Of course, the first thing he wishes to do is visit this area, meet the ponies there, and add their town to his maps. However, the area the settlement seems to be located is near hostile territory. Why the ponies would want to put it there, Zuberi could not tell. However, a lot of traders would be anxious to get maps to the location of this new settlement, so Zuberi was ready to do what it took to get there, record its location, and get out. He never imagined he'd be stepping into something so much bigger than that. The town had chosen to have many armed guards to defend it from raider or slaver attacks, but so close to the territory when there are countless enemies? It seems like a more balls than brain plan. Pride can be a great weakness, or a valuable resource- if you know how to gamble with fate.
Because the town is so close to hostile territory, and there is so much money to be made in selling maps, Zuberi has taken it upon himself to offer a reward to a few ponies for following along as body guards. Raiders are much less likely to go after a group of armed ponies rather than a single armed pony, after all. Hopefully, when the group arrives at the settlement they are met with warm welcomes and can find a good place to trade for supplies. Hopefully, there will not be any complications from raiders. Hopefully, all will go smoothly.
