"Ha! That's what you get!" Crying out in mocking triumph as he saw the raider torn to shreds from his shots, Sound Wave's eyes widened as a Raider aimed right at him! "Oh buck!"

"Ghn!" The sting that had implanted itself on his cheek was discomforting to say the least, as a trickle of blood ran down his face, Sound turned back to cover and cried. "Reloading!" With a sharp flick of his head, the shotgun popped open, two empty shells quickly ejecting from the barrel as it's owner popped a couple more in it's place and snapping it back shut, ready to roll once again!

"Lightning!" Sound Wave cried out in alarm as a bullet went into the other Pegasus' chest, his head sharply turning to look at the shot Pony before breathing a sigh of relief as he saw that he was okay. "Goddesses, I thought you were goner! You alright?" He asked as he pushed the Pegasus back into cover whilst trying to ignore the discomforting pain on his cheek.

"-kill you, you bastards!" Another curse had erupted from the barrage of gun fire and other string of curses, Sound Wave couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Oh, SHUSH you!" He leaned out once again and fired off a single shot towards the offending Raider's direction.

Lightning winced physically as a bullet hit him. He slipped a little and fell in the doorway. However, despite the blood rolling down his side, the bullet didn't penetrate enough to do too much harm. Pulling himself up, he would nod to Sound as he pushed him back to cover, "Yeah! Hurts but I'll live! Keep fighting and don't give up!" Leaning back out, he would take aim at another raider, firing four bursts before ejecting his clip and reloading.

The combination of seeing Arc not taking the cover and not wanting to die sent Silver towards the shed with Spark in tow. Well nopony can say I didn't try.

Sky would get her wish and more blood was spilled from the end of her SMG. A raider armed with a 9mm SMG would be hit with two bursts of 10mm bullets, his armor taking most of the damage but a bullet or two managed to pierce, making him yell out in pain.

When Spark Gunner fired his weapon, he managed to hit the one raider that was already wounded from Atriark's hunting rifle. Two bullets would hit the pony's armor but they did not pierce through very far.

Tesla continued to concentrate his fire on one raider which proved to be successful. Five out of six of her shots hit the raider head on, causing more damage to his body but sadly, not enough to drop him.

Atriark was still on a streak and the next shot he fired hit a raider straight in the heart, dropping him instantly. Changing targets, the shot after that hit another raider in the chest, going through the armor easily and piercing the raider's torso.

Arc would come in right after that, firing at the same pony Atriark fired at and scored three hits to help slow the attacking group down.

Sound would try to hit another raider who was shouting insults towards them but however, the raider managed to dodge, leaping away from the hail of shotgun shells coming at him.

Lightning was the last to shoot, hitting two out of four bursts from his SMG. Hitting the raider that Tesla hit earlier, the 10mm bullets pierced through the raider's armor but only just.


Another raider had fallen and all of them were now wounded to a certain point. They have almost reached the cabin now, intent on tearing it apart and the ponies inside it. Most of them missed their shots except for one raider with a 10mm pistol managed to fire one shot that hit Tesla in the hoof.

"Gah!...FUCK!" Tesla cried out, the raider's bullet digging into his hoof. It felt like had stabbed him with a burning fire poker. Drawing back his left hoof, the Gunsmith winced has he moved it. Inspecting it, he could already see the green coat around the wound beginning to be stained red with his blood. Holding the hoof up to his chest, Tesla tried to stop the bleeding as best he could with what little he had. Focusing his magic once more, the unicorn brought his gun to bear once more on the raider he was fighting. "You son of a BITCH! I'll show you I'm not somepony to mess with!" Tesla yelled at the raider, as he glared down the iron sights of the pistol. When he was sure he had the murderous pony in his sights, Tesla open fired.

After firing at the wounded raider, five times, the unicorn quickly changed targets to one of the other raiders who was drawing closer to the his group. Aiming at the new target, the unicorn fired three rounds into the threat.

Silver Tongue started to move toward the house, magically lifting the table to intercept the raiders bullets.

"Hey, you're leaving Arc behind !" Gunner was hiding behind the cover provided by the unicorn and couldn't come back to Arc's hiding place without being turned into a colander. With no other choice, Gunner followed Silver Tongue, reloaded his now empty gun and took some shot at the raiders.

Atriark was on a roll, he barely noticed that other bullets were flying around. Until Tesla cried out. His mind snapped into gear and instantly he was barking orders. "Sunny, belay my last order. Get out my bag and check on whomever is wounded. If it isn't serious, or can wait till after the gun fight, move on." Atriark went took aim down his sights again. He fired on the first raider he caught in his sights.

"10 Caps to who gets the last kill?" Sound Wave grinned at Lightning as he popped in another Shell into his weapon, the barrel already smoking hot from the previous fired, his tone was light and there was a mischievous twinkle in his eyes as he snapped the barrel back into place. Before awaiting a response, the Cyan Pegasus leaned out of cover and fired off both shells in his weapon before ducking back into cover. "Or are you too yellow feathered to agree?"

His eyes narrowed playfully as he gave a playful taunt, his teeth bared in a full out mischievous grin as bullets whizzed through the open door and hit the wall opposite of the room. Ah speaking of bullets.... His eyes turned down towards Lightning's chest. "Think you'll be able to get that out when this is all over..? It went in pretty deep...."

"Statistical shooting at its finest, eh, Arc?", the brown stallion grinned. Then the hammer clicked and the weapon was empty, suddenly pulling him from his tunnel thinking. He realized others started falling back to the cabin and he could very possibly be left here. Then again, he was yet unwounded, had ammo and a good vantage point among the rocks, and the raiders were almost finished.

"Aw, what the hell...", he silently muttered and slammed a fresh magazine into the pistol.

Sky saw she drew more blood from the raiders, but her gun wanted more flesh to pierce. And so thats what she did, She looked around to see the other firing back. It looks like they were able to fight back against this rather large group of raiders, looks like she needs to put more faith in the group. But thinking is not for now, now Sky needed to shot back at the raiders.

Lightning winced now and then as he fired his bursts. The gunshot wound hurt but he was never one to give up until the battle was over. Bullets continued to hit the wall he was using for cover and Sound decided to make a bet against him. A smirk would come over Lightning's face as he said, "10 caps, eh? Alright, you're on!" Before he responded to the pegasus' question, he would lean out and fire three bursts at one of the last remaining raiders. "I'll be fine. I've gotten shot before and I still lived to tell the tale."

Silver with Spark in tow ran to the shack. Bullets hit the table, holes beginning to form. Silver reaches the shack. SHe tried the door, only to find it locked. "Let me in! I mean us! It's Silver and Spark! Hurry!" A bullet hits by where Silver's face is, almost hitting it.

As the raiders tried to make their final push to the cabin, Tesla fired his 9mm at two of the raiders, the first one missing most of his shots but one and the second hitting twice. The bullets still were not piercing far enough to do enough damage but at least he could hit his shots.

Spark hit a raider again as well. A single 9mm bullet going into the armor of another raider but just like Tesla, his bullet did minimal damage. The raiders were beginning to look a bit worse for wear though, their own blood starting dripping down their bodies.

Atriark finally lost his hit streak and the next shot he fired missed several feet to the side.

Sound had made a bet with Lightning and the little spark of competition might be helping his aim as when he fired his shotgun at a raider, the raider was instantly torn apart by the shells. He was dead before he even hit the ground.

Sky was certainly fulfilling her thirst for blood as she would kill a raider of her own, pumping him so full of lead that he just collapsed and died.

Lightning, determined to win this bet with Sound, missed one of his bursts but managed to steady his aim long enough to hit two. That raider that was sadly on the south end of his gun would have 10mm bullets hit his body and armor, causing him to fall over in pain but somehow, forced himself to get up.


There were now only two raiders left. One of them was bleeding profusely and the other was fairly hurt as well. They knew the odds were against them so they quickly turned tail and began running away. Or in their case, more like limping. There was still a huge raider army moving in but for now, they have the time to lick their wounds and get out.

Sky was able to see that she has finally able to kill one of them, with the last two ran away. Now she just let them run away, with the rest of her group still alive and not to many injures. This turned out to be a good call on her part, something good that finally didn't get an entire group killed and such. Sky reloaded her weapon as she knew more of those raiders were coming back, one group came back. She only wondered how many more are coming and maybe they will bring friends, whos to say. Sky only looked on to the hills, to wait for the them to come back.

Seeing the raiders begin to run, Tesla let them. Sitting down, the unicorn leaned back against the wall, as he dropped his hold on his pistol, letting it clatter to the floor. Pulling his hoof away from his body, "Son of a Bitch," he swore, his once was green coat, now ran red from the wound. it wasn't bad, he'd definitely survive, but it simply hurt, and if anything it was just fucking distracting. He needed to get the bullet out of his hoof if he wanted to wound to truly heal without complications.

Looking to the zebra, "Um..hey medical zebra, do you have something I could use to get this bullet out? Maybe some wrappings?"

Lightning sighed as he saw the raiders turn and run. They would be back soon enough but hopefully, they would be long gone before that happened. Now that the adrenaline began to wane in his system, the pain became alot stronger. He would sit down and wince as he peered over at his gunshot wound. "Ahh...why did I choose to lean out and get shot?" he chuckled to himself. The pegasus would turn to Sound and give him a nod of respect, "Good job, Sound. Looks like I owe you 10 caps."

"HA HA!" The Pegasus let out a triumphant cry as the Raider went down in a streak of body flesh ribbons whilst Lightning's only took a good hit but got back up. Pointing a hoof at the other Pegasus, Sound Wave grinned wide and gently poked his friend in the arm. "I win!"

"Good job, Sound. Looks like I owe you 10 caps."

"You bet your ass you do!" A most cocky grin was on the Pegasus face as he stood on his hind legs and assumed a victory pose! The smug Stallion! Shifting back to all fours, his nose dove into his saddlebags and pulled out the last of his Med-X and offered it to the Stallion. "Last one I got but you probably need it more than I do!" He chimed, a warm smile now on his face as his wings fluttered quickly happily behind him!

"Alright, anypony who is injured, circle up! I dont want to be galloping back and forth to each new patient. And Lightning, i want to see you first." Atriark said, finishing up reloading the hunting rifle. The zebra medic slung the rifle over his back and he fell back down to two hooves. "Sunny, where are you?"

Quickly, Sunny Smiles came out levitating Atriark's medical bag. "Here sir."

"Attend to Tesla, take out what you would need from the bag." Atriark said, trotting closer to the unicorn mare. "I trust you can handle a bullet in a hoof?"

Sunny began taking out what she would need to assist Tesla Spark. When she finished, Atriark picked up the bag and trotted over to Lightning. The zebra stable dweller rifled through the bag and pulled out a pair of forceps.

"You might want to take the Med-X now," he said through the forceps.

Meanwhile, Sunny smiled as she magically levitated out her pair of forceps. "I really admired how you jumped to assist Atriark with Indigo." She said as she gingerly lifted up Tesla's hoof with her own and dug gently around for the bullet.

Mentally Tesla's mind grew a little frantic, after being behind the workbenches of Powder's store for the majority of his time in Stableton, and even prior in the Stable, he had not been a social pony... due to this...he was not good at talking to mares...at all. "Um...I...ah...Thank you," Tesla tried to speak, as she dug into his wound with her pair of forceps. For the most part she was being gentle, but the digging of metal into a wound, it still stung. "It just seemed like the best thing to do...ow...I mean I would always try and help a pony in need...eh...try and make the Wastes a little better..." {Oh by the Goddesses...if I'm blushing!...} He stopped himself trying to not imagine his embarrassment.

Lightning shook his head as Sound gloated over his success. "Yeah, yeah, you got lucky. That raider should have dropped from my shots." Letting a smile come over his face, he accepted the Med-X from the pegasus. "Thanks." He would turn to look at Atriark before nodding, "You probably should administer it, I'm no good in medicine." Lightning knew that extracting the bullet might hurt but the Med-X should help ease the pain, hopefully. He took in another deep breath before looking away and saying, "Alright, let's do this."

Looking at his EFS, Gunner could see that the wall of red representing the raiders was still there.

Alright, anypony who is injured, circle up!

The zebra doctor was now outside attending to the wounded.

"Guys, that must have been the vanguard or shit, the raiders are still closing in on us, so hurry ! Please ?"

"Oh it's easy Flash," Atriark took took the syring. "You just take the syringe and jab it in there," Atriark said, jabbing the Med-X in Lightning's chest and injected it into the pegasus buck. "There you go. Now we wait for a bit to let it work. And uh..." Atriark turned to face the new pony. "You look familiar....Do I know you?"

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." Sunny said sweetly, looking up. "I think thats nice what you're trying to do. Celestia knows we need a few more nice and caring ponies in the wasteland..." Sunny found the bullet and pulled it out quickly, trying to spare Tesla unneeded pain.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I think thats nice what you're trying to do. Celestia knows we need a few more nice and caring ponies in the wasteland..."

Tesla sat straight up, his eyes wide shifting from side to side to side. As Sunny spoke to him. {Oh god oh god oh god} Most every muscle in Tesla had begun to tighten up

"Ow!" He flinched as Sunny pulled out the bullet from his hoof. "well, thats just me I guess," Tesla replied, shaking his hoof as the stinging subsided. "Now thank you very much Miss Sunny for removing the bullet, now if you'd please I think I can bandage it up myself."

The unicorn quickly looked over to Sound Wave, "He Sound, you think you could tell the rest of the group to gather up any bullet casings, duds, or if they have any malfunctioning guns I can fix them up quickly. We will need to be in key shape if we are gonna face another wave of those bastards, and I don't want our equipment crapping out on us."

"Hey Sound, The Cyan Pegasus' ears perked up as he heard somepony call his name, turning his head, he gave a friendly smile in greetings as Tesla. "Hey, Tesla. Your hoof doing okay?" He asked, sounding quite concerned, he saw the Unicorn' injured hoof and couldn't help but wince. "If you think taking the bullet out hurt wait til you star walking around with said injured hoof.. NOT fun I assure you..." He grimaced before allowing the Unicorn to continued.

"You think you could tell the rest of the group to gather up any bullet casings, duds, or if they have any malfunctioning guns I can fix them up quickly. We will need to be in key shape if we are gonna face another wave of those bastards, and I don't want our equipment crapping out on us." Nodding his head, Sound Gave gave a small smile on understanding and turned to Lightning with a bright grin and pointed a hoof at Tesla before saying. "Yeah, what he said. Bullet Casings, dud bullets and malfunctioning guns to him!"

Turning to Sunny, the Pegasus raised a hoof to stop her from saying or doing anything before covering the cut on his cheek. "It'll heal, no worries, focus on the rest alright?" Now his attention was turned back to Tesla before plopping down a small pile of empty shotgun shells. "Here's mine. All my other stuff's working but... here!"

Digging into his Saddlebag, Sound Wave pulled out the Extra 9mm and the 10mm he had looted from the dead raiders from before. "Think you can use the parts form these to fix the ones that aren't working?"

Taking the 10mm and 9mm from Sound, Tesla smiled, both relieved to have another pony to talk to, and for the two guns, which after a quick inspection, the unicorn noticed that they were both in pretty good condition, "Yeah I can definitely use these for spare parts, thanks." Picking up the shotgun shells, with his magic, Tesla slipped them into his saddlebags. {Shit...he's right though, walking on this hoof is gonna suck. Oh well nothing much I can do about it now, but as dad would say, cowpony up, and deal with it.}
