==Personality==
Green is a rough and gruff person. Centuries of roaming the wastes have sapped much of his once humble farmer personality. He reacts to much of the wasteland with an uncurious air, preferring the quiet life of his graveyard to the life of adventure that so many young ponies seem to want to live.
He is still the rough around the ears farmer that he once was. He belches in the company of ladies, and makes loud, impolite jokes. He was brought up to believe in the will of Celestia, but time has twisted that into a bitter hatred for the Princess.
He likes his privacy, and a few of his neighbors, mostly Cotton and his wife. He hates loud, obnoxious ponies, and still harbors a juvenile dislike of broccoli. He has had his eye on his other neighbor, Swift Arrow.
The loss of his family hurts him to today, but the centuries have dulled it to a constant ache. However, Swift has helped to remove some of this pain, and once again he has cause to smile.
==History==
Green was born before the war, in a small farming village between Ponyville and Manehatten. He spent his foalhood playing in the fields with his friends. When he was old enough, he started to work those same fields, earning his cutie mark.
He lived a great many years on his farm. Springs signified planting, and summers were spent tilling the earth and keeping crows away. Each autumn he sold his produce, of which potatoes were his specialty.
He grew old, found love and had a family of his own. He stayed in those fields, working alongside his strong children, all the way up to the end.
Shortly before his 49th birthday, the world ended. He watched as his farm was burned, the fields withering. He wandered through the green snow until he collapsed. When he woke, he was undead.
He spent the next two centuries wandering. During that time, he found the unfinished remains of Stable 90. He pilfered a barding from them, and over time, he transformed it into a somewhat adequate armor. Eventually, he ended up in the small town of Hope.
There he set up shop as the town’s gravedigger. Unfortunately, he was kept busy, and made a tidy sum. He bought a shack in the cemetery, unaffected by the eerie environment. He had two neighbors: a rather mousey unicorn named Cotton, who lived in an abandoned house with his wife, Clairvoyance, just over the hill. The other was a somewhat attractive female ghoul pegasus named Swift Arrow, who lived above a bakery and sold 200-year old foodstuffs. She had his fancy, and they had gone on a few dates.
Nowadays, he spends his time working in his garden. He has managed to plant and grow a crop of potatoes, which he is very proud of. He has found companionship in the form of a rusted old Protectapony robot left out on a nearby hill. The robot, named M405, or just Four for short, has a strange personality that has mellowed with time. The ghoul talks about his day, and the robot responds with a philosophical air.
The days are lazy, for the wasteland. Few raiders have attacked, and it almost seems like the next few years are going to be good ones for the tiny town. However, Swift has run out of foodstuffs to sell again, and Simply Everything doesn’t have the supply it once did. Therefore, Green has volunteered to travel to the bigger town of Stableton in order to get the food.
Unfortunately, a thug ambushed him and stole his caps. Now that he has arrived in Stableton, he will have to find some work in order to pay for the shipment, as well as the escort back home…
