The intensity of the light of the void suddenly began to grow, intensifying greatly until the party could see nothing but white. A moment later, a whoosh noise could be heard before a room materialized around the group. Again, nothing like Assassin’s Creed. Totally.
The ten ponies, and griffin and zebra, found their hooves, or talons in Kestrel’s case, once again on solid ground as the room finished materializing. They found themselves in a large, marbled lined room purple tinted-lights and multiple marble pillars. The room even had a rather grand staircase, leading up to a silver-metallic statue of a alicorn floating in the air, horizontally with her forlegs pointing down at an 45 degree angle, with a pistol floating in front of each of her forehooves. A devil's tail was coming out of her back instead of a regular pony tail and was wrapped around her legs, along with a contrasting golden halo above her head. The more perceptive among the group (or those who walked up to look at the statue) may notice from this distance a sign on the bottom of the statue that read 'The Saint of all Saints'.
Although despite the rather opulent design of the room, it screamed less 'Ballroom' and more 'Pimp house'. Why, you may ask? Perhaps it was the rather large bar, with several racks of various alcoholic beverages lining the wall behind it. Perhaps it was four couches in the center of the room facing a pole with a mare dancing provocatively around it, who once again proved that putting a small amount of clothing on something that normally didn't wear clothes made it hotter somehow. Perhaps it was the fact that there were several other 'pole dancers' on the upper levels. Or the fact that, based on a sign on the wall, the place was called 'Purgatory'. Or, perhaps most of all, it was the fact that the other occupants of the room, who were all wearing various purple outfits, seemed to less than...couth, with their bottles and cans of beer and how they seemed to enjoy watching the pole dancers. Although with how fleur-de-lises seemed to be sprinkled all over the place, on the walls and on the outfits of the purple-clothed ponies, it could of fooled you.
It was at this point the party would notice that they were no longer wearing the weapons and armor they arrived in the stable with. Instead they were each wearing a new, purple-themed outfit along with a new set of weapons.
Violet Star was wearing a cute purple dress similar to the one she had in at Starry’s party, sans the cleaver and wig. Instead she had a long katana snug inside a sheath that seemed to just be sticking to her back. Somehow. And under the sheath, a prominent fleur-de-lis could be seen, in a darker shade of purple then the rest of the dress.
Kestrel was wearing a long, leather, purple long coat that obscured most of his body, as well as a purple cowpony hat and a pair of dark shades that hid his piercing eyes. Like Violet a fleur-de-lis was also on his back, along with a large sniper rifle, which, like Violet’s katana, was just sticking to his back with no visible straps or holsters. On top of the rifle, the griffin could feel a .44 revolver inside his coat, also without a holster.
Cross Road’s outfit was much the same as his real one, although his hood was now purple and the armor he was wore was replaced with a rather nice purple vest. He even had his old cloak back, although it was purple now, like the hood. Along with all of that, the symbol on his Twlight Society clasp was also replaced with fleur-de-lis along with his other outfit changes. At this point he also noticed that inexplicably floating in his telekinetic grip was a red cane with a metal gold end, a band of gold near to top, and a golden figure of a mare for a handle on the top, one in a...rather provocative pose. Cross would also quickly notice that there appeared to be a trigger of some kind in the mare’s back.
Bakewell’s outfit seemed rather simple compared to the others. A unique and simple purple suit of some kind. She may recall seeing in books professional chefs back before the war who wore similar outfits, although they were usually black. Another fleur-de-lis marked the front of the suit, and on Bakewell’s back was a lever action shotgun, small enough to be handled in her mouth and within easy reach. She also found a pair of spiked iron shoes clamped on her hind legs.
Sky’s outfit, in contrast to the other’s, was a purple hoodie and a bandana wrapped around her mane. The bandana had a large fleur-de-lis on it, in keeping with the theme everything seemed to have. Sticking to her shoulder was a small submachine gun of some kind, one within easy mouth reach. On top of that, mounted on her back was a battle saddle with a light machine gun of some kind.
Mona Tones found herself wearing a very prim and proper purple business suit, with a small fleur-de-lis shaped pin on the lapel of the suit. Obviously a proper outfit for the mare. She also found inside the folds of her coat three weapons, a butterfly knife, a fragmentation grenade, and a interesting looking pistol with a built-in laser sight.
Scrap Part’s outfit was rather nice, a comfy and slick purple sweater vest with a fleur-de-lis pin like Mona, and an equally slick purple bowler hat sitting on his head. If that wasn’t enough, sticking to his back where two powerful looking .45 Auto Submachine Guns.
Lightning Flash’s outfit was also a bit bizarre compared to the others. He was wearing a full-body purple jumpsuit that covered everything but his wings and head. What did cover his head was a large and smooth motorcycle helmet, one with a completely opaque visor that nopony could see through. Well, besides Lightning of course. It’d be silly for him not to see through it. A fleur-de-lis was on the part of his suit covering his cutie mark, and two pop-up battle saddles, each with a built in assault rifle, were on his back, one under each of his wings. They was surprisingly compact, and weren’t at all uncomfortable. Lightning could probably fly with the thing easily, even when it was popped out. They even came equipped with underbarrel grenade launchers. The controls for them seemed to be built into the helmet, right in front of his mouth. How they connected was a mystery to everypony.
Starry Night’s was perhaps the strangest of all, however appropriate actually it was. She was wearing a white lab coat with a purple stripe on the back, complete with a name tag that said ‘Dr. Starry’ with a little purple fleur-de-lis on the end. On top of Starry’s head was a pair of thick goggles with very dark purple lenses. Starry also seemed to be carrying the largest amount of weapons in the entire group, on her back was a large broadsword, a high-tech looking rocket launcher, and inside her coat she could feel what she may suspect to be another explosive of some kind.
Zestari was wearing an open...racing jacket of some kind. The jacket was of course mostly purple, with two fleur-de-lises on the front, however the jacket also had white highlights, and there was a symbol on the back identical to the one on her flank. Sticking to her shoulder in easy reach was a large, silver pistol on some kind, and on her back was a drum barreled shotgun, also within easy reach. (See this picture for reference, the guy on the right.)
At that point they noticed something else, they each had an...unusual EFS overlaid on their vision. Instead of the compass function the EFSs from their pipbucks granted, this EFS had three main things, a circular map on the button left-hoof corner that was showing the layout of ‘Purgatory’, and the locations of all the party members, which were marked in green, and the other purple-dressed ponies, marked in purple. On the top right-hoof corner was an image of of the hoof (or in Kestrel’s case, talon) of the EFS’s user, surrounded by a red ring. Except for Cross, who instead had an image of the cane he was holding, with a 16/∞ under it. On the top left-hoof corner was a purple fleur-de-lis, followed to the right by the words ‘Your Stuff’. Under that, were the words “Go the the garage and get your vehicle.” At that point they may notice a glowing blue circle in front of a door in an open, adjacent room.
