This is the synopsis. Our characters will be adventuring to Stable 113 from Stableton on a mission to salvage the tech that had been left behind during the evacuation. This will take place some time after the events in Battle of Stableton, in which the new mayor will recognize the necessity of higher tech for Stableton's survival.
I don't want to spoil the story too much, but when we arrive at Stable 113, we will realize that there are many who survived the disaster that erupted a year ago who never left the Stable. The Stable door will then close on us, trapping us inside. We will be forced to try and escape using minimal force, since we don't want to kill the ponies we grew up with, and while also trying to help the ponies we've lived with for all of our lives.
I was not taking recruitment into heavy consideration when I had conceived of this plot, but it occurred to me throughout it's development that a character with a stable background will have significantly more invested in this plot than a character born in the wastes. Because this is the first thread involving our stable, it is the best chance a stable pony has to expand upon their backstory, and because a stable pony might have significantly more invested in the outcome of this thread, preferential recruitment will be given to those players that have a stable pony background. I apologize to everyone who has a wasteland-born character, and I hope you understand why this is being done.
If you are interested in joining, please reply to this saying you are interested. If your character comes from the stable, please include information regarding your character, such as how popular they were in the stable, how were they regarded by the majority of the stable(somepony famous? infamous? often ignored?), what their profession was in the stable, who their parents and siblings and friends are(they may appear in the thread! Please include whether or not any of them are confirmed casualties of the violence.), what all of their jobs were, and what sort of valuable possessions you left behind in the stable, memorable events in the stable, as well as any other information you believe may be relevant. I will use this information in my designing of the stable and it's residents, so this is all very important stuff.
This thread is will not have a large focus on combat. The majority of it will depend upon non-combat skills such as sneak, persuade, science, repair, lockpick, etc.
