Raid Town [closed]

Zuberi felt his head being yanked forward as Blitz tugged on it. "Ee-... yeah... Okay, I expected that, actually. Just make it convincing, don't worry about me. I'm a tough zebra," he said, following along the two 'raiders'.

Just ahead was the bridge, as the group got closer, the raiders there noticed them. They couldn't quite tell who was approaching or what was going on- too many drugs most likely. They loaded their weapons, and trained them on the group.

"There's a couple of schmucks heading right up to the bridge! Time for some fun, boys!" one shouted, firing his varmint rifle. Zuberi jumped as the round jumped at his hooves. Thank all things holy that they couldn't shoot straight at least.

Zuberi jumped behind Blitz and hid behind him. "Do something! You're suppose to be one of them!" he whisper hollered. "Act crazy or something, they can't see your armor from this distance."

Blits grinned slightly as Zuberi prompted him to do something as the round was fired at Zuberi's hooves. "Oi! Watch where're you're shootin!" Blitz yelled to them. "This stripey is worth more than the lot o' ya!" Blitz yelled to the raiders as he heavily stomped to grab their attention. "I'm sure somepony is gonna pay us for this zebra, but lets keep his stripey ass alive!" He cackled, smirking slightly as he kicked Zuberi hard enough to send the zebra sprawling before them, as if putting the zebra forward to be looked over or something. There would be a metre between himself and Zuberi and he was ready to move in case they tried to mess the zebra up.

The raider lowered his weapon, and peered forward at the group. He then noticed the armor, and the zebra being ushed along. "Oh, HELL YEAH!" he hollered excitedly. "Hurry the fuck up and get over here, stupid shits!" he hollered to them, waving a hoof.

The group made it to the bridge, and several raiders wandered across to meet them. The one with the varmint rifle stood and looked Blitz and the other raider over. "Who the hell are y'all two? I ain't never seen you two 'round here! Where you from? What gang are you from?" the raider demanded before spitting at Zuberi's hooves. Zubi jumped again, he didn't want that disgusting raider's diseased flem anywhere near him! Standing so close to the rotten stench was worse enough.

The raider then looked to Zuberi. "Who's this ugly whelp? Why'd ya bring a stinkin' zebra here?"

Upon being called at by the raider to get a move on, Blitz would tug on Zuberi's rope and gesture for the other pony faking it as a raider to follow, right now, Blitz was wearing quite the viscious grin.

Being questioned on who they were and where they were from, Blitz paused. "Us? My name's Crash. And my buddy is called Wingman. We're from a lovely little shit hole in Manehatten called mind your fuckin' business and wanted to head this way, see what fuck nuts would have us if we gave this Stripey bastard up as more meat for yer grinder. So to speak." Cocking his head to the side with that grin lingering, Blitz spoke again.

"So, how bout a little parlay? Could do with somethin' to drink."

The raider raised a brow at this "Crash" pony. He walked up to him, and looked him in the eye. "Nopony talk to me like that... You got balls, colt. Now use them, and watch what you say," the clearly high and insane pony rattled off, making little sense to others, but all the sense in the world to himself. He turned back and looked at Zuberi.

"A zebra?" he asked, then started to laugh. "Yeah! He'll be real fun for the boys..." He took a step forward and looked at Zubi. He walked around him, and looked his body down. Then stepped forward, and licked his face. Zuberi recoiled immediately, he didn't need to be told to. He almost fell over, even. That was disgusting!

"Tastes like... Gecko meat... and dirt. The others will enjoy this a lot." Without another word, the raider stepped forward and planted a firm hoof into Zubi's side, which caused the poor zebra to emit a groan, and fall over. The wind knocked well out of him.

"Take him to the prison place in the- um... the place wit the things with the papers in them-..."

"Books?" another raider suggested.

"Yes! Books..." the previous raider finished. "Now shut the hell up!" he then hollered back to the pony who helped him.

"Its called a library, stupid fuck..." Zuberi muttered under his breath, still laying on his side.

Blitz simply chuckled as he was apparently threatened by the raider he was confronted with, still sporting a wild grin as he refrained from kicking the raider in the face. But both he and Zuberi knew what they were walking into, so he kept the facade up for now.

"Right" Was all Blitz said as he was told to take Zuberi to the "prison", which was in fact just a library. It took Blitz about ten minutes to get there with the zebra in tow, walking in through the door to the library and looking around to try and see where all the other captive ponies are. Now all they had to do was wait for the other teams to get to work.

(Imagine the library in Ponyville in the FoE story.) The library was disgusting. There were body parts all over the place, blood and other bodily materials were spattered across the walls and across propaganda posters from the war. Books littered the floor; several were torn up, burned, or ruined in some other way. Seeing this nearly brought a tear to Zuberi's eyes... He loved pre-war books... And it killed him to see the books treated so poorly.

They did manage to spot the prisoners, however. There were several cells made with iron barns, inside were five ponies. They looked beaten, raped, bleeding, and covered in their own excretion. The sight was disturbing, and smelled even worse. Zuberi felt an actual tear come to his eye now. And another once the smell hit him. Dangling over head was an iron cage hanging by a chain from the ceiling. Inside was a pony, slumped up against the side. The pony's face was out of sight, it seemed to be passed out.

Inside were six raiders, who met the group at the door. "Who the hell are you?!" one of them demanded, he appeared to be in charge of this smaller group of raiders who were watching the prisoners. There was only one minute remaining until the attack at the front would begin.

Blitz gritted his teeth something fierce as he picked out just about every detail of the library during the moments between their arrival into this pit and being confronted at the door. Blitz just brought a smirk to his face and chuckled. "Crash. I got sent this way by the screwball at the bridge to put this Zebra in one o' the cells, why fucking else would I be here, right now, with a zebra on the end o' this rope?"

Tugging the rope to pull Zuberi closer, Blitz would move to walk further into the library. "So, where's he goin?" Was all the stallion would say, starting to find it difficult to restrain his anger.

Zuberi was far too distracted by the room, and felt his head get yanked over by Blitz. His head jarred around, and it caused him to stumble into the raider confronting them. The raider didn't even blink before he shoved Zubi back and punched him in the mouth. Zuberi went straight down.

"Get this bag on the hooks! Stupid, clumsy fuck! You'll pay for that!" the raider hollered. The other raiders stormed over and grabbed Zuberi, shouting with excitement. His eyes went way wide as he started to panic.

"H-Hooks?! What are you- why-! Damn it! I just bumped into you, you insane son of a-" Zuberi didn't get to finish his insult before a night stick struck the back of his neck. His words changed into wailing as the raiders began to drag him off. Zuberi did, however, manage to look up, and saw "the hooks". They were large meat hooks hanging by chins. Currently hanging from them was a bloody corpse. Zubi started to panic, and resisted.

However, he stopped. The raiders dropped him on the floor, and one jumped on his back and pinned him down so the others could remove the corpse from the hooks. Zuberi looked up at the two ponies dressed as raiders who had lead him there. He gave them a look which read "don't buckle". All the while in a panic about the hooks. His mind was shouting 'Where is the damn attack?!'

Luckily for him, the clocks with Groups 2 and 3 hit ten minutes, time for the attack to begin.

Lightning quickly led Group 2 around the rubble, his eyes constantly scanning the terrain around them. Once they had arrived at the weak spot in the wall, he would give a nod to Kira and Blast Cap. "Set up the explosives and get ready for a fight for your lives. Don't blow up until I give you the signal. I'll be in that nearby hill." He quickly motioned with his head toward a nice little hill that overlooked the wall, perfect for him to setup an overwatch.

Taking one more quick look around, Lightning whispered a quick, "Good luck," before running off. He took a long way around the hill in order to ensure that he wasn't spotted. He didn't want to fly up and get caught by any guards. Once the blue pegasus made it up the hill, a quick check of his Pipbuck told him that he only had a minute left. 'Ahh, crap...' He had to hurry if he wanted to set up on time. Turning on his EFS, Lightning quickly pulled out his sniper rifle and laid down on the earth.

The rest of the world faded away as the pegasus focused in on his scope. His EFS helped him determine where and how many targets there were but it did little to comfort him. There was a lot of targets. This wasn't going to be easy. Watching his Pipbuck tick down, Lightning put a raider in the middle of his crossheirs. 10...9...8...7...6...5...Not much time now...4...3...2...1...BANG! A bullet would come flying out of his sniper rifle the second the time hit zero, his hoof tensing up around the trigger.

The raider pony who had met group 1 at the bridge was still standing there, acting like he was king of the raiders... until his head suddenly splattered across the landscape. The loud bang of the sniper rifle was the beginning of the attack, now group 2 would begin an assault. Now it was up to group 2 to wait for group 1 and the prisoners to make their way to the weak spot in the wall.

The other raiders at the gate watched their headless comrade fall over the side of the bridge and into the water, and instantly went on guard. They pulled out their weapons, and quickly got to surveying the area around them for the shooter, but couldn't see one! Mean while, every raider in Ponyville was now aware of a shot, though... random shots weren't totally uncommon. They would need more than one single shot to be alerted, and mostly continued as they were doing.

Blast took his time setting up the charges, he may have been asleep for a very long time but he didnt lose his skill with demolition and sabotage. he looks to the griffon also setting charges "Set them there at the base of the wall, when it blows the wall will fall outwards and fill in this ditch so the prisoners can get across easier," he says quietly trying not to be heard and also as to not drop his last cigarillo. He gets up against the wall and draws his 9mm pistol and holds the detonater in hand for the signal.

Scraps was currently rethinking how he could possibly get out of this adventure unharmed and without having to get shot when the time to get started on the attack came. Making sure to be behind a nice piece of cover he called quietly to the members of the team.

"Make sure you're behind cover, I don't want anypony being a stupid hero and charging. That will get you full of holes and dead real fast. Wait till I shoot, then open fire."

Scraps gave the rest of the team ample time to get into cover before sending a shot from his lightning pistol toward the raiders fortifications.

Sound Wave was starting to have doubts about this plan ever since Zuberi volunteered to be 'sold' off to the raiders. The mere thought of the Zebra being put in danger like that was troubling and was putting the Pegasus on edge and making him worry. A LOT. Clicking his tongue in annoyance, the Pegasus muttered about going to kill the zebra himself if he got hurt on this rescue mission.

Among the other ponies in Group 3, Sound Wave looked at Scrap and opened his mouth to ask if he thinks Zubi was alright only to be suddenly cut off by a loud bang!

Without another thought, the Pegasus leapt for cover and pulled out his Pistol. There was the signal! Time to attack!

"HEY SKEEVER BUTT!" Sound Wave yelled at the top of his lungs as he waves his hooves all willy nilly to grab the raider's atttenion. "LOOKIT ME!! LOOKIT ME!! I'M A TARGET THAT SHOOTS BACK!" He screamed before pulling up his gun and firing a couple of rounds at the Raider base.

Sneaking around the raider camp had not been that hard especially with the distraction from the others. With her pipbuck showing it was time to get it started she did set down the explosives and get this party started.

Placing down the change at the base of the wall, making sure that the blast would be directed to the wall before she took the detonator and retreated to the side of the wall. All they need to do now is to wait, once the first group was ready then the raiders would get a surprise.

Lightning watched as his bullet hit his mark but then, he was rather annoyed to not hear any returning fire. Or any fire in general. Where was Team 3? Where was the attack? All the raiders barely reacted to his shot and at most, they just took a glance around. "Alright, no more playing around. Let's get down to business." Locating two suitable targets, the pegasus took a deep breath before aiming at the head of one of them. He, quickly but gently, pulled the trigger sending a bullet at that raider but in order to show that he was serious and to rush Team 3 along, he fired another shot at the second raider next to him, hoping to hit him in the head as well.
