==Personality==
Rodeo is tough, and doesn't put up with trash. He is quick to throw a punch to defend himself or his pride. But is even faster to throw a punch to defend another pony from danger. Especially if he's being paid to do it. He does enjoy the small things in life, as there isn't too much otherwise to enjoy. He loves sitting under the stars and playing guitar around a camp fire. He enjoys seeing a smile on other pony's faces. He enjoys to hear others laugh at something he said or did. He enjoys a new hat, cool, new ammunition. The company of another pony. And he definitely enjoys a bottle filled with something strong. However, he is smart about it. It is unsafe to drink out where somepony could come across a passed out Rodeo and rob him.
There isn't too much to him, other than that. Rodeo may seem tough, but he has an inner sense of good. He only does honest work. He doesn't do hits or raids, unless they are on bad ponies. He will help somepony fight off bullies, robbers, attackers, defend a caravan or trader or shop, or even work hard out on a farm. He doesn't care what the work is, so long as its for the good of it, and has the right pay. On top of all that, he loves new toys. Guns, ammo, armor, or even random assortments of junk he can tinker with. That's about all there is to Rodeo.
==History==
Rodeo started out a small colt, as most grown stallions do. Born to two farmer ponies in New Appleoosa, Rodeo grew up working hard in the wasteland, exposed to all the elements. Mainly, all this did was make him stronger and tougher. He worked and worked and worked until the age of 23. Got drunk as often as possible, and got into many, many fights. He soon became pretty good at it, and realized some potential. At the age of 24, Rodeo received his first job other than farming when a smaller, weaker pony who had been getting bullied by a local group of punks paid him twenty caps to stomp their faces in. And stomped their faces in he did. After the scuffle, Rodeo looked at his new twenty caps, and realized he had helped this pony. It felt good. He liked the feeling. He soon found himself getting even more work. He was hired by other ponies to help them with their troubles. From bullies, to fights, to gangs, to any pony who needed a heavy hoof on their side; Rodeo was there. So long as the price was right. And the job was for the good of it.
By the age of 25, Rodeo was being hired by all kinds of ponies around town. He was hired to defend shops from robbers, he was hired as a body guard, he was hired even by the sheriff from time to time to assist with apprehending criminals. He learned how to use guns, which is hard for an earth pony to begin with. He found himself with quite a few scars, and empty pockets as most of his money went to either alcohol, new hats, or things he needed to refurbish his guitar, as they were often trashed in fights brought on by either money, or alcohol induced bar brawls. However, when the right money is attracted to a hired hoof, the wrong money is as well. Rodeo soon found himself face to face with ponies who had... less than righteous intentions. Malicious intentions such as robberies, heists, raiding, drug traffic, slaving, even murder. Rodeo turned these offers away, and even found himself in a bit of a bind because of it when powerful ponies were angry to be turned away so easily for such... petty... reasons such as "its not right".
However, one thing he did find himself pleasure in, other than working for ponies to make their lives easier, was playing guitar. He found himself an old guitar which he worked hard and invested lots of caps from working with his parents in to refurbish, and learned how to play it around the age of 12. He got his cutie mark from this, and kept that guitar with him anytime he left. Played it every night, and filled his shack with beautiful music.
Rodeo was always a happy pony. He laughed, he joked, he had friends, a girl friend, and he enjoyed work. It all seemed so perfect. One thing which attracted attention to him and convinced potential employers he was the pony for the job, was his attitude. But it was not a happy, charismatic pony they wanted; they wanted a bad ass who didn't talk much, and could throw down the thousand yard stare like it was chicken feed. Rodeo soon found himself with this attitude after his life fell apart. His heart was broken, his friends murdered, his farm destroyed by an enemy. They destroyed his life. Literally. Rodeo took his revenge when he killed the pony right there in New Appleoosa. However, that would never be enough. Rodeo's broken heart and homelessness drove him to drink more, lose his personality, and set out to bring justice to the wastes. That became his dream, to prevent shit like that from happening to anypony else.
Soon, Rodeo found himself helping with transporting caravans. He left New Appleoosa with a caravan, and had not returned. He made it to some big city where he found himself with more work, and plenty of alcohol. He lost everything except his ratty, old rattan cowboy hat and his guitar, and could often times be found in the bar, with or without alcohol, depending on if he had managed to come across a few caps. Posted up and looking scary, advertising himself for work, or playing guitar harmlessly, or passed out in the corner, empty bottle in hoof. If you ever need Rodeo, he will be there at the bar in Stableton.
