==Personality==
Echo is a quite friendly pony, despite the fact that he can’t speak, a fact which often hinders his attempts at making friends. That doesn’t discourage him from trying to make as many friends as possible, cause friends are always a good thing in the wastes.
He often comes off as very feminine as well, gravitating towards large, strong ponies and often unconsciously being shy and flirtatious around stallions; also he is naturally very affectionate to anypony who he truly believes is his friend, showering hugs and nuzzles upon them.
On the flip side of his normally friendly exterior he hates raiders, slavers and any ponies associated with those activities with a burning passion, to the point where he takes pleasure in killing them, or watching them suffer.
==History==
Echo was born in the caves like the rest of the batponies, he had a decently happy childhood, about as good as could happen to a group of ponies living in a cave in a post-apocalyptic wasteland could.
Though as he was growing up he found himself growing stir-crazy, wanting to be outside the caves and able to stretch his wings. In order to keep from going too crazy he started to volunteer to leave the caves on food finding missions as much as possible.
It was on one of these missions his hatred of raiders ignited. He was coming back from scavenging a wrecked building, when he saw a group of raiders approach a small caravan, including several foals, not wanting to get involved as he was unarmoured and almost unarmed he stayed hidden behind some rubble, watching in horror as the raiders slaughtered every single pony there and looted the bodies. He stayed put long after the raiders were gone, trying to comprehend what he had just witnessed. Eventually the shock turned to hate and he went back to his cave and continued to live his life.
After a few years he felt the stir-crazyness start to creep back in and he convinced the leaders in his cave colony to send him beyond the Hoof to explore.
