==Personality==
Hark is a loner. Not to say that she doesn't enjoy the company of others, just she enjoys being alone. She finds a sort of comfort in it, as a coping mechanism for having been alone for years at a time without many meaningful relationships. When around other ponies, her demeanor tends to be one of a smartass. While not having many witty remarks, she'll still smirk at stupidity and error, sometimes chiding whoever made said error. Hark has no qualms with murdering another being. In fact, she sometimes enjoys it. To her, the death of her enemies is only furthering along her goal of becoming the most superior intellect in the wastes.

Being the sort of pony that she is, Hark's goal is to become one of the sole bastions of knowledge in the wastes. To her, the knowledge of the ancients is precious, fascinating, and endangered. In fact, intellect altogether is endangered to her. She sees herself as saving it, albeit for the personal reason of feeling superior to everyone else in that one manner.

==History==
Hark lived a relatively normal life (for having a roving trader family). A few years here, a few years there, learning the ropes of shooting people in between places, as well as the ropes of trading. Her life was good for a while, until she was about 19.

BUUUT, before we get to that, let it be known that she's always had a knack for gleaning information from things, whether it be terminal, book, or sentient being. So, when she astonished her parents by blowing through an abnormally difficult terminal, she got her cutie mark.

At age 19, her parents were killed while Hark was out scavenging. Having heard the gunshots, she rushed to the scene, to find the corpses of her mother and father. She promptly left the scene, knowing enemies were nearby and the grief too much to bear. She became a loner.

Well, suffice to say, she got over it. Dead family was dead, and nothing could be done. She couldn't have stopped whoever had done said act (considering the size and frequency of injury on the corpses), so she eventually branded it as a 'not her fault' situation.
