Throughout our adventures we've all made choices that defined who we were, played roles in events that shaped the wasteland around us. But what if we'd chosen differently, what if the road less traveled became route 66. The idea for this thread is fairly simple: what would have happened if we lost the Battle of Stableton. The change in character isn't just limited to that, you can pick decisions from your character's past, or any thread you might have participated in, and change them as well. The idea is to see just what you might have become, so have fun with the brainstorming and get creative.
In regards to the whole "how are we still alive if we lost" conundrum a little backstory: In the chaos of Stableton burning around you, you managed to stumble away from the battle. The sound of screams and gunfire echoing as you ran to escape the slaughter. Maybe you were one of the unlucky bastards to become a slave, but somehow have found your salvation after months in the hell of Fillydelphia. Most importantly you're alive, and it's time to face your demons, confront the nightmares of that day, and say goodbye to the friends you lost so long ago. On the one year anniversary of your newly constructed world being snuffed out in a more horrific way than you ever imagined, you and the rest of the survivors go to the ruins of the town. Not to remember, but to finally forget.
