A Normal Day... [Closed][Finished]

Techno heard a bang followed by a thump, presumably of a raider falling, and assumed that's where the others were. He turned and walked in the general direction. "Guys, you over here?"

"I wish this were the armory..." Starry grumbled, as she checked the pipbuck. "It looks like the spell matrix on this one is offline, there's no way to tell if it's broken or not until we reactivate it."

Starry stripped the pony of his leather attire. It would be neigh impossible to put the clothes on with the rocket launcher roped around her, and in truth, she had no idea how to undo the knot. She'd have to either find something to cut it with or have Trails untie it later. She threw the leather outfit over her flank, where it would at least cover part of her, rather than stuffing it in her saddlebags.

Silver Hoof nearly gagged on the smell of shit in the room, he reached for the PipBuck on the foreleg of the green pony, he didn't check it beyond it lighting up. He was happy about it. He declothed the outfit off the pony and apologized to him as well. He ran out of the room to get away from the smell, without even looking at what he had obtained.

Roedeo had retrieved the pistol from the raider's holster, a thich trail of blood running from his temple down, and the bloodied pipe left on the debis littered floor. Upon hearing another pony approaching, and then a voice- Rodeo's brain instantly assumed "raider".

As the new pony approached, Rodeo pointed the barrel of his new 9mm at the side of the bright blue pony's face. A moment passed as Rodeo simply staired in curiosity.

"You ain't no raider," Rodeo commented. Another moment passed. "Who are ya? Are ya followin me?"

Starry stayed in the room a while longer. She rummaged through the various cabinets and drawers in the infirmiry, stuffing as much as she could into her saddlebags. She had no idea what any of this stuff was, but Techno should be able to sort through it and pick up the valuables.

Starry still didn't know if there were raiders about the place, her party was lucky to suffer so little injury, but these raiders could seriously hurt somepony, just look what they did to the dragon.

"The dragon!!" Starry shouted, before pelting across the room and leaping out the door. "Come on, Silver! We've got to get to our doctor and that dragon as soon as possible!" Starry knew the dragon's condition was stable, at least, but she didn't want him to suffer any longer than necessary.

It occurred to her as she left the room just how badly it smelled. She hadn't noticed it too much while she was in there, her mind perhaps distracted by other things, but as she left everything started to smell distinctly nicer.

Techno froze as the other pony pointed the gun at him. "Um, please don't shoot me, I'm just looking for my friends. And no, I'm not a raider. Just a peaceful doctor. Please don't shoot me." he said backing away slowly, ready to fire the spell if necessary.

Rodeo turned his head to the side slightly, and pondered. He definitely didn't look like a raider, or anypony very dangerous at all. His eyes narrowed. A doctor. Could be. He lowered the gun and shoved it into his new holster strapped around his neck and hanging against his side. He knew he was taking a risk, but felt his hooves would be able to buy him enough time to retrieve his pistol should need be.

"Alright, Ah guess Ah believe ya. Don't try nuthin' funny, though; ya might get uh bullet in ya," he cautioned, taking a step back. "Who are yer friends. Why are ya'll here?" he questioned with his deep, bellowing voice. He lifted a hoof, and rubbed at a semi-fresh cut across his face, his red coat and green mane which were near enough to get soaked in blood, had been, and had long since dried out. Same with the cut on his face, which had looked as though it had scabbed over only hours prior.

The touch itself causing it to slowly seep blood once more. Rodeo pulled his hoof back and observed the blood on it. "Damn," he swore, but went to ignore it by setting his hoof back down and returning his attention to the pony before him.

Techno relaxed just a little as the green pony holstered his weapon, but kept ready and wary. "My friends and I are here to scavenge explosives and the such, but one of my group members is looking for pip-bucks. I just tagged along because one of 'em's bound to get hurt. Now who are you?" he asked, remaining perfectly calm and with a straight face.

Rodeo's eyes narrowed a bit. He wasn't very good about telling his name. "Only two kinds uh ponies get ta know mah name. The kinds that pay me, and the kinds that get their faces knocked in..." Rodeo's cut was bleeding heavier now, running down his face and dripping off his chin. He turned away from the pony and looked down the hall behind him.

He turned back. "Now listen ta me, Ah'm lookin' fer somethin' very important ta me that them raiders took. Either you and yer friends help me, or stay the fuck out of my way," he barked, then started to turn back and trot down the hall way before stopping. He stood still for a moment, then turned back slowly. "Ya know, on second thought- Ah think Ah could use yer help... Ah may er may not know where all the merchandise my employer Ah was travelin' with was put by the raiders... Along with my important items. So here's mah deal; you and yer friends help me find that stuff, ya'll can have uh bit of it. What'ya think?" he offered, holding a hoof to his cut once more.

"Well, that's really conditional." Techno said, considering the extended hoof. "And quite a bit vague. I'm not exactly the leader of my group, so I can't go around making deals I can't guarantee my friends will agree with. That and even if I went with you alone, I'm not not exactly capitol at combat. However, if you were to join up with our group for a spell, we could possibly strike a deal about finding that equipment. We're probably scouring the building anyways."

Techno extended his hoof. "So, you can come with me to wherever my friends are, and we'll strike a deal there."

Rodeo glanced down the hallway behind the pony, then turned back to him and gave him a considering look as he thought. He was unsure if he should face them again after tackling one of them, but perhaps being with this pony could keep them from attacking. Rodeo shrugged.

"Alright," he finally said, reaching out with his bloody hoof and taking the pony's extended hoof with it. He meant to do it too, just to mess with him. "Take me to yer leader," he joked.

Techno chuckled and shook the blood off his hoof. "Well, then, let's go find 'em." he said, as he turned and walked in the other direction. And then stopping. "Sooooo you saw them before, right? Which way?"

"Hey doc! Where are you at?" Starry shouted, as she galloped down the hallway towards the exit. She intended to allow him to rummage through what she had looted from the clinic. "I've got your medical supplies! Now let's go help that dragon!"

Techno stopped. "Scratch that, I think I hear my entourage down there. Shall we go?" he said, before turning and walking back towards the exit.

Rodeo stood quiety and glared blankly forward before he began down the hall toward the source of the voice. "Reckon they might be down there," he said very sarcastically, trotting slowly down the hall.

He stopped, then turned back quickly. "Wait... she say somethin' bout uh dragon?" He asked out of disbelief that they could possibly have an actual dragon in their little squad.

Starry found her way out of the building, and back to the dragon. "I'm back! And check out what I found!" She emptied her saddlebags, pouring out heaps of what appeared to be broken medical equipment. Still, there was probably something valuable amongst all the junk.
"I'm sure the doctor will find something in here to patch you up with!" she reassured him.
"Doctor!!" she called, a little worried that Techno wasn't outside, and it had occurred to her to pull out her Eyes Forward Sparkle(EFS). She wasn't seeing any red dots on the radar, which put her more at ease.

Silver trotted away from the infirmary in a different direction than Starry had. He was leaving bloody hoofprints behind as he went along, although he didn't even notice. Silver was focused on finding more light, and getting back to the meetup point. He twisted and turn through this doorway and that, until he finally reached the dragon. He sighed and sat down. He really didn't have anything to say. Honestly, he was hurting from being trampled on.

Inside the armory are three sealed gun cases, inside those cases ammo, a 9mm handgun, a Caravan shotgun, Equestrian Armor, and finally a torn bag that holds 300 caps. There are several other cases littered about the room but the door is blocked, so when it does open it will require force to get in.

Trails slipped on the Equestrian armor, stuffing his well worn leather armor into his bags. The caravan shotgun and pistol had both clearly seen their better days, but were still usable. He slung the shotgun across his back and exited the armory. Stopping only once to make sure his new caps were secure inside his pack.

When he exited the door he was greeted by the sight of Tech being escorted by a bloody and armed stranger. Trails whipped his head and brought the shotgun to his shoulder. He cocked and sighted it in one fluid motion before shouting. "Drop the fucking gun, get on the ground, and maybe I wont shoot you."

Rodeo stopped, and turned his head slowly to the new pony pointing a shotgun at him. The blood continued to run down his face and drip onto the ground. Rodeo stood dead still, searching the pony's eyes. He had a look that seemed serious enough.

"Son... Ya best be ready ta use that if yer pointin' it at me." He turned back to Techno. "This one uh yer friends?" he asked before turning back to the new pony once more. "Now you listen ta me, partner; Ah ain't partial ta startin' up uh mess. Ah just wanna get what is mine back, n' Ah don't need ta be killin' nopony who gets ballsy enough ta stand in mah way just cus he felt tough doin' it, leave me be."

With this said, he turned forward again, and slowly began walking back down the hallway.

Trails laughed to himself. Big bad pony's gonna kick my ass. Trails honestly didn't care about the pony's intent anymore, this was a matter of establishing the ground rules. And the first rule he always set was dominance.

"Oi." he shouted. "Mr. Hardass." Trails fired to the right of the pony's head, turning a nearby locker into a twisted pile of scrap.

Rodeo stopped again and stood for a moment with his back to Trails. He thought. He could turn around and whip out his 9mm, but he knew the pony had one more shell he could use to make him look just like the locker. He couldn't approach him to disarm, he would be shot. If he kept walking, he would probably be shot anyway. Clearly, Rodeo had entered some sort of contest over dominance simply by walking down a hallway. He would have to talk his way into an advantage... Simple enough.

Rodeo peeked back over his shoulder at the pony, then turned about in place to face him. His bangs, sopping with fresh blood swung about and slapped against his coat.

"Pony, you must be four kinds uh crazy." He paused. "Ah like that. But you seem ta have made the mistake that Ah give uh damn who ya are with yer little shotgun."

Rodeo looked down to his holster, then back up at the pony. He snickered. "Heh, alrighty then. Ya think yer so tough?" he asked, biting the buckle of his holster and letting it fall from his shoulders into the dirt. "Let's see ya fight like uh real stallion. Any filly from some vault can shoot somepony- show me how tough ya really are," he challenged, narrowing his eyes and smirking, fresh blood soaking the fur on the right side of his face.

Trails laughed loudly at the pony's showboating.

"How fucking stupid do you think I am?" Trails chocked out between his laughs, being careful to keep his gun steady. "You think just because somepony tries tough talking me I'll give up an obvious advantage? I'm not a chem baked raider. Here's what's going to happen: you walk down that hall nice and slow while I keep you in my sights. Then when we all get in a nice open position where my friends and I can decide whether I waste you."

Rodeo smirked, then looked around a second. He turned back and looked down the hall. When he returned his gaze to Trails, he didn't have too much of a plan. This was going nowhere at a dreadfully slow pace.

"Alrighty then, smart pony; ya got me," he said, placing a hoof on top of the strap to his holster. "Mind tellin' me where Ah can find the rest uh them raiders? Ah got uh bone ta pick with 'em and time's uh waistin'."

"Where in that ultimatum did you hear question hour?" Trails retorted. "Keep walking. We decide you're on the up and up, you can ask all the questions you want. Until then unless you want to experience a shit ton of bb's going through you at 1165 feet per second you'll do as I say and nothing else."
