Sketch wasted no time in looking through the pile of loot the ghouls had collected over the centuries (hurray for rephrasing Penny's post!)

Tiffany stumbled out into the view of the others along with the rest of the captured team and she gave a worried glance around, back to not knowing what anypony was saying at all.

But she recognised one thing, some of them were picking over a pile of loot, to which she guessed she could do the same, shaking herself off a bit she took a few things that she liked, and a few things she felt she'd need. She really liked the bright dress uniform, bright things and shiny things were her favourite, like all those shiny medals!

Jasmine held onto Rodeo, trying not to weep too loudly. She was still in shock from looking into the barrell of the pistol, and right before her life got cut short Rodeo threw himself in the way to save her. Her face felt swollen and ached from the strike, she felt so out of place, what was she doing here anyways?! She burried her face in Rodeo's side as her tears fell. What on earth was wrong with that General?! For somepony that wanted to respect the dead and protect the graveyard he was doing a horrible job. A museum would be a wonderful way to perserve the cemetary and share the tales of what that jerk once stood for. She stroked Rodeo as he laid ontop of her, her eyes still heavy with tears.

"Oh Rodeo I'm tho thorry I'm tho thorry! Pleathe don't die, you thould've jutht let him shoot me." Jasmine held onto Rodeo and patted him gentily, her eyes clenched shut as a strange feeling began to wash over her. This darker part of her mind was a place she didn't visit often, but felt surface periodically. Everypony had this inside them, and as much as she hated to admit it she may have to use it in order to survive. Jasmine took a deep breath, her nostrils flared as her eyebrows furrowed. No pony hurts her friends, she knew that not only that she would stop at nothing to catch up to him. Even if it killed her, and when she did well...The general would have to sleep sometime...

"That bathtard ith going to pay! Rodeo, get up! Can thomepony check to thhee if he'th ok?!" Jasmine helped Rodeo to his hooves and tried to steady him, she still sniffled trying to control her fury. She flew to the pile of treasure, trying not to get in the way of her team mates, she grabbed the first items that looked handy to her.

She grabbed 1 service rifle for her, 1 switchblade for the generals back, 1 Ghost cloak armor, 1 advanced radiation suit, 1 9mm pistol and amo, and finished off by putting on a mercenary outfit. She thought herself to be silly for a moment, there's no way she could possibly go through with this...

She trotted over to the door and turned to kes. "I wonder id we can uthe that thledgehammer to create ourthelveth an exit..."

Rodeo tried to stand, and with a little help from Jasmine managed to get back to his hooves. The back of his duster was covered in blood, and it ran off the sides to drip on the ground along with the other bullet wounds he had received. He had no idea how he was still moving, but he wasn't dead yet, and a little bleeding wasn't going to stop him!... Slow him down, yes. But stop him? No, sir!... Though a health potion would help a lot.

"The sledgehammer....... Yeah, um... Go inta the next room, there should be that one wall with the metal sheets filling that one corner that done fell away... Bust it out, n' let's go!" Rodeo said, hobbling toward the next room. "And, uh... Could somepony lend me uh health potion?"

In the next room was a small doorway with no door in it that went down to the propane tank the General was talking about. If somepony walked over and stuck their head in, they'd be able to see the small room down under the foundation and the large tank within. It was the size of the room! And the bomb was taped to the front of it with duct tape, little blinking lights and all, just like the General said it would be. Though, it looked far too advanced to be disarmed. All the ghouls knew what they were doing. Though, if one looked at the map of the pipes on the wall next to the tank, they'd realize that a line goes straight over to the western funeral home. The candles that lit there came from the propane tank. It was fake!

Rodeo approached the metal sheet wall, and tried to throw a hoof at it... It didn't do much more than plink off and cause Rodeo to fall back on his haunches. He was far too weak, he needed help fast!

Bakewell winced as Rodeo fell onto his haunches. How had she not noticed he was in pain earlier? Sure, Scrap had occupied most of her attention at first, and then the treasure had just been too amazing for her mind to focus on other stuff. That was bad, though! A living pony was much better than some… some weapons!

“Health potion!” The mare said, in case his need had not become abundantly clear. “Somepony with a health potion, He really needs one!” The mare called back to the others who were still with the treasures. She didn’t have any potions on her person and knew so little about the things that anypony else would probably do a better job than her. But even if she couldn't heal Rodeo, maybe she could still help the group somehow...

“Let me try the wall.” She said quietly, positioning herself herself in front of wall before beginning to repeatedly buck it with all her might, keeping the others free to assist Rodeo in his health, whether it be by a potion or some other means.

Kira walked over to Bakewell as she bucked the metal sheet wall that Rodeo had tried to buck open as well, it might look like the best way to get out of this place before they all become engulfed in a fireball. She had just needed to take a look a the bomb by the propane tank to know that there was no really time to disarm it even if she had time there was no telling if it was save.

"Bake let do this together." The gryphoness said as she placed her self next to the earthpony, she did not know if it was needed but they needed to get going and fast. "On three. One. Two. Three." Kira bucked as hard as she could at the metal at the same time as Bakewell hoping that the sheet would give in from the barrage.

Sky looked to Rodeo as he tried to buck the sheet metal and Sky looked over to the other two and got an idea, She back up to the opposite end of the wall and unfurled her wings. "Hey you two, can you move to the side so i can try crash through it." Sky said as she got ready, flapping her wings to get ready and see if she could try go through the wall. But thought if they both buck at the sheet metal and she crashed through, it would be more than enough force to get through, right?

Sky flapped her wings one last time and took off, to just in between the two barraging the sheet metal and Sky crashed into it.

Kestrel had stayed back from the group and watched as they tried tearing through the wall using their selves as battering rams. Should they fail, Kestrel would calmly rush back to the pile of loot, grab hold of that aforementioned Sledgehammer, and try it that way.

If that wasn't required and everyone as able to get through Kestrel would just take up his usual position at the rear of the group and get ready for battle. No doubt the General had a whole army waiting for the team to come out.

Dash used the time they apparently had to break through the door in to quickly restock all of his weapons, which brought to his mind a major problem with the Hunting Rifle he had picked up. The damnable thing was rusty, and, although it worked, it would be alot of effort to keep in its current condition unless somepony could really restore it. Regardless he got it ready for battle and got into a position he knew would be useful.

Scraps had apparently missed Rodeo being injured as he rushed to Bakewell and then to the loot. When Bakewell pointed out that Rodeo was injured and somepony should probably give him a health potion; Scraps went to do just that, levitating a health potion out of his saddlebags and heading over to the bleeding earth pony.

"Not sure how much good this will do, but this should at least help a little."

Rodeo snatched the heath potion from the air the second he saw it, and sucked the liquid out of the bottle greedily. Time was of the absolute essence. After he drank, a few moments passed by. He shook his head, and felt some of his strength returning to him. He felt his wounds stop bleeding, a few of the bullets push out of their wounds and click-clack to the concrete floor.

Just then, it appeared Bake and Kira started to bash on the sheet metal. It began to wiggle, and started to give way. Then, as Sky flew at it and crashed into it, a sheet on the outside collapsed and fell to the dead grass outside. There was a hole now, and light beamed through. However, unless anypony or griffon there were the size of a foal, they most likely wouldn't be able to fit more than their head through it. It was weak though, and starting to fall.

Rodeo felt his strength continue to return to him. He stood tall, and shook his mane out. "Thank you, Scraps," he thanked, nodding to the unicorn. Time to break down a wall. Rodeo turned in place, and put a buck into the wall with all his might. The outside of the wall came to pieces, and scattered across the yard. Now, a normal pony could fit through. And maybe Kes, if he sucked in his everything.

"Ain't much time, let's go!!" Rodeo hollered, then leapt through the hole to stand on the outside to help the others through. "C'mon, c'mon! Less ya wanna get blown ta bits, get the hell out!"

Sky shook herself as she felt a bit dizzy into crashing and barley able to get a piece of metal to fall but no able to get the entire wall, until she saw rodeo stand back up from the health potion and was quick to stand back up. Only to buck the wall and bring it down good enough for everypony to get through, Sky had to admit, that was a good buck.

slowly she looked to rodeo and nodded to the earth pony, "Dont have to tell me twice!" Sky yelled as she went through the hole, only to meet up with rodeo and look back to see if anypony needed help or to keep watch of what was around as ponies started to get through.

Bakewell looked between Rodeo and the wall, she hadn’t really thought that the white buck was that much stronger than her.

“Pff, we did all the work.” She joked as Sky went through the hole, forgetting in her excitement of possibly getting out of this place alive to think her words through before saying them. Sure, there was a chance they would all explode and die horribly, but that was a pretty bright outlook compared to what horrible fates Bakewell had convinced herself that she and her cell-mates would experience only a few moments before. Her horrible and nonstopping mental horror stories had stressed her greatly (As had Jasmine, but she would never even think of telling the pegasus that.) and as such the current situation didn’t feel quite so bad. It was bad, of course, just not as bad as, say, slowly being ripped apart one limb at a time while a pegasus dripped some lispy science jargon like some sort of zebra water torture.

Bakewell stood along the hole and gestured for more ponies to file through; she would go last, just in case anypony got stuck and needed a shove. Actually… maybe she would go before Kestrel, just in case he got stuck and accidently sealed her into the room with his enormous catbutt, dooming them both to a very chunky salsa-y fate.

Seeing the size of the hole he was going to have to try squeezing through, Kestrel mentally frowned. Well...this'll be fun. Best to wait for the others to get through first before he tried this, and even then Kes was going to have to suck in his stomach and go in at an angle.

No reason to complain though, no time for that.

After the others had squeezed through the hole kestrel began his own journy out to freedom. He slid off his saddle bags and pushed them through first, then pushed on of his heavily muscled forelegs through the hole. Pushing, twisting, and sliding he managed to get through. A few more seconds to reattach his saddlebags and Kes was ready to go yet again.

Kira did not have to tooled twice to get moving, looking back a the bomb one more time she could guess about how big the explosion would be and they would need to cover a lot of ground to be completely safe from the upcoming explosion. It might not be the biggest hole but she managed to get though it without much problem.

"Lets get out of here." The gryphoness said as she ran as fast she could that was no time to wait if they where to far away from this place by the time it went off they would not be left of them. "We have get away from here NOW!"

When Dash saw his opportunity he bolted forward, flapping his wings and expertly tucking them in to fit through the doorway. He then flipped and stood on the ceiling, flapping his wings to maintain his position so he wouldn't be in the way of those without wings. He paused for a moment, also wanting to make sure all of their compadres would make it out of the room safely and quickly enough.

Scraps nodded back after Rodeo took the health potion, a bit amazed at how fast the big earth pony got his strength back and was able to assist the others in ramming down the wall.

Once the wall had a sizable enough hole for them to escape through; Scraps quickly followed the others through it, attempting to stick as close to Bakewell as possible, not wanting to risk her disappearing again.

Night-Shade felt weak, but when he saw Rodeo finally brake open the wall, he used what energy he had left to get moving. He was one of the last ones out, getting out just before Kestrel.

When Dash saw that everypony was pretty much clear from the room, Dash bolted away along with the rest of the group, using his natural-born flight ability to its fullest effectiveness. He was not going to die, not here, not today!

Tiffany cheered as they had an escape, she hadn't helped with it, but she was glad nevertheless, she'd taken the time to fold up the dress uniform, taking care to not tear or ruin it, she liked how it was nice and colourful, not to mention the fact that she was loaded with shiny things now.

But with freedom in their grasp, Tiffany rushed out and took to the sky, flying around the group before flying as hard as she could to escape... something, she didn't know what they were all rushing away from, but maybe it was a big "FWOOOOOSH", that would be bad if it was, so running was a good idea.

Shining Star managed to get up, and made her way to the hole in the wall as well. She took Jasmine by the hoof, and pulled her through with her. "Is that everypony?!" Rodeo asked, looking around. "Eeyup, that's everypony. Let's get the fuck outta here!" He said, turning and running at a full gallop, the group following after, or flying, or going whichever way they chose to get as far away as possible.

With a little distance between the group, and what turned out to be the maintenance building, a sudden explosion roared out across the grounds. A magnificent blast, followed by a shockwave chased the group as they ran, knocking everypony and griffon clean off their feet and out of the air. As everyone fell to the ground and skitted across the dirt, gathering wads of soil and dead grass as they did so, the flames from the explosion billowed up in the air. The heat set in, and singed everypony's fur a bit. After a few silent moments, debris began to rain down around them. Chunks of wood, metal, even a few pieces of unclaimed loot fell all around them like a light afternoon shower.

Rodeo recovered, and stood to his hooves, brushing himself off. "Everypony alright? Nopony hurt?" He turned back and looked at the crater where the maintenance building use to be. Now, there was a pillar of smoke rising from a large fire, surrounded by rubble and dust.

Sky groaned as she blown to the ground and looked to Rodeo as tried to stand from her belly on the ground, only groaning as the force blew her away and landed on her face. Sky could only lift her head up, only to be dazed by the explosion that took place for which she tried to roll over instead. But she soon got better and shook her head, standing on her hooves and popped her neck to look back to Rodeo. "Im good....i think?" She yelled to Rodeo, only to walk up to him and looked to see if any other pony needed help.

Bakewell stumbled and fell as the blast knocked her from her normally sturdy hooves. She quickly forced herself back onto her hooves and made her way over to Scrap, nudging him and making sure he was unharmed before trying to help him to his hooves.

“I’m fine.” She responded to Rodeo, talking slightly louder than needed due to the ringing in her ears.

Kestrel was tossed forward by the force of the blast his talons trying to get a good grip on the ground but failing. A quick flap of his wings and he managed to stabilize himself enough so that he could land.

He was a little unsteady however, his sensitive ears ringing and his body throbbing a bit from the impact of the pressure wave released by the explosion.

"Ow." He mused to himself shaking his head a bit to try and regain his hearing and orientation again.
