The second the blue light shone on the group, a slight survival instinct triggered in Shutter, and he quickly slipped behind a line of seats, dropping into a stealthier position as he watched what happened.

He let out a light gasp at what happened to the Mare, but aside from that, he kept quiet, as he watched a Splicer suddenly appear with what looked to him almost like an odd camera...

Shutter felt absolutely sick to his stomach as they then started taking...pictures of the remains. This sick freak actually thought this was art? No...NO! Luna damn it, NO!! Somepony had just been murdered right there, and now the sick fuck who just did so was filming it?! All of a sudden, the slight panic Shutter had felt, turned into white hot rage!! This was not going to stand, and he had to do something!

From his position, he drew his pistol, and tried to line up a shot from is hiding place...he didn't need to kill...he just wanted to hurt them as bad as he could in this first shot. He prayed that his aim would be true, for once...

Lightning watched the group complete their deal with the Agents and allowed Winter and the filly to go with them. The idea of not having a medic nearby if something bad happened wasn't very pleasant to Lightning but he wasn't about to argue with the others.

As he fell back in line behind Trails, taking a position closer to the front, he winced a little when he was hit by the blue light. Looking down at the stage, he could see the mare. Talking to somepony...or more like yelling. The next thing that happened made Lightning frown with disgust. Killing the mare right there and then going out to take pictures?! What kind of pony would do such a thing? The feeling of disgust slowly began turning into feelings of hate as he began to seriously dislike this place.

Looking back at the group for a split second, he decided that stealth was the better option in this situation. Lightning would quickly drop behind a row of seats, taking out his hunting rifle. Perhaps he could snipe off some targets if needed. Using the chair in front of him as a rest, the pegasus would peer down the scope to the stage, trying to shake off the raving blue light that surrounded them. If any targets presented themselves, he would be ready to take them out.

Ale fallowed the group down the hall, he wanted to finish this job and get some information from the agents as fast as possible, he was tired of being in the dark both figuratively and litteraly. Luckely his eyes were always overly sensative to darkness (Luna sight perk) and making his way trough the dark halls was no problem for him.

As the group emerged from the darkness ale found himself bathed in a soothing blue light. He looked past the group to see a mare sewing dresses on a stage. Ale didden't know what it was, mabey the calming light in combination with the music, but his hangover finnaly seemed to be passing. At that very moment an explosion rang out sending the mare vilently and messily around the stage while simultaneously bringing ale's hangover back in flash.

Looking up Ale could see a stallion actually taking pictures of the gorey mess and complaining about it like he'd just used the wrong color on a painting. Seeing this horrid display ale unholstered his .357 and took careful aim at the sicko's head before leting out two shots, one to kill this monster and the other just in case.

Ignore it Sketch...ignore it...you can't help her now...best to remain...quiet...what in Tartarus are those two doing?! thought Sketch.

"Are you both insane-" began Rough Sketch as he ducked behind one of the chairs (Sneak 23).

But he was too late. Ginger Ale had already let off two shots, though Shutter had not yet fired. Had he been a moment quicker he would have pleaded for them to not open fire. It was obvious that someone was watching - someone dangerous.

This...Photo, as the mare had said. He wasn't in a rush to meet him and slaying this Splicer in the open (there were bound to be more...) was a horrible idea.

Ashen ducked behind the chairs with the others as they entered the room. His expression indifferent to all the horrifying statues and the murder of the mare that was onstage. He peered over the chair at the splicer taking pictures of the grotesque display of...’art’. He was fully prepared to vaporize the splicer, not because of what she did, but because he knew that she’d most likely try to do the same to them or something similar, she was a threat that had to be taken out. However, he would of recommended a more well planned attack rather than just aiming and firing like Shutter and Ginger Ale just did. He didn’t sigh or groan in exasperation though, he merely upholstered his rifle and took aim, firing at the splicer himself if the two others didn’t kill her themselves with their shots. Might as well make sure the photographer goes down.

Petal Shard watched the scene unfold before her, flinching at the unexpected explosion. She watched the misshapen creature crawl onto the area where the mare’s remains had been sprayed across the floor, “ok...” she muttered as she watched the thing photograph the explosion’s effects on the mare’s body. Situation:...um....um....oh I don’t know, just shoot the damn thing!

Petal Shard extracted her 9mm and pointed it at the thing scuttling about the blast sight.

Trails was pissed now. Not just because Ale had been thick enough to expose their position without knowing anything about the potential threats in the room, nor because everyone decided that one splicer needed at least a clip in them to go down, nor because that innocent mare had been blown up for no reason. He was pissed because of all three of those factors, and he knew shit was about to hit the fan. These ponies needed reigning in, right fucking now, or this skirmish would end with them all dead. They weren't a cohesive unit, they were a bunch of wastelanders playing soldier. This had to stop, ASAP.

"Hold your fucking fire." Trails roared. "Rather than wasting ammo on one bastard, let's try and set up some fields of fucking fire. Everypony form up on me in a semicircle." He knocked over chairs into a makeshift barricade, rapid dominance wasn't an option, so it was time to play aggressive defense. "Ale take up the right, Ashen you back him up. Blueprint, you and Flash take the left. Shutter you and Red take up the slack as best you can. I'll keep the middle." Trails cocked his repeater and set the barrel on the barricade for support, ready for whatever was coming.

There was no body left of the splicer once the total fire of the group had taken him out, all that was left was a bloody mess, even worse than the killed mare.

"Yesss! Too mach blood!" A bright light that was aiming at the stage suddenly turned towards the group....

"YESSSSSSSS! now together....." The lights shut off, leaving the group in darkness...

"We shall make!!!" A metal case seemingly fell from above and hit Shutter on the head.

    "THEE MAGICKS!!!!"

The normal, non-modeling lights flickered on....and from every corner of the room stood enemies staring at the group, grinning....some even slowly creeping towards the group on the ceiling....The group was now surrounded..

    Enemies:
    -6 Leadhead splicers (x2 with .357's. x3 with 9mm machine guns, 1x single shotgun)
    -6 Splicers (x6 lead pipes)
    -3 spider splicers

With Shutter and Ale both shooting at one target, the stealth element of the entire operation was gone in a split second. As Trails kicked down the chairs to form themselves a crude but necessary barricade, Lightning didn't waste time moving to the left side, setting his hunting rifle on the chair for support. In his mind, he was screaming swears at the ponies who decided to shoot before thinking. Mainly Shutter and Ale.

Peering down the scope, the pegasus began to think about the threat levels of each of the incoming enemies. First things first. Got to get rid of the 9mm machine gunners and the shotgun before he got too close. Aiming for the torso of his targets, Lightning would release two shots, one for each pony.

...idiots... was the sole thought running through Sketch's head as he took his position beside Lightning, bringing his .357 to bear on one of the splicers ahead of him, letting off a pair of shots at its torso.

[Guns 35, firing at Melee Splicer (x2)]

He also took the freedom of glancing upwards, and hoping that Lightning would cut down the Splicers splitting lead at them, ducked down behind the chair and fired upwards, at one of the sickening, multi-legged creatures skittering along the ceiling.

[Ducks behind light cover, partially obscured from Splicers ahead]

Trails let the white noise of the battlefield become a faint buzz as he focused on the enemies in front of him. They were outnumbered, severely. They weren't outgunned though, and as weak as their position was it was still a superior one. Methodical timing was best he decided. Focused fire was best fire.

Trails zeroed in on the splicer with a shotgun, that could tear apart their position easily when they closed the distance. They had to die. Trails reloaded the three rounds he had fired at the giant splicer before taking aim. Two to the chest one at the head, just like clockwork.

Ale was pleased at the result of the concitrated fire, the stallion with the camera was just a smear on the wall. What came next was a relization to ale, because his hot headedness just brought a world of trouble down on the group.

Listening to trail's order he took the right flank and ducked behind a row of chairs. Peeking out of cover he saw a whole pirade of hostils comming up the ally towards the groups position but what was more surprising was that three of then were crawling across the ceiling. Ale saw the latter group to be the bigger threat, as they could easaly bypass his cover if left alone. Taking aim at the crawling horrors he let off tree shots, one for each splicer, hopeing if he coulden't kill them he could at least cause them to drop down into the others line of fire.

As the group departed Winter allowed the agents to lead her back into their territory. She made sure Sunny was close by at all times and the filly seemed more then happy to do this without being asked. She couldn't pretend she wasn't a little afraid of being alone in this strange place but she honestly couldn't being herself to leave the filly by herself. If something had happened to her she would never forgive herself for it. They were lead to a hotel which was heavily guarded by more of the ponies that wore suits. It seemed the area was quite well looked after as it was also completely absent of those mutated things she saw earlier.

She and Sunny was led into the hotel and off towards an elevator. She didn't speak nor question but the lead agent seemed to be dropping them off here. Without a word he turned and left, leaving her to ascend the floors as the doors closed. When they arrived they seemed to be at an office of some sort. Winter trotted forward, followed closely by Sunny before they noticed the pony sitting behind the desk in front of them. He got up and made himself a drink, offering one to them which she declined politely. "Sorry, I don't drink.. and neither does she" she said as she looked down at the young filly. He introduced himself and Agent Awesome and she nodded before giving her own name, "My name is Winter Bell and this is Sunny Teardrop" she said, motioning to the filly. She waited a moment before speaking, "I.. have to admit I don't really know what we're doing here.. I'm.. we're not from around here" she said honestly.

Petal Shard scowled, “why does everypony think I’m red?” she grumbled as she took up her position in the semicircle. She glanced around expecting to see enemies coming to investigate what had happened but there was a disturbing moment of stillness before that light shined on the group and the rest of the lights had went out. After some insane rambling from some unseen pony the lights came back on and several hostiles had taken up positions around the group, “that isn’t possible...” she said with an exasperated tone as the others began opening fire.

Petal Shard fired her 9mm at the nearest enemy, a ragged looking thing with a pipe.

If the sudden appearance of multiple enemies surrounding the group did anything to shock or deter Ashen, he certainly didn’t show it. (And here’s a hint, it didn’t) Instead, he calmly but swiftly took cover next to Ale, the sights of his rifle lining up on one of the splicers with a 9mm SMG. He telekinetically squeezed the trigger, sending burning beams of crimson light screaming towards the mutated pony. If he managed to take down the splicer in one or two hits, he’d re-adjust his aim and fire on another smg-welding splicer.

Shutter would be lying if he said he wasn't frustrated witht eh fact that the entire group had decided to take a shot at his target, ruining any potential stealth, but also wasting a shitload of ammo, and he only grew angrier when the voice then focused on them. However, his attention would be distracted slightly when the metal case fell on him. For a second, he ducked down, behind the chairs in cover, to open it up. Maybe he would have gotten lucky, and there was a weapon in there they could use?

    It was a camera.

The bitch had seen his cutie mark, and apparantly expected him to start taking pictures...

Shutter was tempted to put a bullet through the device right now, but something stopped him. The camera seemed...odd, and it might be worth having a unicorn like Winter examine it later, so he shut it back in the case. But right now? He was going to shoot as many splicers as he could, and then he was going to hunt that monster down.

Aiming his .45, Shutter took a shot at the nearest Gun-wielding Splicer, figuring they were the most likely issue.

The team didn't have long ...in the dim model room, everything happened in an instance... the team attempted to open fire back on the enemies but the screaming shifting horde dodged too quickly and easily ignored the small arms fire that did manage to make it through....

Petal shard managed to get a round off into a splicer that carried a pipe, but that only seemed to make him angrier ...almost insulted that she was trying to use a 9mm....

Flash and Trails were pushed about in the confusion and their focus destroyed their aim, not a single shot they made landed on their intended targets.

Rough and Ginger however, managed to do a little better, they manage to shoot down one of the spider splicers which fell to the floor and remained there in painful spasms...

Ashen managed to get a nice shot and torch a splicer that had a 9mm smg in the face, he dropped his gun and brought his hoofhands to his face. Screaming as he tried running away but there was no exit in the room in the moment so he dropped to the floor and began crying.

Shutter, the little pony who thought he could, ...let the world melt away as he took aim at the splicer with the shotgun, watching everything in a nearly slow motion as the horde took its first lunge....The shotgunner's gritty face revealed extensive Arcana augmentation, eyes burrowed in red glare behind a goat mask... Shutter pulled the trigger and the .45 round went straight into the splicer's skull and his head exploded in a gory fashion, taking out the splicer's leadership with a single bullet.

Only if they had all been so lucky....

(OOC, please mark every action you repeat by x2, or x3, otherwise I'll assume your only shooting once from now on)

After their ally got hit down, the other two splicers lunged but they had done so too early ....both of them were outside the teams cover and crotched, preparing for another lunge the next time any of the ponies peeked their heads out to fire.

The leadhead splicer's aim weren't all that much better, from the two with .357's they only managed to hit once, a round in Flash's left hindleg, it was a flesh wound, but could quite hinder him nonetheless...

The one splicer pony that had a 9mm smg did wonderfully, sending several rounds into Trail's shoulder as he was shooting, throwing him back against the floor within their position. His left shoulder appeared torn at the muscles to a minor degree. That leg wasn't doing anything for awhile.... not to mention the bleeding.

As soon as the shots rang out, the splicers armed for melee lunged forward, waving their weapons in fury, most of them managed to reach the group's jury-rigged cover, and were right about to assault the group, delayed by the time it took to cross the floor, but 'Knight' could nonetheless already gaze deep into their eyes and even under the masks, their ugliness and rotten expressions laughed and roared at knight in a mix of giddiness and anger. Worst yet was the smell

    The smell of dead fish.

Lightning frowned as both of his shots missed horribly. Trying to line up for another shot, he aimed for another splicer that had a gun before suddenly, a burning sensation hit him hard. Looking back at his leg, he could tell that he was hit. But it didn't look too bad. Just hurt like hell. Long distance shooting was going to be useless very soon. Most of the splicers with melee weapons were already on top of them and were about to destroy their defensive position. Looking back at the others, he saw Trails get hit and get knocked down. This was not going as well at all.

It was time to step up and actually deal some damage. Laying his hunting rifle on the ground, Lightning would pull out his 10mm SMG. The melee splicers were getting too close. Time to push them back. Pulling the trigger, he would spray across their lines, not caring about how much ammo he was using up at the moment.

Trails ignored the pain in his shoulder and got back into position. It was only a foals gun that had him, frankly a lucky shot that it had gotten through his equestrian armor. Trails didn't have to aim at this close of range, he started firing at the pipe wielding splicers as they began to pick apart his make shift barricade. He fired at four of them.

Petal Shard sighed at the lack of effect her shots had had on the enemy but she had expected there to be little damage. She briefly considered attempting to escape, had she any flying ability she would have, but as it was there were no immediate exits available the would provide an acceptable probability of escape. She glanced around the area looking for the most immediate thread and concluded that any target would do.

Ale smerked as the last shot in his revolver managed to drop one of the crawling splicers, he looked to see the pony bleeding and spazing ond the ground he knew it would be dead in a few minutes, now ale just had to make sure he wasen't dead in a few minutes either.

Ale ducked behind cover to reload his new revolver, the gun was awkward to reload but ale knew a trick to make it go smoother, tilting the .357 at an angle he let gravity remove the spent caseings as he loaded a freash round into each vacent cylinder.

As ale finished feeding his revolver the pipe wealding splicers hit the groups cover and begain to smash it to bits. He took a step back to avoid being hit and singled out two of the splicers for .357 brain surgery.

Shutter didn't have time to celebrate a well-aimed shot, his own rage still burning bright, as he quickly dropped back behind cover and checked his magazine. Satisfied that the clip should see him through, he jammed the grip back into his mouth and wrapped his tongue around the trigger, as he resumed his mission, seeing several of the melee attackers getting too close to the barricade.

Without hesitation, he aimed his pistol and fired two rounds at the closest attacker.

Ashen glanced over the charging Melee splicers, prioritizing them and shifting his aim. He knew he had only mere moments to do something about them, and acted quickly. First, he reached out with his magic and gripped the pipes of two of the splicers, before doing his best to yank them away from the mutated ponies and fling them far away from the battle. Regardless if this was successful, or not, he’d then quickly shift his aim to another splicer, lining his head down the sights of the prism rifle and blasting him in the face.

Flash fired into the group of advancing melee splicers, intending to put them down for good. The two that flanked the middle splicer jumped to the side, evading the shots as they passed by. The middle splicer also made his move, dancing away form the spray, suffering a minor graze across it's skin.

Trails took aim with his repeater, his mind focused and his movements precise. He fired, the end of the repeater exploding as the bullet smashed against the splicers face ripping it's head apart and leaving the body to slump on the floor in a heap of flesh. His following shots however were not so aggressive as they narrowly missed their targets.

Petal shard brought her 9mm to bare as she fired three shots at an advancing pipe wielding splicer. Two of her shots made clean entry into it's stomach, slowing it but not killing it entirely as it roared in reply, making it's way closer but slower.

Ginger Ale fired his 357 magnum twice intending to drop these creatures once and for all, but unfortunately the splicers had foreseen his move and dived away to avoid his gun fire.

Sketch fired two shots at a pipe wielding splicer in hopes of laying another dead creature before him. While one of his shots slashed through the splicers arm making it drop the pipe the other grazed by it's leg, missing as the splicer turned to run, screaming in pain and panic.

Shutter took aim as he prepared his weapon of death. His eyes narrowed, his face bearing the stare of death into his opponent as he fired two shots both nailing the splicer's head dead center stopping it in its tracks. The body of the splicer fell aside as life fluid drained from it's skull. The display terrified a nearby splicer, sending it into a turn tail gallop away from the group.

Ashen summoned his magic as he attempted to rip the weapons away from two of the crazed creatures. One of them was taken off guard as the pipe was whipped away from his grasp like taking candy from a foal. The other splicer however tightened his grip, pulling hard as he refused to relinquish his weapon. Ashen leveled his his Prism Rifle, his mind focusing in on his targets cranium as he delicately pulled the trigger. The splicer screamed as the shot connected with it's face, it's body glowing and becoming light as it crumbled into nothing more then dust.

(OOC: Please remember to put what gun you're using and who and what you're firing at... pretty please ^^)

The Splicers remaining continued their assault as they swung weapons and tried to hack apart the group.

After seeing their comrade get vaporized, two splicers disengaged from their attacks and focused on Ashen, swinging wildly at him the other side of the cover. A well aim swing managed to catch Ashen in the side but the blow wasn't strong enough to cause any real amount of damage.

The splicers left who carried projectile weapons began aiming for Shutter and Trails after seeing their display towards their 'friends'. With angry shouts they began unloading shots in their direction. This was by no intention to suppress them as their anger fueled them, clouding their minds as they wanted death upon these ponies. A stray shot broke the barrier deflecting off Shutter's gun, missing him by mere inches.

The rest of them who weren't dead, dying or running picked up in aggression and desperation as they sought revenge for their fallen, calling out profanity and dislike in kind.
