==Personality==
A childhood filled with ponies and gryphons filled with almost constant bullying could break a lot of weak willed gryphons. But not Kira. A snapshot of her personality would reveal a griffon who can come across as hot headed, stubborn, strong-willed and loyal. She doesn’t take kindly to those who would prey upon the weak and also hates sitting around doing nothing, however, when one is a walking disaster, it can be hard for other ponies to trust her to perform any task requiring more finesse than levelling a mountain side.
Despite this, she still attempts to help those around her in whatever way she can, although it really ruffles her feathers when her inability to fly is pointed out.
==History==
Born into the multi species Stable of 113, it was not long after hatching that both her parents died in a maintenance accident when one of the stables spark generators overloaded. This killed her mother instantly and mortally wounded her father. It did not take long for her father to pass on from his injuries, the very young Kira, barely out of her egg was adopted by a kind Unicorn who came to raise her as she were her own foal.
Growing up among the ponies of Stable 113 was something that she had a hard time adjusting to and it did not help when the other gryphons of the stable started to pick on her calling her names, making fun of her small size and how long it took for her to learn to actually fly. All these insults were even more humiliating for her when the Overmare gave her a job as the waste manager’s apprentice - not even a full waste manager, it wasn’t hard for the spiteful insults to become even worse, but she did her best to not let them get to her. Of course the Overmare was right to put her in such a position as she was not very good at anything and any other jobs she tried she failed miserably at, almost always ending in some kind of disaster, it was lucky that nopony actually gotten hurt.
Throughout this time it could have been worse for her if it were not for Storm Ray, another gryphon who had become a target for the stables bullies. This friendship helped her get past some of the worst days. She finally started to see him as a brother and cared about him like a sister might.
It was during one of her work shifts when the stable went to hell, being in the maintenance area was both a blessing and curse as she was far away from the fighting when it broke out, but also meant she was a long way away from the exit. It was during her escape from the stable with her only friend when her left wing was seriously injured. It happened while she fended off some of the crazed stable dwellers. With no real medical experience and only a handful of medical supplies, her wing quickly got worse after the escape from 113. The wound quickly got infected out in the wastes which forced her to use what few healing potions and other medical supplies they had to stop the infection from spreading. This sadly left her wing severely damaged, forcing her to become grounded as she could no longer use her wing without severe pain.
Following the others who had left the stable she tried to help the best she was able with the establishing of the new settlement and yet it felt like she was cursed when almost everything broke whenever she tried to help. There was one thing that were good about the wasteland, however, nobody dared to mess with an angry griffon armed with explosives and she was damn sure that anyone who tried would not be able to talk about it later.
