==Personality==
He doesn't trust people easily, yet he is very helpful. He is overprotective of his sister, and has kept an eye on her ever since they became orphans. He is mainly a loner and will travel alone whenever he can, but if he is need he will travel in a group. He is good with magic but doesnt relye on it to save his life, he had to learn how to fight hoof to hoof due to a run in with a bunch of raiders.
==History==
He lived in New Appleloosa with his mother, father, and his sister. His parents had their own caravan and would travle alot to raise the family, but one day the caravan was attacked by raiders and his mom and dad were killed.
Him and his sister knew something was wrong when thier parents didn't come back, Dark Star knew his parents were gone, but his sister Glimering Hope didn't believe him. So one day she ran off to find their parents, and now Dark Star is out looking for her.
One day when he was out looking for his sister he was knocked unconcious by raiders, when he woke up he saw he was at a small raider camp, but he didn't know where the camp was. He looked around and saw that the raiders were a bunch of unicorns and he knew he wouldn't be able to take them all on with his magic. He had to think back to what his dad taught him, his dad taught him that in a desperiate situation he should fight with his hoofs. When Dark Star got free from the ropes he ran up to the first raider he saw and hit him in the jaw. When the other raiders saw he was free they started to use their magic against him, he had trouble dodgeing their spells but he was able to take half of them down before they caught him.
They tied hm back up and were about to kill him when one of the aiders got their head shot off, the other raiders freaked and ran away. Dark Star got the ropes untied, and left that camp as soon as he could. He never learned who saved his life, but when he found out who he would give that pony a proper thanks.
While on the search for his sister he became friends with a pony for the first time and after finding his sister they became the target of a crazied gryphon who hunted them for a while. Soon the gryphon foalnapped his sister and he ended up doing what ever he could to save her, but he was waking up a soul inside of him by using his shadow spell too much. During a fight with the gryphon he passed out and woke up in the gryphons camp and was being tortured. Upon being tortured too much the soul inside him called Death Night woke up and took control of him and ended up going to war with a army of raiders. The battle lasted a few hours and as the raiders were starting to lose a team was sent up to deal with Death Night, the battle was about to be won by Death Night but his victory was cut short when he was shot by a recharger pistol in his lower torso and his leg. Upon losing Death gave Dark control again and even though Dark was begging to be killed his only friend Ginger Ale wouldn't allow it and now thanks to some info given to him by a buffalo he can keep Death Night at bay for longer periods of time but nomatter how hard he tries he will never be able to rid himself of Death Night.
