Cornered Between Raiders (West Wing) [invites only]

Samedi heard the others cry out as they were struck by the robot's lasers. A quick glance back showed him that the wounds hadn't been fatal, but they would need a few moments to recover.

Now was his chance.

The ghoul rushed out from the shadows and raised his stick over his head, swinging it at the robot.


[Running, 5 AP, Attacking, 8 AP, Staff's Damage: 25.]

Rad felt the laser burn him as it hit, crying out a little more in shock than pain as the heat burned his nerves. Upon looking at the robot he saw bullet holes in it, yet it was still moving... Now Rad wasn't exactly a pony of science, or engineering, and didn't have the first clue about robots, he had also never had to fight one until now. So as he saw that the bullets hadn't stopped the thing, he could hardly be blamed for the conclusion he jumped to. "It's invincible to bullets! Our guns are useless!!"

Rad looked at the protectron, wondering just what he should do... When he remembered when he accidentally power hooved the door open... "Maybe..." The pegasus then leapt towards the clanking machine, and gave it a few swings of his power hooves.

The robot got hit by Samedi's staff but yet standing, when he turned to the ghoul Rad punched it with his Power Hooves and the robot's lights shut down after Rad's punch. The robot seems to be completely "dead". The Weapon production area had a few disassembled weapons and there's 3 ammunition boxes. Yet there's graffiti around the walls.

Sharp looked at Rad really surprised "well if haven't beaten up that rust buxket without your power hooves...well.. We will be wasting precious ammo on a tin can!" Sharp though he gets kind of worried of the possibility of Rad boasting about it during the whole trip. Sighs and speaks to himself with a low voice "oh, great..."

Sharp decided to look around the room to see if he finds anything interesting or useful.

Samedi heard the robot give a feeble, mechanical groan as its lights flickered out. A foul, oily smoke trailed out of its vents and into the air. He turned to Rad and nodded.

"That was good thinkin' on your part, Rad. I'd like to thank you on behalf of the party for takin' that walking scrapheap out. You did mighty fine work with those hooves of yours."

The ghoul turned to see Sharp looking around the room. Samedi decided it would be best to start searching now before everything was found. True, he had little use for guns--He wasn't partial to them--but a good many wastelanders were, and would be eager to trade.

[Searching the room for useful items, Perception: 6 (+1 hat)]

Rad watched the protectron clatter to the ground, broken and inactive... He stood for a while, before he realised that he must have been right! "Haha! I knew it! Robots are immune to bullets... We'll just have to smash 'em up with our hooves each time eh? Jus' like I said... Good job I got these things huh?" He said, holding up a power hoof. "Now let's see what we got around here huh? Startin' with this fella..." He looked down at the idle robot, not really knowing how to get at it's insides. "Uhh... Anypony know how to open these things? I'll leave it to somepony else..." He then trotted off and started looking around for himself, weapons production sounded like the kind of place he could get some new guns, or maybe even some upgrades for his current guns! And so the pegasus rather meticulously checked the area, hoping for something.

[Perception 6, searching all over the room for anything of value... Or anything shiny...]

Samedi found a gun of his own now! He found a 10mm Pistol with some ammo still in it. Sharp found some 50 caps lying around the factory and Rad he was even more lucky he found between the disassembled pistols lies a Cowyboy Repeater still in good condition too! But yet anthor gunshot echoes through the room....But that gunshot sounded quite faint that it came from the other side of the factory.

Amnesia grimaced and looked at an ugly burn that streaked across her shoulder. With a few grunts, she got back up to search the room of anything valuable. Rad found a repeater, a good one at that. Some ponies get all the luck. She opened the cylinder of her .357, two rounds left.
Better find some ammo in here... or make em count.

"Ugh... These pistols won't last me forever....."

Rad picked up the repeater, it was in pretty good condition, didn't have any ammo though... He heard Amnesia mention about her pistols, and looked at the rifle in his hooves. He already had two Assault Carbines, not like he needed this too... "Hey Amnesia!!" He shouted, waiting till he had her attention. "Catch!" He then chucked the repeater over to the other pegasus. "No bullets for it sorry, but it'll make a good club till ya get some eh?" Rad smiled, and heard more gunshots. "Maybe they'll have some ammo for ya?"

Amnesia caught it and smiled. "Hey thanks man! I'm sure they do!"
She swung the action as the reciever opened up. "Sweeeet. Maybe I can find some ammo in here."

Amnesia was a very happy pony.

Samedi looked over the pistol in his hoof. It was in fair condition, considering the circumstances in which he had found it. There were even a few bullets left. While he defiantly would be seeing if he could trade it later, for now it might be useful, especially when confronting armed ponies.

His ears twitched as the sound of gunshot came from the other side of the factory.

Sharp took the caps quite satisfied now that he had to save up for a weapon he needed soon. Sharp started to wonder the locked door that Samedi couldn't open...Sharp mumbled to himself "The key that Rad haves could it be..." shaking his head, he headed to the locked door himself.

Luckily for Amnesia she found some ammo for her new weapon between the empty ammo boxes in a corner of the room but it was enough for 3 or 5 shots.
The factory was filled with a suspicious silence, there are no sings of raiders anywhere at the moment...The door that Sharp is checked it turned out that it can be opend with a key. It seems there's more to check around the factory.

Sharp just remembered something and headed to Rad "Hey Rad did you happen to find anything unusual in the safe you opened up in the first room?"

Sharp looks at Samedi's 10mm Pistol, "not bad Sam didn't knew you had some skill with guns!"

Rad looked up from a box he had been routing through as Sharp wandered over. "Unusual? Hmm..." He thought back to everything that was in there. A health potion, Stampede and a key... Nothing stood out as unusual to him. "Nope! ...But I did find a key! Maybe it'll open another safe, with another key! It could be like a treasure hunt!" He smiled at Sharp, clearly excited at his own idea. "Oh! I wonder what's at the end, maybe an awesome prize! This is a weapons factory after all, some sorta real cool lookin' gun maybe!"

Amnesia nearly lept with joy at the ammo she had found. Without delay, she loaded the rounds into the side of the gun and swung the lever, chambering the first bullet.
She looked at Rad in his ecstatic state. "Yeah well lets save the excitement for when we actually get the cool lookin' gun, alright pal?" A small smirk crossed her face she found this colt amusing.

Samedi looked over and smiled at Sharp.

"Well, I'm really not one for firearms, myself," said the ghoul, "But I suppose they're useful in certain situations." Truthfully, Samedi didn't like guns, but with today's events he found himself wishing he did. The zebra turned to Rad, who was still clutching the key in his hoof.

"Rad, suppose we try and see if that key fits that lock over there," he paused to point his staff at the locked door.

Sharp nods at Samedi "True we always need to be prepared in the current situation!"
the earth pony sits down and waits for either waiting for Rad to open the door or a raider magically appears out of nowhere.

Rad looked at the door, and headed over to try and unlock it. "Right door, show me whatcha got!" He wasn't worried really. Even if the key didn't work, he could just smash the door open with his power hooves, not like the raiders didn't know they were here already. He put the key in the lock, tried to turn it, then frowned as it didn't budge at all, he then smiled to himself. "oh yeah..." Then tried turning it in the right direction and hoped.

As Rad expected the door opened with a click and there leaded to a hallyway deeper in the factory what's ahead there might be something interesting or something extremely dangerous, Whatever it is there are still raiders lurking around the old gun factory.

Ahead through the hallway there was 2 doors both doors were open and it could have something useful behind them or not. Suddenly a faint voice was heard "Hey have you guys heard those shots before?" "Well what ever that is hope is not bad or the boss will be very pissed when she finds out we have outsiders!" Yet the hallway remained safe at the moment giving the group some time to scavenge around,

Sharp really wanted to scavenge around but he was eorrie that the raiders might interupt him from looking any goods. He got an idea "I think we should kill the raiders first so we can peacefully check around you know?" Sharp takes out his 10mm pistol and checks around the hallway for any raiders or any threat.

[Perception 7 looking around the hallway for any threats]

Amnesia walked behind Sharp and covered him, hovering while aiming down the hallway with her new repeater. "I hear ya. I gotcha covered."

"Dealin' with these raiders first sounds good, I suggest we run an' shoot 'em all!" Rad said, trotting alongside Sharp and Amnesia, seemingly without a care in the world. "I bet these ponies are real wimps anyway, if the other two are anythin' to go by. They barely even put up a fight, heh."

Samedi quietly moved behind the three ponies as they moved toward the hall. Just as Rad was about to trot into the corridor, he put put a hoof on his shoulder.

"I'm up for disposin' of the raiders as well, Mr. Boom," said the Zebra, "But given the situation, I think it best that we follow Miss Amnesia's example and go about this in a more, ah, stealthy manner."

The ghoul lifted his staff from the ground, giving a glance down the hall.

The group reached the last room at the end of the hallway and they bumped in two more raiders but both of them were tougher than the last two they have met in the factory. The unicorn raider looks at the other raider that he was an Earth pony "Hey Drills, how does these two get here?" The earth pony raider shakes his head "I don't know Jacket....But they sure made it this far...." Both raiders draw out their weapons and prepares to shoot at the group now.
