Cornered Between Raiders (East Wing) [Invites only]

In an afternoon on the outside of the big city of Manehatten (Well what's left of it) a group of wastelanders found a gun factory it seems to be abandoned so the wastelanders headed inside. The factory was divided by two sides, east and west. Everypony decided to split up in groups and scavange what they could find. Starting on the group of the East wing was preparing themselves before they enter the hallway.

Marcus stepped up to the abandoned gun factory, looking up to it curiously. It was a building designed for creating weapons of war, every aspect of it breathing misery and death. One might even call such a building evil, if one were inclined to believe that buildings could be evil.

Of course, Marcus wasn't too concerned about this; whatever inner workings it had that made it evil had died off long ago, leaving an entire building full of weapons and other items of interest. Marcus smiled as he thought about what he might be able to scavenge inside this factory. He eventually pulled his attention away and sat down to ensure his Iron Hooves were fitting properly and to make sure his armor was set. As he did so, he let his gaze wander over the rest of the group so that he could gather a brief observation of them.

The first member he noticed was a Diamond Dog ghoul, one that Marcus hoped was slightly better at keeping his emotions in check than the last DD ghoul he had encountered. Still, one individual does not make up the entirety of one's kind, as Marcus liked to think. He would have to see this dog in action before he judged him too much.

The next member he looked at was a dark coated, tall Unicorn mare. His first thoughts on her brought him to another dark Unicorn he knew, Sanctity, because of the similarity in color. Such thoughts brought a chuckle out of Marcus as he thought of the possibility of there being a female Sanctity running around.

Composing himself, he turned his attention to the last member of the group, a gryphoness by what he could see. Marcus' experience with gryphons was mixed, with most of them being well and capable fighters. Marcus was excited to be working alongside another gryphon.

I should introduce myself to them, he thought. Finishing with his adjustments of his weapons and armor, Marcus stood up and bowed in greeting to the group.

"I know this greeting is late, and I am sorry. I am Marcus, and I am honored to be kusafiri (traveling) with you."

Standing up, Marcus turned his attention back to the building and brought a hoof to his chin in thought, before turning back to the group, a large smile adorning his face.

"Come, fellow wasafiri (travelers) we have much to kuchunguza (explore)! There is plenty to scavenge within this old buillding!"

He turned his attention back to the building and raised himself on two legs, pointing one of his forelegs to the building dramatically. "The past beckons us to come here, and we have answered in kind! Let no secrets be hidden as we kuchunguza (explore)!"

Tiffany had no idea what the zebra had said, all his words were gobbledegook to her, everyone's words were unless they tried speaking to her in her language or used gestures... Or used the word "Fwoosh", she knew what fwoosh meant for certain.

Though she knew he wanted to go in a certain direction as he pointed in that very direction with a hoof, Tiffany nodded and pointed that way as well before she started on her way, merrily bouncing slightly as she went, adorned in NLR armour and a hat, not to mention a few shiny medals pinned to her armour because they were still nice and shiny. She didn't want to ruin the fancy uniform she found either, so she left that in a safe place. But she still had her caravan shotgun and a plasma pistol, not to mention a bundle of shiny caps and other shiny or interesting things she'd found.

This place might have a lot of interesting shiny things! What a thing to look forward to! This was going to be fun!

Black Aura was calmly cleaning her knife and checking ehr gear when she looked up and saw the zebra staring at her. She saw him give a little chuckle then turn away, she thought he was thinking of how she was weak and puny. She stood up levitating the knife into it's sheath and walked over to him. "I don't like people laughing at me." She spat at him as she gave him a shove while he was standing.

She didn't care what he did after that since she walked over to the griffin and smiled "Lovely hat and medals." She said with a smile and a bat of her eyes.

Tiffany was suddenly distracted from her ponderings over what variety of shiny things she could find by the unicorn... that's what they were, right, unicorn ponies? But this pony was saying something and Tiffany had no idea what she was saying.. and what did those fluttering eyes mean? Did she have something in her eyes?

Whatever it was, Tiffany could only look on in confusion at the unicorn, making a somewhat questioning squawk to follow up whatever Aura had said to her.

Jackpot jumped down from the rock he had been using as a vantage point and wordlessly fell into step beside Marcus. He hoped that the factory made some melee weapons too. There was nothing wrong with guns, but he preferred up close and personal kills. Mourning the loss of his signature blades Gatekeeper and Lamentation, he padded towards the looming factory, ready to face whatever was inside.

The group finally enters to the other side of the factory everything seemed different as they hoped...There was a lot of empty shotgun shells all over the floor and of course blood was visible aroundthe walls and a very peculiar graffiti on the wall that had very strong language and had very unappropiate things written on those walls saying that something bad happened here, but a terminal's green glow lights up the room slightly.

There's not one but two doors in the room giving them a little exploration to the group. One of those doors are locked.

Marcus picked himself up from being pushed and looked over at the dark Mare questioningly, though he quickly brushed off her behaviour as a simple reaction to his dramatic dispaly. He had been told in the past to tone that down a bit (something he had no intention of doing). Smiling again, he stepped forward into the building and took stock of the interior.

He was immediately struck by the sight of blood and graffiti on the wall, a sure sign of Raiders in the area. Marcus instantly lost the smile and glared around the room, before turning back to the group.

"Use caution, fellow wasafiri. Danger looms nearby."

He turned to look at the two doors, noticing one had a terminal next to it, locking it up tight. He motioned to the terminal, hoping to gather the attention of the group.

"I do not think Raiders would have locked up this door. Are one of you skilled in working on the old machines?"

Turning his attention to the other door, he said "We will need to make sure the area beyond is safe. We do not want Raiders to take us by surprise."

After saying this, Marcus made his way to the unlocked door and pressed his ear against it in hopes of determining if the space behind the door was safe.

Jackpot shook his head as he peered around the room. "I'm not. I could give it a try if nopony else wants too. For now, though, I'm just going to see if any of this clutter can be turned into caps."
He then proceed to quickly search the room as he waited to see if any of his companions would attempt to open the door.

Black Aura walks over to the door and looks at it for some time "I can't unlock this." She turned towards the griffin "Maybe the lovely looking griffinesse can open it, while you two look for useless stuff." She walked over and smiled at Tiffany "Please be a dear and unlock the door."

Still lacking any idea on what the others were saying, Tiffany looked around, noticing a focus on one door which must've been locked in some way. The unicorn was talking to her, again, yet not realizing she didn't know what she was saying.

But common sense seemed to say, they wanted that door open, Tiffany didn't know what the terminal did, but she inspected the door to see if it had a lock to pick, she could at least do that.

As for Marcus listening through the door nothing can be heard or any pony.

Jackpot found three caps and something that he didn't expect much was that he found a 10mm pistol lying on a small corner with a ammunation box.

Chirping with anticipation and tilting back her hat a little to get some light, Tiffany withdrew a bobbypin and used her talon to turn the lock, fiddling with it for a short while in an attempt to pick it.

A good "click" sound came from the locked door meaning that it was finally unlocked. Inside there was a few .9mm and 10mm ammo and a of course a Single Shotgun with some ammo still in it rewarding Tiffany's effort on for unlocking the door.

sound of a gun shot echoes through the room....

Tiff gave a small hoot of joy as she opened the door, revealing the spoils of her success on display and fitting it into her saddlebags as the gunshot rang out, causing her to look around panickedly for a moment before she calmed down, waiting for the others to get a move on.

Black Aura smiles as she sees the griffin collect her spoils and turns back to the others "Okay let's..." She is cut short from the gunshot and looks around in surprise, she pulls out her knife and looks around "Why the hell was there a gunshot?"

After examining the gun for a moment, Jackpot decided to keep it. It wasn't in the best shape and could do with some replacement parts, but it packed more of a punch than the only other gun he had. Hearing a shot ring out, Jackpot drew his 9mm with his pther paw. Coaxing as many metallic clicks and clacks from his guns as possible, Jackpot slid a clip home and racked the slide on the 10mm ( http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LockAndLoadMontage ) right as the shot rang out. He tossed the caps onto the terminal. He was here for gear, not money.

"Anyone wanna try to hack this thing before we move on? the rest of us will keep an eye out for whatever or whoever is feeling a bit trigger happy..."

Marcus opened the door and there was a bigger room than the last one it looks very spacious but yet there's still some raider graffiti on the walls. The desk in a corner of the room there there's 2 Med-X. There's also a few filing cabinets and a safe though it's locked.

Yet the sound of a gunshot sounded a little closer... There was another door with a sign saying "Hallway" on the top of the door.

Jackpot shrugged when nopony stepped forward to attempt to hack the terminal. He walked over to look in the next room and saw the safe. Putting two and two together, he went back to the terminal and tapped a few buttons just to see if somepony had been kind enough to leave it logged in. He knew that on occasion it was possible to remotely unlock a safe from a terminal. If luck was with him, this would be one of those occasions. He hoped that the terminal was online, he really had no idea how to hack.

Marcus perked his ears at the sound of the second gunshot and brought himself low to the floor, listening out for further gunshots. He crept along to the marked door, trying to ignore the graffiti on the walls and the sickening feeling it brought to his stomach.

Marcus gave a glance at the Ghoul and snorted as he proceeded to work on the terminal. Maybe the Ghoul wasn't afraid of being caught unaware, but Marcus wasn't to keen on being unprepared. He turned his attention back to the door and continued on his slow creep forward.

Jackpot didn't have to hack the terminal it was already logged in...though there's no commands for a safe or door around the room just three files that was written quite recent. The files are: "Reminder to myself", "Note to all scavengers" and "My secret ammo stash"

Yet another gunshot is heard but, it sounded louder than before and it came from further ahead in the hallway. Then a voice roared through the room "Who goes there!?"

While Jackpot appreciated the rare stroke of luck in finding an unlocked terminal, he doubted he was going to have time to make use of it. He did not respond to the voice and shot a glance to the rest of the party, raising a finger to his lips attempting to silently convey that he should remain quiet. Hopefully, whoever was out there didn't know how many of them there were or how heavily armed, and as a result would be cautious about investigating. Ideally, they didn't even know where the party was and the group would be able to pull off a surprise attack should the owner of the voice prove hostile. He quietly drew his axes and crept up to the door. He pressed himself against the wall, positioning himself to ambush any enemies that came through.

Marcus continued creeping forward until he was next to the door and positioned right next to it. He wasn't sure who was calling out, but whoever it was, they were definitely trigger happy. He didn't want to call attention to the group until they were sure of who they were dealing with. With this in mind, Marcus peaked his head just far enough through the door to see who was on the other side.

Aura would walk after Marcus into the next room with her knife drawn. She looked at the safe then at Tiffany, seeing how well she did with the door Aura pointed to the safe with the knife "Will you open it for all of us?"

Tiffany flinched upon hearing another gunshot, but with a very very quick look around, she saw that both the stripy pony and the dog were now sneaking about. Meanwhile, the unicorn was pointing at a safe with her knife saying... something. The griffon could guess that she wanted the safe open, she was going to try and get into it anyway, she was wondering what shiny things were in there.

So putting her shotgun away again, Tiffany got ready to pick the lock, being sure to be careful all the while.
