    Right, thinks time I started putting this in the planning stages and working out the squads. This is going to be a very difficult thread, just going to go ahead and say that now. Because of this I'm going to create two unique paths for each character to go down depending upon their build.

    Paths:

    Chaplain-
    Noncombat friendly, those with high med and science skill will thrive on this path. The emphasis will be on drama as apposed to action. Imagine the darkest episode of mash and you're close. Rewards and loadouts will be done accordingly.

    Soldier:
    What it says on the tin. Have high energy weapons or guns if you volunteer for this and expect the biggest challenge yet. Listen to your squad leaders when in this thread, they will have information you don't and a much higher chance of winning will come from this. Rewards and loadouts will be given accordingly. Also there is a chance to qualify for the 'spec ops' division of this path. This brings harder mission and enemies, but also better loadouts and loot.

    Please post which path you'd like to be on along with the paths corresponding skills.

    Tentative interest from me. I'm worried about being a lowly level 1 who won't be able to contribute meaningfully.

    Main skills are melee (42), repair (40) and science (40), so I guess I'm fine with either path? Slight preference for Chaplain, but I'm happy to go soldier if I need to.

    To clarify the two paths will be designed to challenge players with either combat or non combat skills. All combat skill (guns, energy weapons, explosives, etc.) heavy players should go with soldier. All noncombat skill (med, speech, science, etc.) heavy players should go with Chaplain. Playing in this thread in no way obligates a player to the Apostolov Luny in any way, and will in no way associate them with the factions future actions. Players will be treated as mercenaries and friends of Trails, nothing more nothing less. All players will get the fallowing base load outs depending upon what branch they choose.

    SOLDIER:
    Your choice of weapon:


    Hunting Rifle (.308) [Support]
    DM:52 AP Cost: 3 ST Req:6
    Ammo Cap.:5 Skill Req:50 Value:2200 Crit Multiplier x 2
    The powerful bolt-action hunting rifle is a reliable companion for many ponies out in the wasteland.

    Marksmare Carbine (5.56mm)
    DM:24 AP Cost: 2 ST Req:4
    Ammo Cap.:20 Skill Req:100 Value:5200 Crit Multiplier x 1
    A accurate scoped rifle that was often used by special forces during the war.

    AL Trooper Armor
    DT- 8 Effects- Guns +2 Endurance +1
    Value- 2250

    The average AL soldier can expect to wear the same armor that his father and granfather did. The Apostolov have been forced to scavenge for all of their materials, and armor always takes second priority to arms. Because of this the Apostolov Trooper Armor is tattered and patched together using scrap metal, well road signs, and string. Not the most protective armor, but it gets the job done.

    Combat Knife
    DM:15 ROF: ST Req:3
    Skill Req:50 Value:500 Crit Multiplier x 2
    An effective knife, once wielded by Equestrian soldiers

    And 2,000 caps.


    CHAPLAIN:

    Chaplain Lab Coat:
    DT- 5 Effects- +10 Med +10 Science

    The lab coat all Chaplains wear while on the job. It wont stop a bullet, but it suits their purposes just fine.

    7 of your choice of Skill mag
    20 health potions along with the recipe to make "Black Broth", a potent healing brew
    20 Med-X

    And 3,500 Caps

    Have Explosives of 70 now but will get it up to 100
    And is going to restat so I get Unarmed to at least 50 and up
