After Starry returns to Stableton, after being freed from slavers by Shutter and Jasmine. Starry promptly hides away in her room, and refuses to come out, opting instead to remain in the warm comfort of her bed day in and day out.
Shutter and Jasmine, being the only ponies who know Starry is back, decide to work together to coax Starry out of her home to meet other ponies, and reconnect with all her friends.
Starry is resistant, but throughout her trot around Stableton manages to reconnect with old friends, and meet some new ones. By the end of the trot Starry will have taken the first step in recovering from her trauma, by feeling comfortable around friendly faces.
Application Info:
This thread will operate differently from others in regards to recruitment. there will be three characters; Starry, Shutter and Jasmine, who will participate for the full duration of the thread. Other applicants will have one scene where they are the featured character whom the three interact with. Afterward, the three will move on to the next scene and the featured character will cease posting.
Please let me know if you'd like to participate, and I will communicate with you via PM to set up your scene, and let you know when it might begin. You have the freedom to set up your own scene, but I will work with you to make sure it is viable for the thread. Also, I cannot promise that everypony who applies and is promised a scene will receive one. Depending how interactions go early on, later scenes may be affected. Additionally, the thread may be cut short, but I will try to give a scene to everypony who I promise one to.
I will be selecting almost evenly from applicants who Starry knows and those she doesn't, and I will also play the scenes of female applicants earlier and males later, because given what Starry has experienced she is going to feel an extra level of anxiety around male characters. That's an internal struggle I want Starry to face second, after she has already eased into the anxiety of meeting and talking to ponies.
As an aside, I want to apologize in advance for the format of this thread. I know it doesn't sound fair that three players get to participate in the thread, while other players are brought in and after a time kicked out. Nopony wants to be told that the party is still going on but they have to leave. I try to alleviate this by giving your character the spotlight for the duration that they are in the thread.
