A little on the shy side, Leafrun is a little inclined to keep to himself when not in presence of his older brother, who he feels much more safe near. Leafrun by no means not a clever pony, he has quite the booksmarts but does not really like displaying it except on occasions where he thinks it would help other ponies. That leads to the next facet of his personality which is his kindness. Although he used to let loose and be rambunctious with his brother, Leafrun always harbored a desire to help other ponies in whatever way he can. He's good enough with computers and plants to whip up a quick fix for both the organic and cybernetic, and to be honest, he would never discriminate between the two.
==History==
Born in Friendship City, he used to live with his mother, Willow Whisper, his father, Cirrus and his older brother, Galactic Dash. He greatly enjoyed the affection his family gave him. He hardly had a single thought about what was going on beyond the walls of the city, however, this was because he was rather sheltered from it. He was always enamored with how Dash and their father were Pegasus Ponies and had wings, while he and their mother were Unicorn ponies and capable of magic. Along with his reading, Willow Whisper honed Leafrun's magical ability. Even without, however, Leafrun is quite proficient in magic despite his young age.
One fateful day, Leafrun and Dash were on their way to find some useful things to find for their ecenomically challenged family, when he and his brother were attacked by Slavers, two Zebras by the names of Nazeem and Vernth. Nazeem shot Dash in the chest, causing him to instantly fall. Leafrun believed from then on that his older brother, almost his one and only friend, was dead. Leafrun was dragged off, kicking and screaming.
A few days later, the duo and Leafrun took shelter in an abandoned bot manufacturer plant for the night. After the sun set, they were beset by rampant security machines and, spotting a console tried to have Leafrun hack it to get the bots to stop attacking. Leafrun did just that, for himself, only. He underestimated the bot's ability and he was shocked to watch them kill the two slavers with minimal effort. Not wanting, nor able, to take the rifle they had used to shoot his brother, Leafrun scavenged a 9mm pistol, though he had no idea how to use it, and some modest clothing. He then set out, lost and confused, hoping to find his way back to Friendship City, unaware that his brother was still alive and would come looking for him.
On the second day of his travels, he wandered up to a dead-looking tree. He was desperate for food and willed up as much magic as he could. Before his very eyes the tree came back to life, and sprouted new leaves, giving Leafrun much needed sustenance, un-irradiated as well. When he saw this happen, his cutie mark appeared, making clear his special talent in making plants grow in a time of need.
