pony charging from the same place the armored pony had been. He did the same thing as before: He sent a blast of magic at his legs, aiming to cripple, not kill.

(rolling to stagger/cripple legs. Magic: 45, Kamikaze.)

Pain. All Scrap felt was pain. He remembered shooting at the behemoth of a pony clearly then only snippets.

An explosion in his face. A scream of pain, his scream.

Being slammed into a wall by a force unseen. Tears falling down his cheeks as he cowered.

Cross Roads's taunts. Ashen's eerie calm.

"TOO THE MOON"

Then flight. Beyond the cloud layer. The real sun.

Falling. Smashing through walls of a ruin a mile from town.

Feeling bones break. Excruciating pain. Sliding to a stop.

Using his last bit of energy to record a message calling for help. Hitting transmit.

And then darkness as Scrap lay in a growing pool of his own blood.

Shutter almost felt the bullets whizzing past him in the seconds after the Slaver fell, and quickly aimed his Pistol, thanking his invisibility for keeping the one with the hunting rifle from having gotten a clear bead.
Shutter quickly ducked backwards behind the support his kill had been using, out of sight from the Slaver reloading.
Taking advantage of the time his Stealthbuck still had, Shutter quickly poked his head out from behind the cover, hoping he wouldn't be as obvious now, as he aimed at the Slaver, trying to gun them down before they had finished reloading.

Starry dropped the missle launcher. It would take too long to reload, and she didn't want it burdening her. She had spotted Lucky jumping out of the trench, and shouted up to him. "Lucky! You idiot! There's a slaver right there!" She was gesturing toward the slaver, fast approaching with the shotgun.

Starry's horn began to glow, as she levitated three firebombs out from her belt one at a time, heaving each one toward the incoming slaver.

The griffon spotted Lightning Flash taken off into the Sky, and hastily began reloading his weapon. He hadn't noticed Lucky firing up from the ground, who had managed to catch the griffon off guard and send a bullet into his gut. The drugged up griffon hardly felt it, as his lifted his now loaded weapon and aimed at Lightning.

The shotgun slaver leapt to avoid one of Starry's firebombs, and in doing so managed to dodge Techno's magic bolt. One of the firebombs struck against the side of his chest, and the fiery concoction dashed against him from his chest down to his flank. He could, of course, not feel a single thing. He stopped almost right in front of Lucky, and fired the shotgun. The bullets tore into his gut and his chest, and the sheer impact sent Lucky to the floor. The slaver pointed the shotgun straight at his face, and pulled the trigger.

The gun was jammed. "FUCK! You lucky son of a bitch!" the slaver shouted at him. As the flames grew in intensity, they finally started to overcome the effects of the med-x he had most definately been injected with, and he eventually fell to the floor, crying in pain. Lucky could feel the flames barely licking him from the nearby slaver, and they were fucking hot.

The slaver behind the wagon began shouting obscenities as bullets started to fly past him, a good number hitting the wagon. He ducked for cover briefly, and then lifted his rifle, looking down the scope toward the billboard. He couldn't see Shutter at all. He chose instead to shoot up at Lightning Flash, who was ascending rapidly. The first four shots missed horribly, but the fifth managed strike him squarely in the forehoof, crippling it.

The lancer, meanwhile, had found a way to propel himself by pushing himself forward with his back legs, forcing his face and chest plow through the dirt. It looked a little silly, especially with the lance clutched between his teeth, but he was rapidly closing in on Lucky and the shotgun slaver, who just lay there burning.

Lucky coughed, and then spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Well, that was a bad idea..."

He could feel the holes the buckshot had ripped through his body burning, and the concussion from the firebomb hadn't helped at all. He weakly scooted himself away from the burning mess next to him as far as he could, to avoid being lit up himself.

Amazingly, the young stallion could feel no pain; The alcohol in his system coupled with the shock of being both shot and exploded at the same time made sure of that. Instead, he shakily got up from the ground, and shambled his way toward the trench.

He called out in a loud yet strangled voice, "Techno!"

Techno reacted as quickly as he could. He threw a net of levitation around Lucky and pulled him back into the trench. He saw the extent of the wound and winced. And he did so again with a small grunt as he shifted some weight off his hind leg. "Starry! Keep them off of us! Lucky's down!" he yelled as he pulled out medical supplies and hastily got to work on dressing his rather gruesome wound, practically shoving a healing potion in his mouth to drink and injecting multiple shots of Med-X. He let down his magic for a moment to charge up a shield to throw over the two of them. His horn flashed and a shimmering blue shield appeared over him and his patient. He then resumed trying to keep Lucky in stable condition.

Spark Fire was chasing some wild game, hearing the cheering of his fellow tribespony. They weren't the best lookers but at the time, it was all he knew. He learned they were call'd ghouls and lived for a long time, hence why they looked the same for soo long...

"YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He shook his head, must be the wind he thought...

"YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Then gunfire and screams filled the savanna where he grew up for what seemed like a forever ago... He awoke to a nightmare... a war was all around him.

"YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The noise continued to fill his head, causing his sinuses to hurt. Again the screaming continued as it seem'd a skirmish broke out. A skirmish... right, Starry had mention'd that someone was going to take this city, not that he cared, cities spawn'd the same ponies that tried to hunt him awhile back... But still, he had to help Starry, he owe'd her that much.

"YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He shook his head, assured that he was awake and flew towards the noise, knowing he was going head first into a fight.

"Aye aye, team captain!" Starry replied, doing a quick salute to Techno. She peeked over the trench, and saw the lancer gaining distance fast. She couldn't help but giggle at how silly he looked, even as she lobbed a frag grenade toward him, aiming for the floor in front of his face.

Shutter rushed to reload the gun, only to see it suddenly start to become visible as his stealthbuck's field started to collapse.

"Damn it...got one chance..."
He muttered, as he shoved the gun back into his mouth and rushed out from behind the barricade, towards the Slaver with the hunting rifle, his stealthbuck still failing as he became more and more visible.
He was trying to stay low to the ground and slow enough to be stealthy, but still get as close as he could while they were distracted with Lightning. Should he manage to get close enough, he would ready his pistol, and try and aim several shots into the Slaver before they could finish reloading the second time.

Ashen groaned as he picked himself up after getting blasted by the explosion from the prism blaster the other pony had. Before he could do much though, he was hoisted into the air and treated to the sight of Cross's smug, gasmask covered mug.

As Cross gloated, if he expected a reaction from Ashen, he was disappointed. He kept that same blank expression on his face as he always did.

"TO THE MOON!!!!" cried out the hooded unicorn, before Ashen and the other pony were thrown into the sky, flying off to Celestia knows where.

Even in the face of certain death Ashen didn't feel a twinge of fear. He counted the seconds as he flew through the sky, wondering what was going to come next after all of this. He didn't get much time to think though, as he was rapidly exiting the cloud barrier and heading straight for the ground.

However, he hit something far sooner then he expected, feeling his body impacting something hard and feathery with a squawk. He turned his head, and barely got the chance to identify the thing as a griffon before the two hit the ground with a loud thud, squish, and crack.

Pain. That's all Ashen felt at that point. Incredibly pain. As he laid there, moaning on a crushed and bleeding body of a griffon, he managed to identify a few things through the haze. One, the griffon cushioned his fall, which basically meant he didn't break every single bone in his body. Only most of them. Second, there were several ponies all over the place, although beyond that he couldn't identify anyone. And third, he wasn't dead.

It was at that point his body couldn't take anymore, and he drifted off into the black calm of unconsciousness.

As Lightning ascended, he could hear the gunshots of the slaver trying to shoot up at him. Right when he reached his optimal height, a bullet managed to hit him in his hoof causing him to yell out in pain, trying very hard not to drop his SMG in his mouth. "AHH! Dammit!" Feeling quite angry now, he would look down at the slaver who shot him and yell, "I'm going to kill you now, asshole!"

Quickly speeding into action, he left his injured hoof bent but he extended his good hoof in order to make himself as sleek and aerodynamic as he could. He circled the slaver with the hunting rifle before attacking from the angle behind the wagon, pulling into a dive and unloading the rest of his clip to strafe the ground on and around the wagon.

Lucky could feel the healing potion repairing his shredded insides, and the euphoric feeling of the Med-X washed over him as any and all pain left his system. The wound in his hoof was healing, even though the bullet was still lodged inside. However, the only thing that crossed Lucky's mind was the amount of bullets he had left.

'I should really start conserving my ammo, I've already used ten of my twenty shots. I wonder if any of these slavers have some .32 ammo on them...?'

Once the potions and chems had taken their full effect, Lucky got back to his feet in full, and looked at Techno.

"Thanks mate, don't know where my ass'd be without ya!"

The griffon slaver lifted the 10mm submachine gun, aiming straight at Lightning, and about to unleash a torrent of bullets, but as he was squeezing the trigger, Ashen came soaring through the sky and crashed straight into him. The gun flew from his talons, and the two landed hard. The griffon was utterly destroyed by the impact. Every bone in his body had broken, and the impact had killed him instantly. Ashen fared quite better in comparison, he was lucky to have the griffon break his fall.

The lancer came face to face with Starry's grenade, and he desperately tried to turn around to shield his face before the grenade detonated. He was too late, and the impact of the blast sent his helmet flying from his shrapnel-filled skull. The blast also fractured his lance, splitting it into two peices.

The slaver behind the wagon didn't manage to make a dent either. He had barely started reloading when he noticed four disembodied hooves coming his way, as well as a pegasus flying in fast. He tried to focus on reloading the weapon, but Lightning had already pumped him full of lead before he could point the weapon. Shutter had quickly come in to seal the deal, and the slaver fell to the floor, dead.

//That concludes this specific battle, everypony who participated is no longer confined to taking turns, so chat away as we lick our wounds.

Lightning didn't let up on the trigger as the bullets from his gun combined with the attack from Shutter finished him off. Panting heavily, he would scan his surroundings to see that the rest of the slavers was down before re-holstering his weapon. Lightning would fly in a circle around the team as a victory lap and to make double sure that there wasn't going to be anypony else trying to jump them. Eyeing the dead slavers from the sky, he muttered to himself, "Good riddance."

Noticing the dead griffon's body had another pony laying on top of him, Lightning flew over quickly, lowering his speed and coming in for a careful landing on his three good hooves. He tilted his head slightly as he didn't recognize this pony and he wasn't even sure where he came from. But still, Lightning could see that he was seriously injured and decided to help him so he yelled out, "Medic! I need help over here!"

Roid Raid gutted the first guard, swinging his head and throwing corpse far away, he pushed the other on the ground.

He screamed and cried as Roid's Brass Hoof pressed down and crushed his puny skull.

He turned to well-suited pony.

"YEAHHHH!!!!" Roid's fury drove him forward, chopping his teeth onto the pony's chest but not taking into account the Kevlar underneath...

*BAM* a dragon tackled Roid throwing him off the mayor, and driving a few yards away, nearly knocking him over but not quite.

Roid hated Dragons, all dragons, every dragon, every time, all the times.

Hate all the dragons his friends once told him.

Roid looked at the dragon, he was big, but Roid was huge for a pony,

Roid lept forward and spun around

Roaring in in rage "YEAHHH!!!!!!"

Shutter would eject the spent stealthbuck chip onto the Slaver's corpse, before strapping his pistol back to his side.

"...Good riddance..."
He muttered, before frisking him down for whatever remained of his ammo, and taking the hunting rifle in his mouth. There was no way he could wield something of this size, but maybe someone else in the party could manage it?

He quickly began trotting over to the rest of the group, but stopped when he heard Lightning call out for a medic, looking over only to see another pony on top of the Griffon, one that didn't look like a slaver.

"Oh c'ap!"
Shutter said through the hunting rifle, as he galloped over towards Lightning, spitting out the rifle next to the body.

"Damn...is he still alive? How did he even get here?!"

"YEAHHHHH!!!!!" Cross stood there wide-eyed as Roid brutally killed the bodyguards.....he would have to deal with this specific piece of shit himself when the time came......

*BAM*

A dragon tackled down Roid of the mayor, smoke puffed from Cross's mask as it dawned on him.

Cross knew this dragon, even respected him. Theres been more than one situation where Sparkfire saved him from loads of pain

Roid took the hit but in his chemed up state it sure wasn't anywhere near enough to take him down. He got right back up and Roared in the dragon's face.

Cross didn't even see it coming when he went right up and bucked the dragon in the head.

The dragon stood there, stunned...maybe for only a moment....but that was all Cross needed.

*FLASH* He was now on the dragon's back.

"Why hey there Sparky!! funny to see you here! It look like Roid gave you quite a buckin!!" Cross horn emmitted a small glow, and a small round object floated out of his cloak.

(Action begins here)

"Well I know your stomach is built to withstand fire but this little ole party grenade here should certainly take you down a notch with some knockout gas huh? maybe give you nice tummy ache so you can sleep it off..." Cross pulled the pin and then let out his familiar wail, his laugh behind the voice modulator


"Now...would you kindly..."

Sparkfire began shaking, trying to escape the hold on his head, coming out of his daze.

"....Open Wide?!?!?"

Lucky was experiencing a peculiar anomaly.

He couldn't feel.

He could move, and talk, and breath, and walk, but he couldn't feel any of it.

'Holy shit, what's going on?' Lucky thought to himself. Why the fuck can't I... Hello, Mr. dead slaver guy. What a nice hunting rifle you had, I wonder if you have any bullets for it...?'

Quickly losing interest in his addled senses, Lucky trotted over to the corpse and began searching all the nooks and crannies of it's outfit. A humongous grin stretched across his inebriated face when he found a small box of .32 bullets in a hidden sleeve. He opened the box and counted out thirty-seven bullets.

"Jackpot!"

Starry gazed around the battlefield, checking to confirm that their battle had ended. "Oh yeah!" shouted Starry, as she jumped out of the trench and cantered over to the armored slaver's corpse. "That was AWESOME! Did you guys see my missile? That explosion was great! It didn't hit anything, but still!"

Starry lifted the lancer's metal helmet off the ground, and placed it over her head as she spoke, "and then that griffon started shooting in the trenches, and I totally thought we were dead. My missle launcher took some shots, but it's still working. Speaking of which, how's your flank, Techno? I noticed you got shot, that totally sucks! Still fun?"

Starry inspected the lance, which had been broken, unfortunately. She would eventually do something with the armor, but that would take quite a while to fit on. She trotted over toward Ashen, where everypony seemed to be gathering. She kept talking. "And then Lucky jumped out of that trench and I was like, 'that's a bad idea!' and then you got all shot up by that slaver. That was a bad idea. Oh, and then there was Shutter, he was all sneakin' up up slavers and stuff! That was cool!"

He tried moving his head from side to side as the small object floated closer toward his open mouth, but Cross's telekinetic grip was just too strong.

Spark Fire could feel the oblong vial trying to push past his tongue. He struggled and squirmed, as he fought a losing battle. Eventually his tongue would be outmaneuvered or get tired while Cross just had to keep concentrating. He did not know what Cross had meant by Party Grenade, but he knew he did not want to swallow it and setting aflame seemed like a worse idea this close to his face...

He could feel the vial crack from the mini-wrestling match going on in his mouth. He struggled to keep his wits about him as his vision doubled, then tripled... his head spun, as he felt the worst case of vertigo. He focused his thoughts and worked as hard as he could, to force that grenade out of his mouth.
