Excessive Force Authorized

Gentle Breeze hesitated, realizing that the ponies (and dragon) weren't doing well without her help. With another moment of hesitation, she took out her 9mm and loaded it. I'm not great with guns, she thought to herself. But it's worth a try. My aim is usually pretty okay....

Gentle Breeze, on the ground behind some cover, began rushing for anything else that looked as if it could serve as cover that was closer to the raiders. Here goes nothing.

Not naturally disciplined in her rate of fire, Sawdust felt no need to unduly mark for death particular ponies. Instead she focuses her shots on whichever pony was most out in the open, Raider pony that is, the others had yet to show the kind of hostility that deserved lethal force. The yellow mare however knew they were all capable of it. If they were capable of chaining up as powerful and majestic a being as a dragon, then they were more than capable of trying to tie her up and sell her to the highest bidder.

That thought however was beside the point as he doll silently reminded her, there were obviously and undisguised hostiles before her, she could deal with the hidden hostiles later. If it ever came to it.

Using his massive arms to protect his face, Sparks marches forward providing a means to an inevitable end.

Sky quickly changes her targets and fires off another quick burst, Ra-tat-tat-TaT. As bullets fill the bush that the raider was hiding, A string of profanity confirms that the Bushwhacker was hit, but is not out.

Diving forward, Gentle Breeze finds her hoof caught on a piece of garbage. With a sigh, she brushes herself off and quickly spies a destroyed wagon and races to it. Bracing herself against the wreckage, spends her time aiming and fires a single shot. She knows she hits from the sound of flesh being torn and more profanity being spewed from the lips of the blasted raiders.

Rather then jump to a new location, Blaze takes his time and levels his gun, using the space available to better balance and aim. He focuses his eyes and fires a single shot. "CRACK!" goes the bushes as another bushwacker falls out of his cover.

Eager to contribute, Sawdust fired upon the pony that just fell out of cover spasming, filling it with holes and seizing the uncontrolled movements.

Jack, despite his doubts, flys closer to the battlefield as Arc instructed and is rewarded with the sound of gunfire near his head. Luckily the ringing leaves soon after the shots stop.

Despite his comrade's best efforts, and his own, Arc's shot get closer to his mark.The intended bushes expel two slavers, one falling backwards and another charging toward the group's dragon with something in his mouth.

"Fuckin hell, if I'm going to die, I'm taking some of you with me!" The injured Raider shouted as in one fluid motion, he dropped his 10mm smg, pulled a couple metal apples out of his bag with his wing, yanked out the pins with his teeth and charged into the slow moving Dragon.

In a flash of light, noise and smoke the suicidal Pegasus disappears and is replaced with a pink mist. Sparkfire is thrown straight back into the boulder that Sawdust was hiding behind. He is smoking, covered in gore and has many bits of shrapnel imbedded into him.

Sparkfire marches forward ignoring the small arms fire thanks to his Dragon hide and thick skin.

Sky lands some clean hits in the shoulders of the Raider pony in the bushes, dealing 2(16-6)=20 damage to the raiders torso.

Gentle Breeze nearly misses the same Raider but manages to score a hit. dealing 1(14-6)=8 damage in the right "arm".

Blaze scores a critical hit on both perceiving the exact location of one of the raiders and for giving that poor raider's brain a little fresh air. 1(instakill)

Saw Dust eager to fill something with lead and bring an end to this conflict, fires on the first raider she spotted. The one that fell out of his hiding hole, spasms postmortem.

Jack successfully maneuvers himself despite his encumbered self into a more favorable position.

Arc's bullets may have not caused damage, but they did provide the suppressive fire needed to finally cause the last raider to snap.

The last raider, in a single act of malice, spite and cruelty, charges into Sparkfire and detonates 2 fragmentation grenades near Sparkfire dealing (125)(.75) = 94 - 13 = 81 x 2 = 162! damage, is deafened, blinded and stunned from the blast.

A satisfying crack rang out, and that was all he really needed to hear, a smile slowly forming on his face as the gore splashed out from the bushes. Taking cover again his head began to wander off it's not common for raiders to camp out in the middle of the wasteland for no particular reason he checked the ammunition in his gun, it was enough to go for another shot and there aren't any trade routes......... At least I think there aren't.......so why would they.......

Jumping out of cover and aiming his weapon again That is unless......... And that's when the obscene shouts of an enraged pony and the sound of pins bieng pulled hit his ears "oh no." The loud explosion brought a familiar ringing into his ears, the shock causing him to shake lightly. Shaking his head in order to re-steady himself, he looked out to check the damage. The large dragon having taken the full force of the attack.

The white mare he had been giving a ride flashed into his mind.......... CRAP SHE HAS MEDICINE!! He scrambled to his hoofs as fast as he could and searced for the white mare hoping she still wasn't dissoriented. Finaly finding her by a destroyed wagon "ummm..... Hey you!" he called out not knowing her name "I dont't mean to be rude but the dragon really needs medical attention....... NOW!!!!!" this was gonna be a long trip......

She was just finishing off the last raider when the explosion went off so nearby. The shattered remains of the raider exploded mostly away from her, leaving her face and fore legs almost free of raider guts. The secondary impact of the dragon on her boulder though knocked her down.

In a flash she was back up, sighting for more moving hostiles. However said hostiles never made their entrance. Instead there was a dragon less than a meter from her, his face torn the hell up. Fortunatly this was one of her more lucid days and instead of calling out for her Father, the Medic half of her Parent's lost dynamic Duo, she yelled, "MEDIC!"

Gentle Breeze had shot something! HAHA!

But before she got too excited, she heard a huge BANG and got somewhat disoriented, but realized quickly that SparkFire was injured. Badly. She panicked a bit, but before she could let it get to her too much, ponies began calling out for her. "My name is Gentle Breeze! I'll be right there!"

She pulled out her medicinal kit and began a gallop to the dragon. She began treating his wounds. She didn't really mind the gore; she, her special talent being writing and sketching, had drawn and written plenty of gore. She was still saddened that ponies had to die, though...

Sky turned her head to the sound of an explosion, Spark was fell to the ground and hit against a boulder. Sky had no idea what the last raider did to make Spark fall to the ground, she no time to ask. With the raiders gone and Spark on the ground, she landed on the ground next to Breeze and Sawdust. Surveying the damage done by the raider to Spark, Sky could see his bleeding face. "Gentle if you need any help, im here. I have limited knowledge on medical pratice."

Jack landed by Sparkfire, seeing the pegasus and a earth pony that tried to help him. They weren't going to lose him now, especially since he has to find his love. Jack set Arc down carefully, and ran over to the dragon. Grenades were incredibly strong and if used right, they can cause catastrophic damage.

Grinning at the sight of the ponies helping each other Dawn looked over at the dead raider bodies, trotting over to them he began to search them in hopes of finding so ammo or spare supplies, or if his luck held true...... more explosives

That was... unexpected, but in a way, a logical ending, Arc wondered if he would do the same in case he was surrounded, outnumbered and without a way to escape. But, as much as thoughts about one's heroic last stand suicide were interesting, there were still four enemies that should be checked to be sure that they are really dead. Also, getting more advanced weapon would be nice too, or some ammo...

Dash got out from cover and took in a deep breath. Another battle, another victory, another while he would stay alive. Dash trotted over to the Raider Scout he had killed and searched him, obviously visible was the Scout's 10mm SMG. He had to say that it was quite a welcomed change from the usual 9mm he had been walking around with so far. He looked around to the others, he had put the most bullets into this particular raider so he naturally figured that he had the most rights to everything on its person.

Jack notices that despite the grenades, Sparkfire is still whole. His scales barely broke and the blood belonging to the Raider. Also the Shrapnel is merely inbeded into Sparkfire like wooden splinters.
Success, after rooting around the Raider ambush point

Dash and Dawn find the weapons that the bushwhackers were using. checking their saddle bags he finds a total of 2 grenades, and an extra clip. Further examination, yeilds 4 canteens of water, a Stim pack and some drugs.

Sawdust is first on the scene and reassure Sparkfire, that he is going to be alright. Still suffering from the after effects of two grenades, he gibbers in response.
Sky rests her hoof on Gentle's, calming her down and together they help Sparkfire get patched up.

Still excited from combat Gentle Breeze trots over to Sparkfire, but finds that her damn hooves wont stay still, worst yet she keeps forgeting basic steps. It isn't till Sky helps that she is able to calm down and get back on track.

Sparkfire lies against the cracked boulder, breathing but barely, still incoherent, reacts to the swarm mares drunkedly as they come to his aid.

Arc finds the weapons that the raiders were using, 3 10mm Smg (half a clip in them) and 2 9mm smg(two-thirds full)

Sky is still with gentle and Spark to try to help with taking out the shrapnel and to help calm down gentle, This dragon is tuff and no doubt about it she will help him out. Sky didn't need any of the weapons the others looted off the raiders, although they seemed to get a small stash of chem chems off them. Sky could take it and make good profit of resell them at the market, Sky thought she would leave Breezes side for a second to grab all the chems there was.and to give the health potion to breeze for later use, for she was the team medic.

Arc packed all the guns raiders used to attacked them. They were not in need of the anymore. Unfortunately, none of these weapons suited Arc, he knew he could do more harm than good with SMG's, but in the end, they could be sold. 20 9mm and 15 10mm bullets were nice addition too. Unfortunately, the injury of the dragon...

Arc trotted to Sky and Gentle.

"Is there anything i can do to help?"

Gentle Breeze took the potion gratefully. Taking a few deep breaths to keep her adrenaline stabilized, she patched up Spark's surprisingly few injuries alongside Sky. Gentle, after finishing patching up the dragon, went and took a 9mm bullet to replace the one she shot.

"There isn't much left to do, Arc, but thanks. He's just dazed and such from the blast. He should be fine in a little while. We should rest for a bit, though, and make sure all of our pegasi and our dragon are fit to fly."

Dash looked over his newly acquired 10mm SMG, pretty much in good working order. All he needed was some more ammo for it. He went over to Arc Weld, "I don't suppose you'd be willing to part with some of that 10mm ammo would you? My father told me how to shoot one of these, I'd be worth alot more if I had more ammunition for it rather than continuing on using this 9mm pistol."

Jack sat down, looking at everypony that was tending to the dragon and just plain talking. The show had to go on the road, or in the skies apparently. When the dragon was okay, they should move.

Arc dug into his bags and levitated out the half empty magazine to Dash.

"Fifteen bullets left in it, make them painfully worthwhile, Dash.", Arc said with a smile.

Sparkfire wavered as he came to, the banages wraped carefully around some vital spots so a healing potion would heal him improperly.  He could feel it's psudeomagic slowly mend his ruptured cells and slowly bring him back to his senses.   

"watch out!" he he shouted trying to react to a blast that wasnt there. Coming out of the concussion emduced haze. He gave the dragon equalivent to a blush and a whimper.  He was glad to be surrounded by friends. 

"sorry about that, I guess I underestimated these raiders. We will need to be more careful if they are willing to pull a stunt like that. " he puntuated with a coughing fit. 

He turned to see gentle breeze tending to his wounds. He could see the guilt on her face. "I want to thank you again Ms. Breeze you saved my life once more." 

Hearing the comment about waiting for him made him feel anxious. Anxious to clear out this raider nest, but the grenades to the chest tempered that. These raiders laid an ambush, had grenades and automatic weapons. He would have to stop relying on his toughness alone to get the job done. 

"if I can get a healing potion, I'll be fit to fly, I think I would be carrying one pony. I don't see the other unicorn anywhere. "     

"Well, between that and the ammo already in the gun, that makes a full mag." Dash said, "I'm not one to burn through ammunition on crazed run and guns." Dash looked over the weapon and wiped the Rider's spittle off while listening to what the dragon had to say. Dash tested out his wings a bit, luckily, they hadn't been nicked by any stray gunfire. He had always trained himself to keep them safe, they were potentially his only ticket out of most situations, "I'm up." he said, confirming his ability to continue the mission.

Sawdust smiled, "You're OK! Good." ... "Indeed!" She said blithely, there were bodies to loot! Sawdust went and gathered the dead raiders, for a proper looting one had to have all the loot near its self.

She didn't regard any 'empty' bodies as being 'empty'. Without a Pipbuck to tell her otherwise she had to assume every raider had something to loot on them and she was assuming that as she dragged them into a neat little row. Then would come proper looting, everything came off, their 'armor', clothes, bags, guns, holsters, anything and everything that could fetch even a few caps. Being a rather blunt and lacking savvy, the yellow mare had to deal in bulk sales rather than strong quality sales.

Dawn smiled, even chuckled a little, he had found what he had been looking for, an apple shaped grenade sat on his hoof, stashing it for later use, he saw the large dragon coming back to, meaning we might have to move again soon, he had seen very few dragons in his life let alone one actually get hurt that bad, stretching his wings "it's good to hear that your okay"he said feeling somewhat useless for his lack of supplies.

"Just say the word and i'll be ready to continue flying." He punctuated, checking the magazine in his gun, seeing he had enough ammo to survive for a bit, not being much of a fan of sub-machine guns even if it was an upgrade from the conventional pistol. putting that back in it's holster, he waited for any further orders, this is going to be harder then it sounds the thought crossed his mind, hopefully he wasn't going to be right.

Dash tested his wings a few beats as he always did before flying. It had become a habit of his when he had been very young, before his brother was born even. The SMG, he tucked between the part of his vest on his back and his back. It would be a little finicky, but not anything that would effect his overall performance. It was possible that he could forget that it was back there and keep on using his pea-shooter, but he felt confident in his abilities and memory, "I agree, we should get moving, anypony could have heard the echoes from those gunshots."

Jack flew off into the skies, flying around and smiling. He looked around the area and apparently there was nopony else trying to kill them. He moved down near to the ground, waiting for Arcs signal for him to get back on. For now, he would just keep flying around the group. He wasn't that close to them, but he was close enough to hear them.

Sparkfire could hear his stomach growl at him, good he could hear again... He looked over to the stripped raider corpses, meat just left there...

"Aww excuse me gentleponies, I think I need to do something that is best not watched..." he said with a cautious grin as he dug into the raiders, ripping them and shredding them with his razor sharp teeth and claws.

He could feel his strength return to him as he finished with the first corpse. wiping the excess blood from his mouth and claws...
