ROLES
Not all roles will be included in the game.
TOWN
Bodyguard: If a player the Bodyguard selected at night is attacked, the Bodyguard and the attacker die instead of the person being protected. This ability ignores the attacker’s invulnerability, and the bodyguard cannot be healed if they are killed through the use of their ability.
Investigation result: Bodyguard, Escort, or Consort.
Bus Driver: Has the ability to swap the positions of two players each night; night actions that target one of the swapped players will be redirected to the other one. The Bus Driver may target himself.
Investigation result: Arsonist or Bus Driver
Coroner: Has the ability to view the roles of dead players. The Coroner can see every person their target has visited throughout the game.
Investigation result: Coroner or Janitor
Detective: This role has the ability to track one person's activity each night.
Investigation result: Detective, Lookout or Framer
Doctor: Can heal their target, preventing them from being killed or being converted by the cult that night.
Investigation result: Doctor or Serial Killer
Escort: Has the ability to role-block a target at night, preventing them from using their night ability.
Investigation result: Bodyguard, Escort or Consort
Investigator: Can investigate a player at night, revealing a clue pertaining to their role.
Investigation result: Consigliere or Investigator
Jailor: Has the ability to jail and role-block one player each night. The Jailor can speak anonymously with the jailed person at night, and optionally execute them. The jailor must choose their target during the day, and cannot jail if someone has been lynched. Execute ignores invulnerability. The jailor can make two executions. The jailor’s target gains night immunity the turn that they are jailed.
Investigation result: Jailor or Vigilante or Mafioso
Lookout: This role has the ability to see who visited their target at night. The lookout does not die if they visit the veteran.
Investigation result: Detective, Lookout or Framer
Mason: Knows the identity of other Masons.
Investigation result: Mason or Cultist
Mayor: Has the ability to reveal their role at any point during the day. Once the mayor reveals their role, their lynch vote counts as 4. The mayor loses these votes if converted by the cult. Once the Mayor reveals themselves, they cannot be healed by a doctor.
Investigation result: Mayor or Godfather
Sheriff: Has the ability to check the innocence of a player at night.
Investigation result: Sheriff or Executioner
Spy: The Spy can see who the mafia visits at night.
Investigation result: Jester Spy or Godfather
Veteran: Automatically kills any player who targets him if the Veteran goes on alert. The Veteran can go on alert three times. The Veteran cannot be killed while on alert. The veteran cannot kill lookouts, Amnesiacs, Coroners, or Janitors, even if a Witch makes them visit the veteran. If the Veteran chooses not to go on alert, and the Witch controls him, then the Veteran's ability will activate and the Witch will die. Veterans cannot be role-blocked unless jailed by a Jailor. Arsonists that doused the Veteran while not on alert will kill a veteran on alert if they decide to ignite. If a Bus Driver drives a Veteran on alert with someone, the Bus Driver will die but the targets are still switched for the night.
Investigation result: Serial Killer or Veteran
Vigilante: The Vigilante can kill one person at night. They can attempt to kill two times during the game. Vigilantes cannot kill during the first night, unless controlled by a Witch. Even if a kill attempt fails, it still contributes toward their total of two kills. The vigilante will be notified if their target is immune at night.
Investigation result: Mafioso, Vigilante or Jailor
MAFIA
Consigliere: The Consigliere is an Investigator affiliated with the Mafia. If the Godfather dies, the Consiglierie will become a Godfather.
Investigation result: Investigator or Consigliere
Consort: The Consort is an Escort affiliated with the Mafia.
Investigation result: Bodyguard, Escort or Consort
Framer: Frames their target at night. If a Sheriff investigates your target, he will appear as "a member of the Mafia". If an Investigator investigates your target, his role will appear to be one of the currently living Mafia roles or killing neutrals. The Framer will become a Mafioso if there is no Godfather or Mafioso present.
Investigation result: Detective, Lookout or Framer
Janitor: The Janitor has the ability to Sanitize a player at night; if the player dies that night then their role will not be displayed. If the player is investigated by the sheriff, they will appear to be innocent. The Janitor will learn the role of a player who dies the same night.
Investigation result: Janitor or Coroner
Godfather: The Godfather can kill one target at night. If there are Mafioso present, the Godfather’s choice is dominant. The Godfather is immune to detection. When investigated by an Investigator, they will appear to be a citizen.
Investigation result: Godfather, Spy or Jester
Mafioso: The role has the ability to suggest to kill people at night; the player that receives the highest number of suggestions will be killed by a random Mafioso that night.
Investigation result: Mafioso, Vigilante or Jailor
NEUTRAL
Amnesiac: The Amnesiac is a neutral role with the ability to take on the role of a killed player. The Amnesiac’s objective is to survive until the end of the game. If the Amnesiac takes another role, their victory objective will be replaced with their new role’s objective. If the Amnesiac takes the role from the body that has limited charges, he will inherit however many charges the role had left. If there are 0 charges left, the Amnesiac will instead have 1. The Amnesiac cannot become the Godfather, Mayor, or Consiglierie. The Amnesiac will win if alone with the Serial Killer, Witch, Arsonist, Cult, Mafia or Town.
Investigation result: Amnesiac or Witch
Arsonist: The role has the ability to douse a target in gasoline or ignite all previously doused players at night. The Arsonist wins by being the last player left standing. If the arsonist takes no action at night, they will undouse themselves. The arsonist’s attacks ignore immunity, but do not ignore healing. The arsonist is invulnerable at night.
Investigation result: Arsonist or Bus Driver
Cultist: The cult can target one player to convert into the cult once every two nights. The cult can convert on the first night. Decisions on who to convert are decided democratically, with one vote per cultist. The cult cannot convert members of the mafia. The cult include more than 1/3rd of the number of players at the beginning of the game, excluding mafia roles. The cult may convert another member for every two cultists who die. The cult wins when there are only cultists remaining. All dead cultists will win under this condition.
Investigation result: Cultist or Mason
Executioner: The executioner wins if their pre-selected target is lynched during the day. If their target is killed at night, the Executioner becomes a Jester.
Investigation result: Sheriff or Executioner
Jester: The Jester is able to annoy other players at night. The Jester only wins if they are lynched during the day.
Investigation result: Jester, Spy or Godfather
Serial Killer The Serial Killer has the ability to kill one player each night. They must be the last player remaining in the game in order to win. The Serial Killer is invulnerable at night, and kills all role-blockers who target them. If the Jailor jails a Serial Killer, but does not execute them, the Jailor will die.
Investigation result: Doctor or Serial Killer
Witch: The role has the ability to control a target at night, selecting who they use their night ability on. No matter who a Witch targets at night, if they can perform an action, they will use their action. If the Witch targets a Jailor, then the Jailor will execute their target, though it will be used on the person currently jailed. The Witch can target themselves. Their target will not know they are being manipulated. The Witch can cause a role to target themselves. Amnesiacs are immune to manipulation. The Witch wins if the town loses and the Witch is alive at the end of the game. If the Witch controls the Bus Driver, then the Witch's power applies to the Bus Driver's first target.
