However, for this to be true, that must mean that there can be a maximum of one deity, as having two would inevitably cause a dispute for this power. From this, we can draw that the god or gods allow us to have free will in order to prevent war amongst themselves. Therefore, even if there are no gods, a single god, or multiple gods, we will have some form of free will, the amount depending on the number of gods. But I believe that if there is some higher power, then we can not act, but only react to its whims." Nova replied, utterly exasperated after going into that much depth.
