Hawk Eye is an optimistic stallion, with a slightly reckless attitude, somewhat disfuntional risk assessment, and an extreme motor mouth, making it seem he doesn't have a buffer between his brain and his mouth. At the first sign of trouble, he'll often start babbling in an attempt to get whatever's attacking him to stop, whether by surrender, negotiation, or, if all else fails, running or fighting. He's not fond of killing, but isn't a stranger to it.
In social situations, Hawk doesn't always take hints or clues very well. Having almost no sense of privacy, personal space, or wanting to be alone, he will often insert himself into others convisations, whether or not he actually knows any of the ponies in the conversation, or if they're even friendly towards him. He also can't see how someone feels towards him to save his life.
==History==
Born to Bulls Eye and Rain Cloud in New Appleoosa, Hawk Eye grew up in, well, New Appleoosa, and still considers the place a home to go back to. He got his cutie mark at the age of 7, spotting a pony being attacked by some enraged wild animals some distance off and charging recklessly into battle. It didn't exactly end well for him, leaving a wing useless for a few weeks, and several long-since-faded scars.
At the age of 18, his father, Bulls Eye, asked him to carry a delivery of foodstuff to Tenpony Tower, which he agreed to. During the journey, he got into trouble, thanks to his motor mouth and recklessness, getting shot, stabbed, stung, and burned quite a few times, although there are few lasting scars. After he traded the foodstuff for caps, and spent his share on a few pieces of equipment, and trinkets, one of the merchants in Tenpony Tower asked him to deliver a parcel to Hoofington. After dropping off his fathers caps back at Appleoosa, he delivered the parcel and started marketing himself as a courier for small items.
