Roid appears more of a beast than a pony to most, and his meager intelligence doesn't help any. What he lacks in skills and abilities, he makes ups for in enthusiasm.
==History==
When Roid Rage was little, he was small, very weak and fragile colt. He was the son of a poor family of sharecroppers of 12 ponies. At 6 years old, he was diagnosed by a traveling doctor as a mentally handicapped.
When the soil began turning up very little on their farm in appaloosa, the family was forced to close up shop and head to better land. However, the road they took led straight through Ponyville. Once in raider territory, a loud battle roar shook the caravan, with a stream of bullets and hollers forcing the family to run for their lives.
Roid was sleeping in the back, and the shaking of the cart threw him into a pharmacy window. He crashed his head, knocking him unconsciousness. He laid there for days, when he awoke, he was alone.
He was hungry, he was cold, and nopony answered his calls. He began to cry.
Then he found a toy, a small jar, he made a game of throwing them agaisnt the fall, till they popped and dropped candy.
A week went by, then found by a different group of raiders who was entertained with the dumb, drugged up colt.
They treated him horribly, starving him, mocking him. Still, they were the only family he had now, and he didn't think there was anything else and thus was.
With time, he began to get stronger, and tougher, always fighting, always enduring the urge to feel the burn of exercise. He even began earn a tinge of respect from the other raiders. But mostly they awed him with fear, ensuring a long, enduring career as a raider.
Then one day it all came crashing down when Roid Raid untied a prisoner in exchange for a case of Steroids and Rage, one slave unleashing the other 73 in the time it took Raid to crash.
The Raiders tried to punish Roid Raid, assigning a set of lashings, but with the raiders laughing and humiliating him, he snapped and broke free of his restraints and killed several as he made his escape.
None chose to follow him.
Now he works as a muscle, ponies come up to him offering him jobs, usually in payment of food and bedding, but more often in the form of drugs.
