Starry Night is a science enthusiast at heart. She is extremely cheerful and friendly, and holds idealistic goals of making the wasteland a better place. Despite being very emotionally charged and holding lofty ambitions, Starry roots herself in solid logic and pragmatic thinking. Starry knows very clearly that violence is often the only way to affect real change in the wastes, and she is more than eager to take up the cause and help fight the good fight, even if it means cracking a few skulls.
Starry has always had a fascination with fairy tales, fantasy and science fiction. The stories have gone a long way toward shaping her view of the world; she strives to be as virtuous as the heroes in her stories, which is why she so readily took up the title of ‘Sword Mare’ when she realized it was within her means.
Despite her adventurous yearnings, Starry doesn’t relish in conflict. The conflict is merely a means to an end, an end where everypony can live in peace and focus on happier things, like having fun. Starry by her nature loves social events, she has even thrown a few wild parties of her own. Although many ponies find her eccentric personality annoying and barely tolerable, Starry makes for a great friend, even if she tends to speak faster than she thinks.
==History==
Starry Night spent the first twenty-two years of her life in Stable 113. Her interest in science arose after reading several comic books as a filly. She loved stories with robots and lasers, big explosions and outer space. Her interest in science fiction eventually carried over to reading various manuals and scientific journals within the stable, as well as various pranks involving cherry bombs, which the overmare did not take kindly to.
Starry was growing weary of her dull life and monotonous job in the stable, and leaving the stable opened up a whole world to explore. She set up a shack in stable 113's new settlement, and took to scavenging from nearby ruins and crafting explosives. She managed to contribute to the settlement by donating many of her crafted products to the town's defense. Starry eagerly traded with every caravaneer who passed by the settlement, in exchange for supplies and much-desired stories of the wider Equestrian Wasteland.
