Post by Zestari Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:06 am

Zestari waved at Kestrel from the passenger side window when he turned up, and then her mouth dropped when she saw the array of ronin vehicles that had been pursuing him. As he leapt up into the back of the vehicle, she leant out of the window and swivelled her head towards the griffon, “What did you do to get this army to chase you?!” She shook her head and swung back into the cabin and turned to look at Scrap who was already loosening his firearm and started firing at the oncoming army of yellow.

With a shrug, Zestari figured she’d do the same, and equipped the massive pistol that she’d looked at earlier. Pointing the gun out of the window she began casually firing it. The gun practically roaring with each shot as the bullets speared towards the ronin. She’d have used the shotgun, but that was a weapon appropriate for more close quarters encounters.

“How’re we supposed to kill them all?" She yelled out over the roar of Wheelsie’s engine and the chatter of gunfire. Far off in the distance she could swear she saw red and blue flashing lights. “What the hay?” She said confused.

“We might have to leg- er, wheel it.” Bakewell admitted loudly as she pulled a sharp turn and accelerated scattering and crushing a group of Ronin dumb enough to get out of their own cars. She couldn’t really shoot reliably from her position without clocking Scrap on the head with her gun repeatedly, so only half of the collisions the group faced were caused by bad driving and mildly obstructed vision. The mare was starting to get slightly worried, though; Wheelsie was taking a few hits and she wasn’t sure that he was fully invincible.

“Somepony else is coming.” She informed the group as her new EFS map tracked some more friendly dots heading their way. A strange wailing noise was just starting to make itself audible over the other screeches and crashes.

“I really hope that’s not as bad of a noise as I suspect it is!”

Sky felt broken, she ran over everything in her path. From ponies, to zebras, to even the ronin, she didn't care where she went. Every thump that was heard from out side her truck, she winced a bit. Sky didn't notice a a couple cars that followed her, Ronin cars from behind and gaining. Maybe they mad she ran over a couple of their friends, she just continued on her way to Luna knows where. Sky got her phone and checked on the others, Bakewell, Scrap, Zestari, and even kes were together. No point in helping them out, she looked at the others. Starry was with Violet, What a brilliant combination of two mare who were the definition of crazy. Again no point in helping them out, Sky looked around more on her phone for the others. Flash and Cross? Nope they can handle themselves, So the only pony left is Mona, Who seemed to be alone.

"well i guess i found a pony to help out." Sky said as she turned up the engine and sped through the city like a banshee out of hell, ran over everything in her way. the Ronin stopped following Sky and she noticed alot of ponies wearing green, not good. For some reason she knew which territory this was, The Sons of Samedi. "What did Mona get herself into..."

Meanwhile, with Mona in the Sons of Samedi territory...

The first griffin’s face curled into a frown at the ‘pigeon’ comment Mona made. “Ah, a rather biting comment from one with such little fire. You will, in time, learn how to properly speak to your betters, or you will find your life a very short one indeed.” the griffin’s beak once again curled into a smile as several red-dots appeared on Mona’s mini-map. “You see, I am known as The General. And these,” he gestures at the figures emerging from the alleys all around Mona, mostly griffins with the earth pony or pegasus here and there. All wearing green, and most of them armed with wicked-looking machetes as well as various firearms. “Are my men. Now, as much as I would enjoy watching them tear you apart and do what they please with you, I’m afraid I must be off. Mr. Sunshine?”

The other griffin’s face contorted into a...disturbing grin as he waved his sceptre over Mona. Before the mare could draw her weapon or do much of anything, she felt splitting headache over take her and her stomach doing backflips in her gut, soon forcing her to release its contents. The griffin, ‘Mr. Sunshine’, laughed a cruel laugh as he and The General returned to their vehicle and drove off, leaving the large gang of Samedi surrounding Mona as she regained her sense. The headache went away, and her stomach calmed down, although the emptying of it left her feeling somewhat weak.

Violet looked up at Starry, grinning wildly as she pocketed the phone and drew her katana. “Alright! Lets blow this place to bits!” she cried out as she followed mare, katana thrusted forward as she charged through the city. However, despite the enthusiasm, the two drove quite awhile without seeing any Ronin. It was like they were busy with something else...

Violet was of course starting to get bored with the lack of ponies to dice to bits, and didn’t feel like going after the poor civilians. Her face lit up though when her silver eyes spotted something in the distance (well, for her, at least). Something that made her giddy with joy as she cried out its name.

    RAMP!!!!

Veering her Pulse off the road, and through some civilians, she sped towards the ramp and hit it at top speed, shooting into the air and flying several yards before smashing into the ground through some earth ponies in red and coming to a stop. “That. Was. AWESOME! Lets do it again!” Grinning, she turned around to see where Starry was, but only saw the broken bodies of the ponies she smashed through. “Oops...I think I broke them.”

It was at that point she saw the red wolf symbol above her mini-map...And several other red-wearing earth ponies that were slowly walking towards her, carrying various weapons and not looking too pleased that she smashed their friends. “Uh...hey guys! Sorry I smashed your buddies...Don’t suppose we could just laugh this off and call it a day?” She ducked with a ‘eep!’ as an earth pony with a sledge hammer swung it over her head, before she stabbed her horn right into his jugular, blood spilling all over the place as he fell over dead. “Didn’t think so!” With a telekinetic hurl she flung the body towards the others, before once again drawing her sword with a wicked and vicious grin on her face, which, when combined with the blood-covered face, didn’t lend itself to pleasant dreams. “Alright then, lets party!”

She rushed forward, the little filly nearly a blur as she dashed past the first pony, blood spurting out of his side before he could react as the katana just sliced through him. The next one was faster, and tried to bring a metal baseball bat down on the filly. But Violet was faster still, and deflected the bat away with her own sword before driving the blade into the pony’s eye, who, of course, screamed bloody murder. She glanced around, seeing a pony leveling a shotgun and, acting quickly, telekinetically grabbed the pony she just stabbed and swung him into the line of fire. The screaming pony was silenced as the shells ripped through his side, and with a grin Violet grabbed the pony’s bat before hurling it towards shotgun-pony, a crack filling the air as the bat shattered the pony’s skull.

In a span of seconds Violet had managed to kill four of the red-ponies, and on her EFS she could see several others approaching fast on big trucks. “Come on Starry! You’re missing all the fun!” she yelled with her usually cheer as she snapped a pony’s neck and hurled the body into the window of a truck driving towards her, causing it to careen out of control and into a nearby building.

Kes continued on his killing spree, sending more rounds down range in a few minutes than he had fired in a week back in the wasteland proper. For some reason his shoulder was not getting sore despite the heavy recoil of the monstrous rifle he was firing over and over again.

He was still somehow pulling out more and more ammo for the thing from his long coat and showed no signs of stopping.

Zestari's question went unanswered. Kes did not feel like explaining that he had killed a few dozen Ronin already and taken out three of their attack helicopters with nothing but his talons...but that would be bragging. And Kes did not like to brag.

The sound of sirens wailing got the gryphons attention, causing him to turn around and glassed over the newcomers. He saw Cross and Lightning in driving towards them, and behind them a veritable army of cops.

Great, more people to shoot. That would have to wait though, Kes was still dealing with Ronin. Shot by shot, kill by kill.

Sky checked her phone to see she was at a university, like the center of Sons of Samedi territory. Sky only thought of ways Mona could only get stuck here, Mona's marker isn't moving. Sky floored it to her position, going trough cars and ponies of the like.

Gamer's Day [Wild Wasteland] - Page 6 Empty Re: Gamer's Day [Wild Wasteland]

Post by Mona Tones Mon Jun 18, 2012 4:35 am

Mona didn't need to look up from where she collapsed down after the retching, she could tell by her HUD that six of them seemed to be closing in, with more on the way.

Giving a discreet glance as she pulled herself slowly to her hooves, she counted three Gryphons, two earth ponies, and a Pegasus around her. In the wastes, being surrounded like this could have been a problem, let alone with the slight weakness she was experienceing for the sickness.

However, Mona wasn't about to give up that easily. And the second one of the Gryphons let out a yell as he ripped his Machete out and charged her, she sprung into action, her body almost seeming on auto-pilot.

With surprising agility, Mona weaved to the side, dodging the machete, as she raised on her hindlegs, grabbing the blade-wielder by the neck with her leg, restraining him from behind. Her telekinesis then swiftly yanked her butterfly knife out of her suit, and into her shields throat, before she swiftly shoved him at the pegasus, grabbing his blade over the knife.

It took only a second after this for the others to spring into action (Aside from the Pegasus who had a bleeding out Gryphon collapsed on top of him), as they ripped out their own machetes (Apparantly a signature weapon of this gang?) and charged the Unicorn. Angry swings, with a lot of force but no planning. Mona weaved under A swing from a Gryphon, and carefully stepped to the side of a lunging stab from one of the Earth ponies, before returning in kind by swinging her own weapon down and through his spinal cord, before slipping past and behind the final Gryphon who accidentally contribulted to her efforts as his failed swing collided with the face of the last attacker, blade lodging deep in the green-clothed ponies skull as he dropped with little more then a gurgle.

Now, outside of the danger area, Mona found herself with a few seconds of breathing room, as she once again grabbed onto the gryphon as a shield, her Kobra finally entering the fray as she slipped it out, and planted a shot straight between the eyes of both the last gryphon, and the Pegasus stuck under his own comrade. She was about to snap the neck of her last opponent, when she remembered that these were just the small-fry, and what she really wanted was the General...

In a second, her telekinesis wrapped around the two machetes still lodged in the Earth ponies, as she ripped them out, and shoved the gryphon down, before swinging both into a wing each, a spray of gore emitting from both almost-severed wings as the beast let out a scream of pain. She then proceeded to grab him by the neck and slam his face into the ground, a crack eminating out as his beak collided with the hard concrete. With that, she walked over, and leaned down next to his head, making sure her voice was clear.

    "Where is that Limo going?"

Weakly, they responded, in too much pain to even consider lying. However, what they said was not was Mona wanted to hear.

    "...I...I don't k-know...It almost never st-stops...You fucking S-saints won't ev-"

His voice was quickly cut off, as in an extremely rare burst of anger, Mona yanked the machetes from his wings, and sliced then into both sides of her victim's neck, like a giant pair of scissors. She had heard enough, and the fact that she couldn't help that mare the General had kidnapped felt like a punch to her stomach.

However, she didn't have time to dwell on it, as a bullet rang out, reminding Mona that reinforcements had been well on their way, and Mona pulling her pistol had turned this from a brawl to a gunfight. Dropping the bloody remains of the Gryphon, Mona quickly aimed her Kobra and fired back, her gun quickly dropping three Samedi attackers as she stepped backwards, keeping herself moving to avoid giving them a clean shot as she returned fire, she didn't have time to jump into her car, and she doubted the vehicle would stand up to much damage.

Then Mona's eyes settled on the Mare's motorcycle...thanks to the Limo's breaking, it hadn't been totaled, and it was looking alot more easy to get to then the Temptress...

Without hesistating, Mona galloped to the Motorcycle and shoved it back onto it's wheels, giving a few returning shots as she climbed on board and wrapped her legs around the handles, Pistol levitating beside her as she revved the vehicle and sped out of the danger zone. She had no delusions that she had lost the samedi, but at least now she wasn't stuck in one location with reinforcements baring down on her...

Cross watched his EFS as a whole group of friendlies came within his line of site, It was Bake and several others all jammed in that monstrosity of a vehicle heading straight towards the Blade. They appeared to be in the process of crushing several 'Ronin' gang members and vehicle.

Luckily Cross had brought his own reinforcements in the form of Stillwater's police department. He drove in right next to the passenger side of the Tartmobile and called out.

"Hey did you ponies need some help?" If everything went according to plan. The police and Ronin should be fighting each other pretty soon....

As Cross led the police forces into the fight between Bakewell and co and The Ronin, his plan went much better than expected.

Some of the police vehicles smashed right into the Ronin vehicles accidentally, prompting the Ronin to think the police were going after them and opening fire. With numerous members of the zebra gang firing on them, the police averted their attention from Cross and focused on the Ronin, pulling out firearms as a huge firefight broke out between the two. In all the chaos and confusion the Saints should be able to slip away unseen...

(Note: Rolled for this, and it was a good roll, thus why the plan was so successful.)

Scrap had been ignoring the growing sound in favor continuing to rain lead-lead based death upon the zebra gangs various vehicles and members. Finally though the sound grew to the point where he did look, just in time to see Cross and Lightning trailed by a large amount of police, which promptly started to attack the ronin.

Sensing this opportunity Scrap stopped firing for a second and spoke up to the other occupants of Wheelsie.

"I think we should make a convenient escape here. Either the police kill off the ronin or the ronin kill off the police. Either way we win! And if we retreat for now we can fix any damage to Wheelsie and come back later to finish off the ronin if they win against the police."

Kestrel just kept firing for a bit, killing a few more Ronin and Cops alike before he ducked down into the back of the truck and reloading his rifle.

"Your choice" was all he said to the driver of the massive truck he was in. If Bakewell stuck around, Kes would keep blasting away attackers. If they ran, so be it.

Scrap was smart. His advice should probably be followed.

“We’re pulling back.” The mare announced as she pulled the wheel hard and slammed on the gas, making a break through the chaos. She didn’t give Cross a response, it would probably be drowned out by the gunfire anyway and like hay was she going to thank the unicorn for a rescue that hadn't been needed.

“Maybe try to kill any Ronin you can while we’re leaving.” She suggested. “They deserve it more than the police.”

Kes nodded and went back to blasting Ronin; as always showing his terrifying skill with a sniper rifle. The scarred bird's body count only continuing to rise as Bakewell drove away.

The gryphon even managed to get a two-for-one shot, killing two zebras with a single headshot. It was as impressive as it was gory.

As Cross neared Bakewell and the others, Lightning paid little attention to them and concentrated on firing upon the police. However, when the Ronin came into view, he began to change his targets to them instead. He managed to take out a couple before the police and the Ronin began to engage each other instead of them.

With the chase coming to an end, the pegasus would pull his head back into the car, staring out the windshield without a word. He could see Bakewell was steering her car away from the fight. Looking at Cross, he would say, "We going to follow them?"

Zestari wasn’t sure how many Ronin she’d shot at. Nor how many vehicles she’d been responsible for turning into smoking wrecks from the mass of sustained fire. Then things went from chaotic to fully insane by the arrival of Cross and Flash with a trailing entourage of police cars. Shaking her head in dismay she began to switch from target to target, aiming at anything that would fire towards Wheelsie.

Bakewell’s conveyance was beginning to take a few bullets and was kind of beginning to run rough, the zebra nodded in agreement when she decided that leaving the battle was a good idea. “Sounds wise,” she said pulling her head back inside “I don’t think we’re going to achieve anything staying here engaged in a fire fight.”

As if to punctuate her point she casually hung her pistol out the window and squeezed off a couple of rounds. Ronin, Police, it didn’t matter.

Cross chuckled and looked over at Flash, with a smirk on his face. Quickly he peaked over to the left and saw a Ronin car trying drive past them, swinging his cane to aim out the window, he pulled the trigger and the car flew past them and exploded into a furious fireball of heat and metal.

"Follow them? Hellz no, just give me a second, and we'll grab what we need at start the 'game' "

*FLASH*, Scrap was now in the backseat of the Blade, Cross reached out and teleported him from Bake's lap into the car. Cross hit the pedal and the Blade and its passengers were now accelerating at an intense speed to escape Bakewell's slow little toy

"Hey Scrap, How you doing? …this should be fun…." Cross did a power drift and escaped into another street, heading away from Bakewell. There was no way in tartarus she could dodge all these cars and catch them. not to mention he was just generally faster.

He hoped Bakewell didn't get too mad. It was all in good fun.

Scrap resumed firing after he had voiced his advice, which the group had chosen to follow, though his shots started to miss more often as Wheelsie was turned away from the battle. Satisfied with the destruction his twin guns had wrought upon the ronin he decided to put the guns away, which to his surprise made them simply disappear, and was about to ask if Bakewell could drop him off at where he had parked his car when he saw a flash.

After the split-second passed and he could see where he was again he was greeted by the sight of the inside of Cross's car. Cross's question stirred Scrap and he opened his mouth to speak but instead of words coming out he found the last meal he had eaten, that his stomach apparently decided needed to meet Cross as it splashed onto the unicorn driver and the seat in front of Scrap.

Normally teleportation didn't bother Scrap as he knew when he was going to be teleporting, but the sudden and completely unprepared for teleportation must have mussed up something...

While the clash had been chaotic, it hadn’t actually gone on for all that long. Bakewell actually felt a little disappointed by the combat. Stupid simulation AI and its inept-Wait, Scrap?!? Oh no! It was listening, she’d killed Scrap Parts! She was a monster, a total monster! A quick glance in the rear view mirror thankfully eased her fears. She could make out Scrap’s red mane. He wasn’t dead, It was just Cross being a jerkface.

Her first instinct was to chase the thieving unicorn, but she resisted. She had been on the serving side of this game back in the stable way too many times to let herself fall for it now. She wasn’t going to give Cross the satisfaction of leading her around like a donkey with a carrot in front of its nose. Cross was probably going to behave himself with Lightning in the car, anyway. Of course this didn’t mean that Bakewell wasn’t going to beat the pulp out of Cross after he stopped running. If he did decide to hurt Scrap like a big stupid thug then Celestia as her witness she would take his horn and mount it on her wall.

“That was a bust.” Bakewell said from the driver’s seat. Her E.F.S. was offering nothing new in the way of tasks. “Got any other ideas? Ooh, maybe we can find their secret base. I could live with blowing up their secret base! Guess we probably have to find it first, though."

Lightning just gave a simple nod as he watched Bakewell's vehicle turn away. One sudden and unexpected flash later, a certain red maned pony was now sitting in the back seat. The pegasus would just shake his head as he looked back to say, "How nice of you to join us, Scrap." He could only wonder what Bakewell was thinking about them at the moment.

Apparently, the teleportation of Scrap caused some things to...come up. Now his lunch was sitting in the car and on Cross. Lightning made sure to hold back his comments and all he said was, "Next course of action, Cross?"

"UGHHH!!!!" Cross let out a huge disappointed groan... he was horribly, horribly disgusted but he still kept his eyes on the road.

"Scrap you are just absolutely sick!" Cross swerved the car left to avoid hitting another car and alot of chunks flew off him and landed on Flash, but that still did very to remedy his annoyance. Once he spotted a huge open parking lot, he made a sharp turn and drove to the center of the lot and stopped the car, causing it to come to a screeching halt.

"Out of the car, we're stopping for a bit."
Quickly getting out the car, Cross carefully and quickly threw his vest and his hood away, luckily he was still clean other than his clothes which he simply tossed aside. Just then a large thump was heard from the trunk.

"What was that? I think we have weapons rolling around back there, Scrap you mind checking it out?"

Now that his lunch was no longer with him Scrap's stomach felt much better, and hopefully he could talk again without spewing chunks.

"Sorry about that Cross, something screwed with my stomach...sure I'll go check."

Scrap hopped out of the car, which now smelled of vomit and inspected his clothes, thankfully no vomit had gotten on them. Walking around to the trunk he popped it open and promptly recived a hoof to the nose.

Recoiling he used his magic to slam the trunk shut on the pony that had punched him.

"Cross! Your "spare weapons" just punched me in the face!"

*BAM* Simulation Roid burst out of the trunk wield a highly flexible and unwieldy purple jelly-like weapon. He landed on Scrap's head and wrapped his entire body around the buck's head causing him to fall back as he was jutted with the butt of some kind melee weapon. He jumped onto the ground in front of Scrap and stood on his hind legs

"YEAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!" Roid started a blade dance with whatever that mysteriously inappropriate jiggling weapon was. As Scrap began to crawl back up in fear. Roid stared into his eyes and smiled, slowly creeping up with the long suggestive weapon, it spun in archs as he gradually brought it back and swung forward at Scrap's face.

"YEAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*BAM*" Roid Rage smacked Scrap across the face and sent him soaring a few yards across the blacktop..., Flash and Cross could slowly panic as Scrap realized in slow motion he was smacked with a ...large......jelly......phallus..... Once Scrap had landed a good distance away, simulation Roid placed the weapon back in its holster, cheered once more and ran off into the general population once more.

Flash and Cross saw the whole thing

Mona would find the retaliation from the Samedi quick and brutal. At least five cars packed with them were chasing her through the streets, their occupants hollering and screaming as they unleashed gunfire in her general direction. They were like a pack of rabid animals, high on a variety of drugs and almost crashing into each other as they tried to ram into Mona’s bike.

“HEY! TAKE THIS YOU FUCKING PURPLE WHORE!” yelled a griffin as he lit a rag stuck in the mouth of a filled whiskey bottle, before hurling the thing at Mona...

    -----------

Meanwhile, all throughout the city, once the individual groups spread around dealt with the gangs they were fighting (and one group got over the shock of what just jumped out of their car), all their phones started beeping in that annoying fashion they did before. Opening them would reveal another message from the Game Warden.

The next phase of the simulation is about to begin. The Activity Phase. Several activities are now marked on your maps, spread throughout the city. These activities must be completed, before the simulation may move on to the final phase. Please note that free-roaming may continue while the activities are being competed, and that you are not obligated to compete them right away. It is also recommended that multiple participants engage an activity at once, as they become difficult at later stages.

Looking at the map, the ‘players’ would find that indeed, several new markers were on the map. Each including a name, and a potentially helpful description of the activity.

Demolition Derby - Engage in a high-octane competition against several other competitors.

Crowd Control - Protect famous celebrities from their excited fans.

Escort - Drive a couple around the city, show them a good time, and avoid the somewhat persistent paparazzi.

Fight Club - Engaged in a good natured competition of pugilism against several professional fighters.

Fuzz - Star in a popular reality tv-show where you take on the role of a member of the Stillwater Police Force and bring justice to the streets.

Insurance Fraud - Trick city companies to solicit money from them.

Mayhem - Engage in unspecified urban renewal.

Septic Avenger - Weaponize city services to decrease the property value of the several buildings.

Snatch - Return entertainment workers to their place of work.

Hitpony - Remove undesirable elements from the city.

Starry tapped her hoof impatiently. Of all the times to run out of gas! This Toad was nearly empty when Starry got it, and now she was missing out on all the fun! She could hear Violet chopping the bad guys to bits across the street, meanwhile Starry was stuck at a gas pump watching the dollar meter slowly rise as she fueled-up.

Soon enough, it was finished, and Starry dropped the fuel nozzle, letting it dangle from the machine as she hopped on her Toad and zoomed away. It was just a short drive across the street, but Starry was lucky the other drivers were paying attention, because she didn't bother looking for oncoming traffic. She was a busy mare, and these drivers had better respect the purple!

Starry missed out on the initial action, but she saw a new group of reds rushing in on her EFS. She hoisted up her RPG, and took a shot as she drove head-on toward them. The body parts of several ponies in the center of the blast went flying, but there were still three on the outskirts that took up their guns and began firing. Starry ducked, as she rammed straight into one on the sidewalk and crashed into the wall of a department store, pinning the pony in-between.

Starry was scratched up, but it was going to take more than a collision into the side of a building to knock her down! She leaped off her Toad, and drew her broadsword. There was a large amount of smoke kicked up from the RPG blast and the debris from the building, enough to grant Starry a decent amount of cover. She drew her broadsword, and dashed forward out of the smoke cloud, cleaving a pony in half with a wide swing before he could even point his gun at the cloud of smoke.

The third pony began firing a submachine gun into the cloud of smoke, but Starry reacted quickly, and fell to the floor to take cover. She swiftly crawled her way toward the pony, and with another sweep of her sword from behind the smoke, she severed all four of the pony's hooves from his body. Another downward strike as he fell to the floor, and Starry had successfully impaled him to the sidewalk.

Starry was breathing heavily as the smoke began to clear. She looked back at Violet, who could probably see the entire scene despite the smoke, and gave a wicked grin. There was blood all over her face and in her mane, and a thick splatter across her labcoat. She had to wipe the blood off her glasses to see properly.

"Is this what I was missing?!" she exclaimed.
