==Personality==
Nova Surge is a rather curios-natured pony, often found asking questions and investigating local rumours. However, this inquisitive nature is overcome often by her natural cautiousness, in that she is always sceptical and trying to determine the best course of action.
When it comes to meeting people, Nova Surge is difficult to win over, obviously because of her cautious side. However, when somepony manages to earn her trust, she is loyal to the death and will be there when they need it most.
==History==
Originally born into a high-up family in The Enclave, Nova Surge was raised above the cloud layer, with high expectations. However, her idyllic life was disrupted after she turned 10 without a Cutie Mark, and as such had no obvious use within The Enclave. Her parents decided it best to abandon her to the world below rather than her suffer the humiliation she would have to. However the only way to do this was to brand her a traitor, resulting in her permanent expulsion to the wastes below.
Once she was below the cloud layer, Nova Surge began wandering aimlessly, with nowhere to go she eventually collapsed in the wastes. She was chanced upon by a group of Zebras heading for Glyphmark, who decided to be kind and take her with them. Upon her arrival in Glyphmark, she was adopted by one of the Zebras, Teylia, and has considered her to be family ever since.
When Nova Surge turned 18, she decided that she wanted to learn as much about where she had come from as possible, and also the entire world around her was full of intrigue. How could she resist.
For the past few years, Nova has wandered the wastes, lending a hoof wherever it was needed.
