Quaari is arrogant, self-centred, gung-ho, thinks lesser of ponies, and has no qualms doing dirty work. She is sharp, likes drinking and enjoys a good conversation. If she’s not working, you’d probably find her in the nearest drinking house. If she is working, she’ll take the job very seriously, after all, her job reputation is at stake, and that’s something valauble.

Quaari is self-centred. When it comes to deals she’ll look to see how it affects her above anything else. She’s elitist, considering herself and other griffons above ponies, and certainly above the filthy Diamond dogs. She also hates a debt, real or perceived. She’ll refuse assistance if it might result in the griffon owing anyone anything, possibly even favour. She is of course happy to accept the debts of others and will record each one, as with any other dealing in a small leather bound booklet she keeps close at talon.

When it comes to fighting, she likes using guns. She’s good with guns, and prefers rifles to pistols. She is merely competent at close up fighting, generally choosing to use her talons rather than a weapon. If a fight breaks out and opponents are likely to get close, she’ll choose to fly away and try and get into a position where she can fire.

“You ponies had your chance to rule Equestria, and look what you did with it. It’s time for a change in management, that’s what I’m saying.”

==History==
Quaari spent most of her youth shuffled about between the many caravan trains that dot the Equestrian wastelands. She doesn’t remember her parents; whether they died, disappeared, lost her, or she simply wandered away from them in the middle of the night, she doesn’t recall.

Not much more than hock high, she wandered into a small hamlet of ponies, and spent the first few weeks in the care of the local tavern keeper until they worked out what to do with her, or if her parents would turn up to claim her.

When it became clear that there was no-one looking for her, and the patience of the tavern keeper grew too thin, he pawned the young griffon to a caravan in exchange for free bed and board. The caravan too soon sold her off once they realised that the plan to raise the griffon as an effective and loyal guard was a rather long-term one, which would require the griffon to grow up first.

A few months later she was again in another caravan, after the first had lost patience with its investment. Soon after, she found herself in another caravan.

This pattern of being exchanged from caravan to caravan had a rather profound impact on Quaari. She learnt many tricks used in securing the best deals, how to cobble together any manner of scrap into something useful and how to maintain the caravans. She learnt at least some of just about every language in the wastes.

It also had a heavy impact on her self-worth and how she viewed the world, primed from a young age to be a guard because she was 'better' for that sort of thing. This became her default view for most things; she was simply 'better' than the ponies and diamond dogs the caravans were generally comprised of.

She also learned the importance of never turning down a task, job or role, especially if the caps were right. She quickly learned from many a shifty caravan master that morals and ethics were merely tools to hold one back, or in others, to make use of. And that it was important to simply do the job asked no matter how reprehensible it seemed.

As she slowly grew into a mouthy and arrogant adult, one day she simply took whatever meagre possession she had acquired over the years and left the caravan she was with, ready to make her own mark on the wastes. She wandered from job to job, never settling for too long, and most recently was a guard for a slaver camp near Stableton – until it was wiped out, at least.

Now she's in Stableton, ready to rebuild her life and strike out once again.
