==Personality==
Generally abrasive, cocky, egotistic, snooty, and a tad bit racist. Floret will pick fun mentally or verbally at most things she doesn’t respect and some things that she does regardless of their danger. She generally isn’t so bad that social situations become impossible, though they may often become hard pressed. She seems to consider herself better than most other ponies in the wastes, and quite possibly a good number of ponies from back before the bombs fell as well. She’s quick to do things that will result in either glory or fame for herself or comedic embarrassment for others. Obviously Floret generally enjoys being around any pony foolish enough to look up to her, and hates being around those who constantly make a point of showing her up, though that isn’t to say she does not know how to take insults. All of her insults are not exactly bad-natured, but it’s hard to tell.

Calling her Fadaise is generally off-limits, and only particular ponies will be able to get away with it


While it’s certainly exaggerated, Floret’s bragging isn't one hundred percent hot air; she does know how to keep calm and self-sure in rough situations.


==History==
Floret doesn't really know where she was born, nor does she have many clues concerning the identity of her parents. The unicorn foal was separated from those who brought her into the wastes shortly after the little unicorn’s birth. Her parents, a duo of pre-war clothing garbed traveling merchants, ran a questionable chem-based trade. It was only a matter of time until a deal went bad and some of their more addicted and aggressive “clients” decided upon a course of violence. The two adults learned the importance of combat barding the hard way, were shot, beaten, tortured, and eventually killed. Little Floret was left beside the cold decomposing bodies of the ponies who brought her into the world. Why, after all, would you waste a bullet on a foal? The wasteland had a massive and ever-growing murder record and the young and innocent were its favorite victims.
Luck, however, was on little Floret’s side. An old scavenger from the nearby settlement of New Appleloosa happened upon the foal’s distressed crying before some hungry wasteland beast and, in a one and a million chance, decided that killing or ignoring the purple pony were not among the best solutions for her tears. He carried her safely to his home and raised his “little Fadaise” as best he could, instilling all the love and care that the wastes had forbidden his hereditary child, who had been claimed by the radiation laced dust long ago along with his wife.


Life in New Appleloosa was pretty comfortable for Floret, especially considering the other options presented by the equestrian wastelands. The purple unicorn discovered from a young age that she had a good deal of magical talent compared to many of the other unicorns. This talent, combined with her false father’s constant encouragement, served to fill the growing pony with hot air. Her self-focused elitist attitude was quick to form despite the scavenging trade she was learning. The purple pony loved impressing any other foals with her pretty magic, and so it was little surprise when her cutie mark appeared after magically summoning a nonphysical illusion of a flower she had seen in a scavenged pre-war book in front of a bunch of younger ponies. To her frustration, she has never been able to make a realistic illusion that was not a useless flower of some sort.

As rare a breed as little Fadaise’s adoptive father may have been in the wastes, he was old and certainly not immortal. One day, a short while after her sixteenth birthday, Floret came home after a multiple day long scavenging trip to discover that the wasteland, having finally given up on riddling the stallion with bullets, instead allowed time to off him. Floret ensured that he was buried, and had the prettiest flowers on his grave (At least until that disgusting ghoul bumped into Floret, breaking her concentration and by relation the spell).

The unicorn mare tried for a brief few years to continue life as though nothing had changed after the buck’s passing, but eventually began to feel unwelcome in the town. She chalked it up to jealousy and left the town. The life of a scavenger is perfectly livable without a set home, even if one does not get a bath nearly as often as they deserve.
