Excessive Force Authorized

The group flew for a good hour or so, keeping chatter to a minimum as anticipation grew into annoyance.

The pony on Sparks back squirmed as the flowing air cut through her mane and held tightly to his neck, combined with having another mare direct pressed beneath him, he focused swayed a little as his concentration waned.

"Sorry about that... turbulence." he growled

No sooner then Sparks had finished his sentence about "Turbulance" automatic fire rings out from the bushes... and two ponies erupt from the sands firing to add their shots to the suppressive torrent that nearly envelops the squad from Stableton.

Luck was on the Stableton strike force side as the shots only grazed the Pegasai and the ambush was seemed prematurely sprung, by the raiders, too excited to get their kills for the day. However given more time, who knows if they might think to aim rather then lay suppressive fire.

"I don't mind at all. I'm rather light, so I hope I'm no trouble," Gentle replied. She got a ride from the kind pegasus.

Suddenly, bullets started whizzing by. At first, Breeze was ready to panic, but she calmed herself quickly. "Oh, ponyfeathers," Breeze whispered to herself. "Am I glad I brought my medical supplies."

Dash who had been quiet for pretty much the entire time, startled as shots whizzed up at them. He grabbed the grip of his 9mm and pulled it out, out of habit he waited for a minute, expecting somepony to give them orders, but he then realized that in this situation, they really didn't have much of a command structure. 'Not so good...' he thought, and prepared himself for battle.

Jack did well throughout the flying journey, keeping up and managing to do some flying maneuvers to pass the time. His wing felt stronger then before, but he was pushing it already. He flew great distances, such as going to Pegasus, and other places, but the wing still needed to be tested out a few more times and strengthened for extreme flight. Once Jack heard bullets whizzing past, he tried his best to avoid any and all bullets. He had to stay out of this fight. Unless... "Hey, Arc, any chance you can fire at them at this range?" He said.

[Attempt to dodge any bullets fired at them, 44 Flight and 5 Agility]

Sky flying through the air like a ordinary job, now that she could fly somewhere with a large group of ponies. She seemed enough to fly with, til bullets started to flare out form the ground. A gun fight already and Sky was beginning to enjoy the peace of flying, without being shot at. Since she had no one on her back, Sky quickly pulled out her 10mm Smg from her side. And fired back at the group.

Arc started to dislike how the situation was evolving.

"The fuck i can't, Jack!", Arc yelled,"Not with this peashooter, get us down, then keep them busy so i can get close enough to actually have chance hitting them!"

"I'm going to die in aircrash. How about that."

Sparks looked for ground, somewhere he could land and drop off his non-flying cargo.

"We can't stay up here, we got to take cover!" Sparks roared as fell out of the sky toward the ground.

Using his body as a shield, he dropped the two unicorns down, "Get to cover, NOW!"

Flying in no time with breeze on his back, the last thing he wanted was for raiders to be shooting at him. " this is captain Dawn speaking, were about to have an Emergency landing, if you could please hold on tightly to any personal belongings...... This is gonna be a bumpy ride." He joked trying his best to lighten up the fact that they were getting shot at. Bracing himself he began to tip downward at the first thing that looked like it could serve as cover.

Sawdust held on tight to Sparks as they flew. It had occurred to her that this was insanity, being carried around by a dragon, through the sky. She tried to remember when, where and why she had agreed to such a clearly mad idea. Then again for not the first time in the flight she remembered why when she traced the claws holding her back up to the dragon they were attached to.

The third time this thought occurred it was interrupted by gunfire, a great many bullets whizzing by. She frowned at the waste, "Stupid Raiders! The effective range of an SMG is in the dozens not hundreds of feet!" Ass her ride came close to the ground Sawdust dismounted by a firm wiggle and dropped to the ground with a fluttering thud. Then it was just a matter of dashing to the nearest rock outcropping or large pile of scrap.

There she would prep her pistol for use, sure she could go with her own SMG, but frankly she liked the control and ammunition conservation of the pistol.

Dash dove toward an area a little ways away from the raiders to give himself a little breathing space. He allowed himself a bit of leeway, if only to not be completely winded when he did land. After he did he crouched low and took aim with his 9mm, he snapped off a few rounds at the nearest Raider, the first of the two scouts...

Jack flew down towards the ground, trying his best to keep the passenger on his back safe.. His saddlebags rattled from all the wind that was hitting them, and then pulled back, attempting to land.

The Raiders turned and fired upon the dragon as he landed, seeing something that large land near by tends to freak out all but the most disciplined of troops. Much to their disappointment the bullets don't seem have any noticeable effect on the dragon beyond keeping him from turning around.

Sawdust, not wasting any time, finds boulder to position behind and get her bearings. With a deep breath she refocuses herself and pulls out her 9mm pistol.

Dawn Blaze skillfully finds cooperative air and nimbly get out of the way of the leaden cloud of death. He lands softly despite having a mare on his back. The two find a refrigerator half buried in the sand and make use of it as cover.

The landing is rough, and makes it difficult to spring from that position, luckily Sparkfire the brunt of the impact. While he tries to gather his wits about him, he is welcomed by a swarm of angry, metal bees. However, his thick hide repels them like rain off of a ponies back. Immobile and isolated for now, he is luckily safe within his own skin.

Concentrating on her past experiences, Sky aims her gun and squeezes the trigger. Her shots ring true as one unfortunate scout is tagged in the neck and mouth with her automatic fire, causing him to spasm wildly before falling backward.

Dash is able to maneuver himself and withdraw his weapon, and give a quick three round burst into the other scout pony. Clipping both his front legs and stunning him.

Jack, not seeing a landing that isn't out in the open, manages to pull up, evading the thoughts of the otherwise preoccupied raiders and give Arc a better view of the battlefield. With his Pegasus aided vantage point he can see that the bushes firing upon Sparkfire contain 3 raiders wearing camouflage.

"Fuck me sideways! A'right Jack, change of plans, we'll try to cover Spark, get over those bushes near where he landed and try to keep steady!", yelled Arc, as he barely managed to keep grip on Jack during his sharp ascend.

Dawn smiled "well that wasn't too bad" he said to himself pulling out his 9mm pistol and aiming it at the raiders shooting at spark " now shit gets seriose" he popped out of cover firing a few rounds at the enemy raiders hoping that one of the rounds atleast hit their target.

Sky to see a raider fall from attack only prompted her attack again, she only grinned at the work she did. She aimed again at the raiders, one was injured and the other 3 still alive. She took her aim and fired at the 3 uninjured raiders, no point to attack one that is near death.

Jack couldn't aid Arc aside from his 9mm, which would be impossible to get without risking the user and probably dropping them down to their deaths if he failed to get it. He would not try that and kill a friend if he did fail. He moved away from the battlefield for a moment once Arc fired, and then went over the bushes and tried to give Arc another view.

Dash smirked a bit as he saw his shots connect he also saw that the other ponies were doing quite well in their counterattack as well. The raiders seemed to be occupied on Sparkfire, so Dash took his opportunity and readied himself to fire on the wounded scout once again, the more lightly armed bushwackers would probably be easier to take prisoner anyways.

Sawdust's eyes flickered across the battlefield. She counted the remaining targets and then began by targeting the pony that had decided not to hide inside a bush. Well assuming that the bugger lasted long enough to be shot at. Failing that, she aimed at the center of the mobile bushes and filled them with lead.

[Shooting, 9mm, guns 47. Target Priority, Scout then bushwhackers]

Pop! Pop! Pop! Goes his pistol, but despite Arc's best attempts he cannot seem to aim properly, and his shots go wide and only one lands near the intended bushes.
Dawn focuses on where the shots are coming from and lets loose a 3 shot burst. Sadly there are no groans nor moans of pain to confirm a hit, only the rustle of leaves and gunfire.

Sky fires a single shot into the bushes but after hearing the rustling of jimmies, adjusts her aim and fires a second shot, this time she is rewarded with a yelp of pain as the bushwaker rolls out of the bushes, exposing himself to future shots.

Jack continues on his flight path, staying out of sight, out of mind of the raiders, despite the best efforts of his passenger.

Dash tries to go for a quick three round burst, aiming for where Sky aimed. He manages to finish off the exposed raider with a shot to chest, shoulder and helmet before leaning back into cover. In a nick of time too as he is greeted by a hail of bullets from one of the raiders.

The injured and isolated scout may have gotten the drop on the flying party by emerging from the sands but with some luck Sawdust manages to return the sneaky raider back to the sands with a shot to the face and two shots to the back.

After seeing his bullets bounce off the dragon, one of the Raiders stops firing, and searches for a new target, satisfied with the dark earth pony, he lets loose a fullisade of shells at him, his timing barely off and narrowly missing Dash in favor of the cover in his way.

The second raider, still fires upon the dragon, too focused on the obvious to notice any other targets that are hiding behind cover.

The last of the Raiders rises to get a better shot on Sawdust only to knocked out of his cover and further perferated with slugs.

Sparkfire tried to advance on the annoying ponies with the automatic weapons, but he was greeted with more shells buzzing at his head. Not being able to turn around without exposing his face, he shuffled slowly backwards toward the source of the impacts, hoping that he wasn't getting in anyponies line of fire...

"Jack! Turn around and give ma another run, try it this time closer!"

Jack did as he said, getting closer to the bushes, but seeing nopony else in his line of sight. "Im not sure theres anypony else there."

Sky satisfied with the raider dead, moved on to her next target which was the raider attacking the dragon. The raider being to busy, he wouldn't mind a couple bullets into his chest. Sky still flew around, since it was easier than landing and then to fire back. She aimed her 10mm Smg and fired at the raider.

Dawn frowned, his shots not having hit a target. Looking out of his cover he saw a bullet hit one of the enemies, a hail of bullets following, all aimed at the black pony. Seeing where the bullets were coming from clearly Dawn aimed his weapon and fired off another round of bullets.
