Lost Caravan

Petal Shard was still slightly rattled from the radhog attack and wasn't really paying attention to whatever was going on around the general area, then she noticed one of the other ponies signal, "more trouble..." Petal grumbled quietly to herself as she readied her pistol and sank low to the ground. Petal decided not to move from the spot she was in, instead waiting to see what happened next.

Blitz followed the others after stripping some meat from the more or less intact radhog, finding something to wrap the meat in before setting it in his saddlebags.

Reaching the point where they could hear voices, Blitz stopped and looked to the others, taking a slightly crouched position as he was ready for a brawl. He looked at the hill with a grin. "I get the feeling whoever these lot are, they wont be going quietly, and they wont even bother to talk. So you know what I think?" Blitz started, glancing to the others. Some would already know of his rather reckless plans, and they wouldn't like the fact that he was thinking.

"I say we barrel down the hill to say hello, scare the ever-loving buck out of them and kick their asses." He then said, it was definitely not one of his most reckless plans, but it could easily end badly.

I heard voiced.... Voices ment either friendlies or enemies.... i heard the red and violet ponies' plan.... I liked it.... "I agree with the charging plan...."

Spectrum was among the first to hear the words , it becoming ever apparent that they were the ones that had taken the caravan. Along with Mona she crept forward, keeping low and hidden and while she didn't have a scope for seeing her eyes did their own justice alone.

She looked back at Blitz not having any real quarrel with his plan, after all they were saving an inanimate object not ponies, but she still didn't approve of the method keeping her voice hushed she spoke to the Unicorn "Charging us rather worked for those rad hods didn't it? we got to suprise and dumb-found them, don't want to end up using the materials we came to get"

As Mona peaked over the hill, she could see the group of ponies on the other side. Judging by they way they were dressed, they were obviously raiders. Thankfully for the search and rescue party though, these raiders were rather lightly armed, some of them only having pistols with the exception of a couple of them having an SMG and one having a shotgun. If Mona counted, she would be able to count 7 ponies. Two pairs of ponies were carrying trunks and they could only guess of what is inside those trunks.

Suddenly, one of the raiders would turn towards the rescue group, the sound of the others talking accidently giving them away. The raider male would yell, "We got company!" and drawing out his 10mm pistol. The others dropped the trucks on the ground and quickly drew out their respective weapons, turning to the hill and almost immediately began opening fire.

The second the raiders were in sight, Mona took notice of their weapons, specifically the two SMGs and the Shotgun.

Now there's a weapon I could use...going to have to claim that 10mm SMG when this is over with.

She thought to herself, as she started lining up a shot...only for one of the raiders to then turn around and spot her.
The second they started firing, Mona didn't waste a second. She had already had her rifle ready so she could examine them with the scope, and she took aim, firing two shots.

(Firing Borrowed Hunting Rifle twice at 10mm SMG Raider, 32 AP, If Raider dies to the first shot, changing targets to Shotgun Raider for the second.)

Blitz heard the yelling on the other side of the hill and grinned. "Everypony, round the hill while they're distracted by Mona." He quietly said, drawing out his pistol and knife and gesturing with the jerk of his head to tell the others to follow him. "Some of you, go round the other side, we'll shoot from both sides and freak 'em out!" He followed up with, still quiet.

He was quite until the raiders came into view though, grinning widely before firing off several rounds towards the raiders with the 10mm pistols. "That's Stableton property, you bucked up arseholes!" He yelled, expecting the others to join in the fire-fight as he stood there and fired at them.

Spectrum couldn't help but feel a tiny bit responsible for there cover being blown but right now wasn't the time to be regretting that now. Spectrum shot off in the opposite direction of Bliz. Drawing out the 10 mm pistol she had borrowed from Flash and began to open fire on the slavers. Making sure to stay alert and light on her hoofs not liking the the looks of the shot gun one Raider had in his possession. Right now she just hoped that spreading apart would be beneficial to the party rather than make it easier for then to be picked off one by one.

Petal sighed as the fighting started, "of course" she groaned as she weighed her options. Petal glanced around the general area and decided the best course of action was to get out of the line of finer before she got shot in the head or something.

With another sigh Petal spread her wings and took to the air, flying at a forty-five degree angle away from the ensuing fire fight.

"Raiders just great." Kira sighed she hated to fight these ponies that had been turned mad buy the wasteland but what could she do it was not like they gave her a choice in the matter. The gryphoness was quick to turn and changed at the raider with the shotgun with look the raider would miss her as she came running at him, she would do what she usually did when she came close to anyone she wanted dead go for the throat.

(Attack Raider #5 with bladed claws 4 time and dodge any counter attack made.)

"Yeaah!" Coin yelled seeing action unfurl before his eyes! He saw the shotgun pony and the two ponies with SMGs I do need a better killing device.... i should take the shotgun and one of the SMGs.... yeah i'll be kicken' arse with those beauties!

Firing All Shots At Shotgun Pony(8 AP)

The second bullets began to fly, the heroic rescue ponies all leaped into action. Petal Shard decided that it was best for her to leave the action before any harm came to herself. However, that didn't stop the raiders try and take shots at the fleeing pegasus. One shot would whiz extremely close to Petal's face, just barely missing her. Two more shots though would fly up and hit their mark, nailing Petal in the flank.

Next was Spectrum, being one of the first to react, had the 10mm she borrowed from Lightning back in Stableton, drawn and ready. Spreading out had helped her chances of getting shot go down but it did mean that she would be on the move for the first few shots. That didn't seem to deter her, however, as right when a raider with a 10mm pistol drawn his gun and put Mona right into his sights, Spectrum fired 7 rounds, 6 out of 7 finding their home in the raider's chest before a final shot hitting the pony in the head and killing him.

Coin Flip, running out of cover, was quick to get his gun up and deliver a hailstorm of 9mm bullets at the raider with the shotgun. The shots hit the raider with deadly accuracy, one shot hitting extremely close to his throat and causing considerable amount of damage to the stallion. However, he wasn't dead and he was still up and fighting. The raider fired his shotgun once in blind rage, the buckshot spreading toward Blitz but it spread just enough that Blitz did get hit but didn't take too badly of a hit.

Meanwhile, Coin's foolish decision to come out of cover would soon come back to bite him in the tail. The pony armed with a powerful 10mm SMG saw his chance and fired a total of three bursts, each 10mm bullet ripping through Coin Flip. Kira, then, took the opportunity the chaos gave her and leaped toward the shotgun-wielding pony just as he was attempting to reload for another shot. With her bladed claws, she would rip the raider apart, with him screaming in pain before letting his last poisonous breath in the wasteland.

The great mercenary pony, Mona Tones, cannot be forgotten though, as despite her skills in automatic weaponry instead of a bolt action hunting rifle, one cannot say she isn't skilled in it. With the 10mm pony distracted at shooting at Coin and with Spectrum's cover fire helping eliminate the raider about to shoot Mona, the purple unicorn put two highly accurate shots into her target. One shot ripping through the pony's shoulder and the other shot ripping straight into his internal organs. The shot was so good that the raider she hit literally was knocked to the side a couple feet before collasping in a pool of blood and pain.

Blitz, leaping out of cover just like Coin Flip and some others, was about to deal death just like the others. However, his gun had other plans. His 9mm pistol simply decided, 'You know what? I'm not going to work,' and gave out an audiable, "Click!" when the gun misfired and jammed. Just too bad too as Coin Flip really wasn't have much luck on his side. A raider with a 9mm SMG decided that Coin Flip simply did not have enough lead in him and unloaded more bursts at him. Two of those bursts would hit Coin, imbedding themselves in his body.


Raider 1, 2, 3, and 6 are unharmed.

Raider 4 is disabled but alive.

Raider 7 is dead.

Coin Flip has taken 163 damage total. 27 HP left.

Petal Shard has taken 14 damage. 211 left.

Blitz has taken 25 damage. 247 left.

Spectrum's quick eye caught a raider taking aim at Mona. Either it be luck on her side or the fact that adrenalin was rushing through her body from this all new experience that made the mare fight rather than just run she had quickly dispatched of the raider before he had gotten a chance to harm Mona. But there was little time to rejoyce nor to take in the feelings of having just killed a pony, Spectrum quickly scanned over taking a raider head count before moving onto the next one trying to end the conflict as quickly as possible

Kira looked to the other raiders as the once she had just shredded with her talons was breathing heavy and was slowly drowning in his own blood, one a target was down she had to move on to the next no time for mercy kills they would not do the same for them. The gryphoness quickly pulled out a frag grenade and threw it two raiders that was bunched up before she moved on to attack another raider with her talons once again.

Mona let out a mental curse as she saw Blitz and Coin be riddled with bullets, Coin clearly taking the brunt of the blast.

Celestia-damned fools, jumping out of cover like that...I'd better make sure the shotgun dosn't finish the job the others started...

Quickly, she readied the rifle once more, firing another two rounds into the fray.

(Firing two rounds from the Rifle at Raider #5, 32 AP, if #5 is killed by the first shot, switch to whatever target is closest to Blitz and Coin Flip)

Blitz frowned as the 9mm pistol of his failed to do just about anything to the raiders before them, just for a brief spattering of buckshot to hit him and cause the buck to give a dangerous growl and put his 9mm away, he could deal with that later.

Kira, the griffon, was throwing a grenade at one of the raiders and Blitz grinned widely, waiting for the grenade to go off before he'd move in to finish off the pony, depending on whether it caused damage or not.

Moving in quickly and aiming for one of the raiders with an SMG, Blitz would make several swipes and jabs with his horn, mixed with hoof-punches to maximize the damage he could deal.

Having bin shot.. well... Alot. Coin wasn't feeling too well, on the ground he raises his 9mm handgun and fires as many times as he can at the raider-pony wielding the shotgun, wanting to atleast have One kill out of this battle.
