by Sashka Sat Aug 18, 2012 6:58 pmSo I was reading the latest chapters of FoE Project Horizons and they made mention of Luna's guard, you know the grey coated fuzzy eared, bat winged guards from season 2 episode 4, well Somber added a new character, a batpony descended from Luna's guards and they are pretty sweet, Chapter 44 is the introduction and I am wondering if the site will be willing to accept these new ponies into the ranks.

Batponies at the moment are still undecided as a player race, I believe. If you wish to make one I'd probably ask Cross, seeing as he let me (Scraps) create this alt (Silent Echo), which is a batpony. Though in order to allow him to be approved I can't use the shadow teleport ability or any other abilities beyond flight, thus rendering batponies as essentially aestheticly different pegasi.

Well I just wanted it to be known that they where out there and that maybe in the future they would become their own race and get their abilities, I mean they loose out on their communication problem and never using battle saddles and such.

Although, we aren't told if all Batponies are unable to communicate. For all we know it is only Stygius and her sister, a family thing.
So unless Somber can clarify, we may not entirely know. And would base it on speculation.
(Of course unless I've missed something horrible since Stygius' arrival to going to the prison.)
